We were in the area visiting Reclining Liberty at the Museum of Contemporary Art and decided to pick up a nearby geocache and ended up at Quincy Park. What a great place! And there's parking 😁
Nice shaded playground for the youngsters and fields with plenty of open space for soccer (with a net) and softball/baseball.
There is also a recycle center in the corner. All but two photos are from the educational area behind the recycle center. Some of the placards need repair but it's very interesting and educational.

This pool looks great! Hard to resist the shimmering water! The kiddies sure can have a lot of fun on the big blue slide 💙 And let's not forget the baby pool. I bet this place is hoping in the summer‼️
This is an okay little park with some shade but it really doesn't compare to its nearby bigger sister, Benjamin Banneker Park.
This park was a great accidental find. We were at GMU to pick up our "Cache of the Day” on a Wednesday morning in May and decided to get our 4000 steps in the beautiful neighborhood across University Drive. As we walked the neighborhood we saw a path that led to Providence Park. What a nice surprise. We even met a couple of super friendly neighborhood dogs in the park. There are trails for hiking and strolling, and nice playground equipment, and a picnic pavilion, tennis courts, and an open field and a parking lot. What more could you want?
What a nice experience we enjoyed today! So many different levels of climbing activities and of course the staples like swings and slides. This was my first ladybug 🐞 😁, my first Ford truck, and my first train. There's also a basketball court with a regular height basket and a kids height basket and plenty of open space to run and run and run.
