Such a gorgeous park! My friend and I stopped in to see the tulips and to walk around after getting off work last week and the gardens were spectacular. I hope to visit earlier next year to see even more in bloom.
The view at night from here is just spectacular. Somehow I always missed walking here during the daytime, but at night time, it’s absolutely gorgeous looking out and seeing Rome and the bustling city streets. I would not want to go down the steps though when it’s raining, they’re worn and a bit uneven.
This is basically one of the last oases in existence and I’m beyond glad that it does because I super had to go to the bathroom on the way to Galena. The women’s restroom was very clean, and I loved being able to check out some brochures and watch the traffic go by.
We used to do that all the time when I was a kid, so it was actually a pretty nostalgic rest stop.

Stunning. Absolutely stunning waterfall. I have never seen anything like this in my whole entire life. It’s absolutely breathtaking to see. We went early this morning to check it out and I have zero regrets. Unforgettable experience for sure. There’s a bit of limited parking, so make sure you get there early enough before the parking lot fills up or you’ll be circling for a bit.
This was incredible to see. The views are just spectacular, and I was absolutely in awe standing here taking everything in. I recommend going up top and checking everything out as well as going downstairs and seeing the historic info. The gift shop has some amazing finds in it, and I found some great gifts for my family to bring back East with me.
