After we got checked in to the store, everything was good. The service was quick and great. The tofu was surprisingly delicious. Holy Cow was great as other stores I’ve been too. I’m not sure if I was just hungry but I enjoyed the House Special at this place more than other places I’ve been to. My only complaint is the waiting. We were waiting for an hour to be seated with no status update. It would have been better if we can check where we are in the waiting list so we don’t to wait in-front of the store for that long.
This Lao place offers a good selections of Lao dishes. Their fried meatball was quite good. The meat was not too dried. The sweet and sour sauce went well with the meatball and cabbage on the side. Nam Khao is my favorite lao food, and I've tried it at many places. Nam Khao at this place was a little too sour for me, but I liked the ratio of their peanut and cilantro to the rice. It would have been better if they made it less sour and just added lime on the side.
I would have given this 5 stars if the chips on my last visit were not overcooked. The chip dip might have been overcooked as well but it still tasted so good. The wings were so crispy and very well cooked and seasoned. The chicken dip is my most favorite wing dip in New England. I also tried their house salad and it was very fresh and filling. I like that they have a very simple menu with can be enjoyed by everyone.
