One of the best seafood meal we have had so far in Edinburgh. We ordered the seafood platter, as recommended by the manager, together with half a dozen of oysters, and we enjoyed everything there.
A whole lobster, two grilled king prawns, a couple of mussel pots with different sauces and two pieces of scallops were included in the seafood platter. They were all fresh and tasty. The lobster was pleasantly firm in texture and well-grilled with garlic butter; both of the mussel pots were great, flavourful sauces which didn’t overshadow the freshness of mussels themselves.
The oysters came before the platter and they were of good quality as well, smelled fresh, subtly briny, smooth and soft in texture. Loved the desserts and I recommend the Seville pudding which was complimented by a nice orange marmalade and vanilla custard. Great sherry we had with the desserts, and the staff was so kind to, apart from the one we ordered, offer a sample of the other two on the menu for us to taste.

We were instantly amazed by the starters. The feta kadaifi was made with very refined strands of pastry, filled with feta cheese and topped with sesame and honey, so it brought a great mix of both texture (crispy shredded pastry and soft cheese) and flavour. And the fava with olive oil was pleasantly savoury and nutty, very appetising.
For the main courses, we had the lamb shank which was really well-cooked, and the meat was very tender and juicy; the creamy sauce / soup was a subtle and good compliment that didn’t overshadow the taste of the lamb. And then, for a Greek meal, you just can’t go wrong with mousaka, the one we had was simply flavourful.
We ended our lunch with the nice baklava and coffees. The staff (probably the owner) was super friendly. He told us there would be live music performances on Sundays that is worth checking out as well.

This is a restaurant situated in a cave, a setting that visitors to Cappadocia would definitely be fond of. And we had the best meal of the trip in Türkiye here.
Both the mains we had - the lamb pottery kebab and chicken shish kebab were excellent. The meats were well marinated, juicy and tender in texture. We tried pottery kebab several times and this one at Wooden Spoon was the tastiest and smelt the best.
We loved the lentil soup and rice pudding as well. Some rice puddings we had elsewhere tasted like custard puddings, and the one here was a little bit different, with a stronger taste of milk and more distinctive texture of rice.

We stayed in the Sultan Cave Suites so we tried both the dinner and breakfast at Seten. Food we had was good overall, service was acceptable yet not really professional as others might have pointed out.
We had dinner here once and the highlight was the wine and muhammara, a reddish and really tasty dip made of roasted pepper and walnut, with a smoky note I found it more appetizing than typical hummus. For main courses we had a lamb pottery kebab and an oxtail tandoori. The oxtail was surprisingly juicy and tender, while the lamb was flavourful yet slightly overcooked.
We loved the Tahini Souffle as dessert. It looked like a cake with a solid coat, yet there was the fluidic tahini underneath and this combination made it so rich in taste and texture.
The breakfast was fine though less impressive, still there was a good range of choices for pastry, cold cut and salad, and hot egg dishes were available upon request.
The apparent drawback here would be the level of service. Most of the staff here were either inattentive or amateurish except a couple of more experienced-looking waiters. I visited outside of the peak season so it turned out not much an issue with me, though it might be a concern during the busiest months.

The best coffee we had in our one-week trip in Paris. Both the single-origin black coffee and cappuccino tasted great - distinctive notes of the beans. We just shared one sweet pancake as we already had some other food beforehand. It was a whole wheat pancake in good texture, with honey, cream and caramalised fruits on the side, well mixed. A really busy cafe and tables were packed so it does not offer you the most relaxed environment, if that’s your concern.
