Moccasin Trail Park

Small park nestled in the Don Valley next to the DVP. Some free parking available but space is limited. There’s some picnic tables and some public access grills, however no restroom facilities. Beautiful and peaceful little lake with lots of wildlife milling about. Sound pollution is a bit bothersome as it is right next to the DVP, however it’s a nice spot to get a moment of peace. Trails form part of the greater Toronto multi-use trail network.

Amazing for running. If you run early from 5-6 am, then hardly ever see anyone. Very peaceful and serene.

The trail is amazing approx 3+ Km.
If you don’t like too much sun the trail has good canopy of trees covering the trail with good shade.

We started at the Moccasin Trail Park entrance and took a path that eventually lead us to Wigmore Park. Good hiking trail wil some decent elevation in certain sections. Has a bit of everything: tunnel, bridges, streams (and you may see some fish/salmon as well). Walking in the October we also got to experience a bit of the fall colours. Great trail!

This is a well-developed trail just off the Shops at Don Mills.

The trail has undergone construction and is well-paved.

It is a mix of forest and open field. You can see beautiful fall colours.

It is nice to hike in whatever season.

Beautiful park with a long scenic trail along the river, perfect for a walk and cycling with kids. It is close to the highway so this may not be the best option if you're looking for a quiet place to walk. Parking is free but does not have a lot of space.

Perfect place for walking, jogging or riding. Place is big enough for bike riding. Safe , clean and full of greenary. This place is also good for fall colors. I enjoyed my riding a lot over there. If you are planning to go there by car no worries it also has car parking area.
