I love this place. The food is good, great atmosphere, and the family is welcoming. Check out their grocery store just a few steps down too
My cool bro in law from Nigeria received his US Citizenship 🇺🇸 so we celebrated nicely & finely! Delish Egusi, chapati, jollof rice and lots of awesome drinks! Music 🎶 and fellowship, we related with a long chat up well, and took The Lord’s Day with thankfulness…. 🙏🙏🏽🙏🏿

God bless Texas! ❤️ And God bless 🇺🇸 America, my home sweet home! Indeed! 🤠

We had a large group that was coming from the Dallas Bachata Festival after taking a workshop on the African roots of Latin dance. They opened up after hours just for us, fed us lots of very delicious food, and treated us wonderfully.

I'm in love with the okra, goat soup with the yam fufu, and talk about the owner she is amazing with the customer service. Highly recommend. Will definitely come back

Very good experience. Ephraim was extremely helpful as it was my first time trying African food. Clean, quaint and the food was good. Im unsure what the going prices are for this cuisine but my tab was $42 which seemed a tad pricey.

Love the environment; welcoming to the culture. Food is great portion for the cost. Bold in taste. I got the Eguis Soup and Fufu.

For 2 meals is came out to be about $60 which is AMAZING !!! The food taste so authentic , it’s cooked upon order so everything is Hot and fresh . and we NEVER have a problem with the food . If you don’t know what to get I’d recommend the Egusi with assorted meat (right corner in the picture below) or the Eru with goat (left corner in the picture below) the Egusi is a very flavorful and is my go to . If you’d like something with spice go with the Eru . The Eru is a spinach dish that has a spicy kick of flavor with just enough spiciness - not to overwhelming …..and both of those come with yam fufu . We drove 45 minutes just to get to African village and it was well worth it EVERYONE is welcomed and the workers will explain to you what the dishes are if you are a first timer . if I could give more than 5 stars I would .
