Very nice, family friendly pub. Food is good. Not cheap, more of a high end type pub with higher end quality food.
I don't drink but they seem to have good options as my friend had Japanese beer and I'm not sure you can find Japanese beer just anywhere.

Tons of shops located within the airport building.
If your are looking for somewhere to eat within the building (before check in) there are tons and tons of restaurants to choose from. Probably the widest selection anywhere in the world. Tokyo seems to have the most restaurants per square metre of any place I've ever visited though so the wife selection at the airport is a city wide phenomenon.

Only somewhat negative point is that the check in queues are incredibly long. I've never seen such long queues at any airport in the world other than Lagos, Nigeria Airport. If you travelling economy I advise that you get to the airport very early.

One place you just have to visit in London in your lifetime even if just once. You will enjoy the one or two hours of taking pictures with excellent wax figures of celebrities. There is also a short excellent Marvel 4D animation towards the end of the exhibition (though I suspect the 4d movies get updated from time to time so may not necessarily be the same in a few years).
Park size has shrunk significantly to make way for housing but not a bad place for kids to play outdoors.
Good selection of shops and time of places to eat. Quite a number of activity places for the kids. Not necessarily a massive mall for Dubai standards but big for typical standards.
