Amalan Dhananjayan (Batzee)

This is located inside Cinnamon Grand Hotel.
As the name says its mostly Noodles, Noodle Soup and some other Chinese options.
We got one of the Ramen Soup and Fried Noodles. I don't remember the exact names.
The Ramen Soup was great. The soup has options to be had as a starter or the main. Based on your selection the prices and content changes. You can check it with the waiters.
The fried noodles we selected are great. Tasted more like a Nasi Goreng. It's of the big Chinese jelly noodles(Sorry I don't know the exact name of the variety) not the traditional noodles we buy and cook in Sri Lanka.

Obviously the price is expensive.

Plenty of Car Park but may get full as it's the common hotel car park.

Highly recommended for Chinese and Noodle lovers.

Visited for the 2nd time.
This time I was disappointed by the food.

It's cold, they put the food we ordered in the oven for 20 seconds and gave.
I think they should have heated for more than 1 min.

Hope to see a better service next time.

This is now located on the 1st floor of the new Durdens Lab building.
They have a good selection of Short eats and Coffee.

Their Coffee shake is really good.
Their Vegetable rolls are Oily.

Prices are little on the Expensive side par with branded bakeries around the country.

They served the food hot.

They have good seating space.

Went for dinner buffet. I would say it's one of the best buffets that has something for everyone.

Indian Corner and Sushi Corner are highlights of the day.

They have a variety of meats and seafood items including whole crabs.

Dessert Corner got a good collection, chocolate fountain, Rum pudding, Cheesecake, Curd, ice cream and the usuals.

The buffet is worth the price here in my opinion.

We ordered a variety of Mock Tail and the Pink Angel gives you the best experience, highly recommended.

Service is good.

I have tried the same restaurant in CCC before. This time they tried their Sushi selections. At Least 3/4 options they had.

The Teriyaki One and the Fried Prawn ones are Great, I did not like the one that came with the Raw fish. Sorry I don't remember their names.

I am not a Sushi person, but for people who are scared or dont like raw stuff I always recommend trying the Sushi which has fried sea food. You may really like it.

Chicken Katsudon is the thing to Go if you dont know whatvto try here.

The things are a bit expensive in this place. Obviously with less decent Japanese places in the City. Recommended if you want to try Japanese dishes.

Before I start, This is an Indian Cuisine but the main items they have are Rice items and Bread(Naan, Parota, Roti) items. Don't expect to get Idly, Dosai and Puri here. But you can find many intersting items from the menu.

You will be served with Tomato Rasam amd Papadam soon as you have arrived. That Tomato rasam is great.

We had Several varieties of Naan and some starters which are kind of a Yoghurt/Curd fries. That fry is called some sort of Kebab is something new I tried and tasted good. Naans are exceptional but smaller than what I expected with my experience with other places I tried.

The atmosphere is great, they have a large seating area divided into 2 parts. Service is exceptional.

Prices are expensive but you cant expect less from a restaurant thats inside a Hotel.
There will be 10% service tax and 20% government levy tax.

Recommended if you want to celebrate a day to remember with your loved ones.
