It’s honestly been a long time since I’ve had an experience like this at a hotel. Since COVID quarantine, most hotel experiences have deteriorated exponentially, with limited (often surly) staff, reduced amenities, and insane prices. My experience here was fantastic from start to finish.
Every single staff member that I encountered was so polite and friendly, from the housekeeping staff that I (literally) ran into in the hallways to the hospitality staff. A standout was Robert at the Beach Club who made our short time at the pool bar so fun and pleasant.
I stayed here for a week for a work event and would come back in a heartbeat. I hesitate to say it, but it’s almost on par with one of my favorite resorts in South Beach, Miami (albeit filled with many more kids, for better or worse). Overall it was a great stay and I was honestly flabbergasted in the best way possible. Very impressed and will definitely return on my next trip to Universal.
