Nice short visit on cold winter morning. Access to Sarah Ruppert bird park preserve is supposed to be open per city’s web site at this time of year but posted signs from summer still prohibit it. Looks like a way to deter visitors and make beach private.
Beautiful calm place in November with nice bay views.
Short paved walk along park picturesque pond between Park South and Park North.
Nice sanctuary to visit if you happen to be in Tobay beach area. Not worth as separate destination given town’s restrictions… May be quite buggy in summer.

Good for a short stop / walk on Green island before visiting Jones Beach State park. Prime spot for fishing from pier under the bridge.
