Love the food and coffee here. Top notch! Will definitely come back again.
I appreciate the attentive service, but I'd like to share some feedback on our dining experience. We ordered two Creamy Chicken ramen, Karaage, and Ume onigiri. Unfortunately, the soup in the Creamy Chicken ramen was unexpectedly thin and lacked flavor. The portion of the Karaage was relatively small. On a positive note, the Ume onigiri was enjoyable, especially with the slightly burnt exterior, which added a delightful BBQ flavor.
However, the soup in the ramen was a significant drawback, impacting the overall experience. Additionally, the restaurant was quite crowded, and it was noted that there were no alcoholic drinks available.

I had a fantastic dining experience recently! We started with a bottle of Carte Noire Picpoul de pinet to set the tone.
For our starters, we enjoyed the Chermoula grilled mackerel fillet, served with gunpowder potatoes, spring onions, coriander, and chilies. The King prawn ceviche was another delightful choice, featuring a medley of tomato, lime, cucumber, coriander, guacamole, and crispy fried tortillas.
Moving on to the mains, we savored the Orecchiette pasta with cavolo nero, ricotta, lemon, almonds, and parmesan. The Cod dish was equally impressive, with smashed eggplant, tomato & basil, peas, za'atar yogurt, and a garnish of fresh coriander.
Finally, we indulged in dessert. The Chocolate pot with brandy-soaked prunes, raspberries, and a shortbread biscuit was a delightful treat. And the English strawberries paired beautifully with raspberry sorbet, smashed meringue, Chantilly cream, and a touch of prosecco.
Overall, it was a memorable culinary experience with a perfect combination of flavors and textures. Highly recommended!

Authentic hong kong style restaurant. Loved the beef chow fun and milk tea here. A must-go spot in York!
Nice food and great service! Friendly staff. The pancakes were really good. Love the vibe of the courtyard too.
