Place Pigalle

Been wanting to try a French restaurant for bouillabaisse and heard this place served a decent one. Made reservations a week prior for a 6pm dinner. I heard the place can be difficult to find, but with the bustle of Pike's market dying down for the day we were was able to find the sign to the place on the left side of the famous fish market. When we arrived the restaurant was around half full. We were given the option to sit inside or outside, but since it was still bright and hot we opted for inside. It can get pretty cramped in there and while seated near a window, we were pretty close to another table.

Noise levels were a bit high as it was a bit difficult to hear from the waiter what the specials were for the day. I already wanted the bouillabaisse and spouse decided on the halibut. We ordered bread to munch on and had some Arnold palmers (which were surprisingly quite sweet) while waiting. The bouillabaisse was overloaded with various seafoods (crab, shrimp, calamari, fish, clams and mussels) in a tomato-saffron broth. Was very rich but delicious and could barely finish the meal. The halibut was a large portion with a side of veggies. My spouse enjoyed this as it had a light taste and wasn't too rich.

As evening went by the place started to fill up more and become louder. Overall the food was good and had decent service, but would have preferred a more spacious atmosphere.
Himalayan Restaurant

Restaurant is located in the village. The place is quite large with several dining areas. It was busy, however we were seated promptly. Ordered chicken momo, himalayan mixed grill (came with garlic naan), chicken tikka masala, and rice. The mixed grill was very filling as it came with two types of chicken, shrimp and lamb. I wasn't expecting the tikka masala to be yellow and a bit sweet, however I liked it. We had a lot of food with leftovers to take back. Service was okay and food came out quickly. Overall was a good experience and if craving himalayan/Indian food in the area would stop here again.
Pacific Catch

Stopped by for dinner on an early weekday and had no issue getting a table. The menu has a wide variety of seafood options (fried, grilled, raw, etc.) as well as meat dishes. We had the sticky ribs as an appetizer. I ordered the ahi chirashi and my spouse ordered the mixed catch. Sticky ribs were flavorful (had a sweet/salty sauce) but a bit chewy. They were messy, but our waiter planned ahead and gave us plenty of wet wipes to clean our fingers. My chirashi bowl was huge! Came with 2 types of poke, slices of seared ahi, seaweed salad and spicy cucumbers. This was on a huge bed of sushi rice that I could not finish. The mixed catch had a variety of fried seafood and several sauces accompanied it. From what was ordered we felt the quality and price was reasonable. Our waiter checked up often and gave us drink refills without us asking.

There were other interesting things on the menu I'd like to try (grilled seafood) so would like to stop by again.
I've been to the stores in Hawaii, but this was my first time visiting the Vegas store. There are samples available to try if unsure on what to get. I'm just happy I could create a box of my favorite cookies to take home. I also picked up one of the Vegas souvenir boxes as it is exclusive to the store. Staff working there were nice and helpful.
Mitsuru Cafe

This place sometimes eludes me since the last few times I've been down here the shop is closed (currently only opened 4 days a week). However I finally was able to come here when it is opened and there was a huge line! This place is so popular that even after ordering imagawataki I had to wait another 30 min (other snacks on a stick have no wait). Prices have gone up, but taste and quality is the same. My only regret was buying just 4 knowing I had to wait this long.
