Nice little pottery/ceramics painting studio. When we were there, staff was friendly and helpful. We’ve been to other similar shops before although they were a franchise and prices were pretty in-line with what we were expecting. Thought we’d support the local business here.
So why only 3-stars? We were notified that our daughter’s ceramic creation was ready for pick-up a few days ago and though we’d swing by today. We were, however, turned away. The reason? There was a booked party happening in the room at the *back* of the store (front was empty) and we had to return another time. We were a little puzzled and clarified that we were only picking up and no looking to paint. But nope — denied once again. Apparently that was too much of a burden on their workload.
They should give better instructions about calling first before pick-up to save customers the frustration of being turned away. Or just save yoursef the trouble and head to Crock A Doodle Unionville just a couple of blocks west.
EDIT Response 20240122: "...served exactly when I want to." Classy.
Instead of trying to make me sound entitled, perhaps you can look inwards and refine your own processes like I suggested. Perhaps even remove the "Walk-ins welcome" sticker on your door as that's clearly not the case. As for the party, it was in the back room with nobody/no items out front. And I was not looking to walk in the back of your shop either. I was ~1m into the door just wanted to pick up my daughter's creation which is likely one of the ones in a paper bag and likely labeled on your shelves that typically the store would bring to the customer...y'know to prevent us from rummaging around and inadvertently breaking things. I just wanted to make that clear so you don't think I'm upset because I wasn't being waited on hand and foot.
EDIT 20240123: up’d it to 3-stars as 2 was probably a little harsh.

We ended up here starting from Moccasin Trail Park. Nice little park with lots of beautiful trees and greenery.
We started at the Moccasin Trail Park entrance and took a path that eventually lead us to Wigmore Park. Good hiking trail wil some decent elevation in certain sections. Has a bit of everything: tunnel, bridges, streams (and you may see some fish/salmon as well). Walking in the October we also got to experience a bit of the fall colours. Great trail!
Was here for a HashiConf social. Great venue. I love the architecture.
Chinatown here in SF is quite nice! Very clean and the lanterns are a very nice touch. As one might expect, there are a lot of gift shops clustered mostly around the first couple of streets but as you go deeper into Chinatown, you’ll see a larger variety of shops.
