I love this place. The food is good, great atmosphere, and the family is welcoming. Check out their grocery store just a few steps down too
Had everything I needed and beyond. Cassava bread, mackerel, snacks, seasonings, dry fish, you name it. Pop your head in!
You get what you pay for. The apartment is fairly decent for the price. Along with the two pools, on site management and the gym.
Very spacious living room but the kitchen is SMALL and horribly designed. There is laughable kitchen storage. Lastly, hot water also goes out often and takes 1-2 days to come back.
As for the complex, the location is ehh; you’re right near the freeway which is loud and busy in the mornings, but also accessible. But then you’re on the border of Garland and all that Garland entails... throw in the train stop and people blasting music at 3am and leaving trash everywhere. There is litter and trash everywhere all the time. Cigarettes, random cups, take out containers, you name it.
Management…..I think they do their best. “Emergency” Maintenance team is somewhat quick? (3 hours to arrive when I reported a water leak).
If you shop online often, opt for the second or third floor. Otherwise you won’t find your m packages when you get home because people STEAL here.

$20 cover charge gave me one of the best nights I’ve had in Dallas! The girl making the drinks that night wanted me dead. (Drinks are strong)
Friendly staff that approaches you as soon as you seat yourself. It’s equipped with a full bar, and a very cute bartender who will keep you company if desired. The tacos come in a combo of four for $10 which is reasonable for their quality. You’re also served with different sauces to enjoy them with.
However, be honest with yourself about the level of spice you can handle with the sauces, because I was not and I was fighting for my life after mixing all of them. Regardless, I had a five star experience.
