Fabulously beautiful and invigorating, despite the rain!
We made reservations for lunch at the Historic Lodge Restaurant. We had no wait, and they were able to accommodate our request for a table with a view. Honestly, though, the are no bad views at any table! Charming dining room, and great food. Our meals were served pretty quickly, and the service was great. They even put candles on my sister's dessert for her birthday!
I definitely recommend this spot for a special meal! Next time I'm going to call to make sure that the bar is open, so we can enjoy a hot drink by the fire!

this place is SO stunning! the hike up to the bridge over the waterfall is a pretty easy hike, it is paved so that helps a lot. Things are kind of wet and slippery (of course) so wear the right shoes! I took my dog and he enjoyed it. You may have a hard time finding parking, though. The park across the street is nice too, its so beautiful along the Columbia River
Stunning. Absolutely stunning waterfall. I have never seen anything like this in my whole entire life. It’s absolutely breathtaking to see. We went early this morning to check it out and I have zero regrets. Unforgettable experience for sure. There’s a bit of limited parking, so make sure you get there early enough before the parking lot fills up or you’ll be circling for a bit.
Incredible waterfalls with virtually no effort. Finding parking is more effort than the short walk to the falls! The parking lot off the Interstate exit is large. The parking lot off the scenic highway 30 is much smaller. This parking lot is one way entering the west end. If you miss that, it’s a bit of a drive to find a turnaround.
Despite the parking situation, this is a must see!!! You can enjoy the view from the bottom platform or take the Larch Mountain Trail up to the iconic concrete bridge span. On site is a restaurant, gift shop, restrooms, and an USFS information center.

Went here during our vacation. While we typically write food reviews on here - I wanted to personally share that these Falls are hyped about a lot in social circles and we finally got the opportunity to go and see if the hype was real.
It definitely was. These falls are absolutely beautiful but be prepared for a hike! The sounds and beauty is the falls is sublime and we highly recommend this to anyone traveling that has the opportunity to go check them out. We spent a little over an hour, a mile and some change up the falls trail and stopped right as the guardrails went away before returning. Would recommend that distance as plenty to be able to get the full enjoyment out of Mulnomah Falls.

I absolutely LOVE coming to Multnomah Falls every time I visit Oregon. It's such a dream wonderland. Lovely hiking trail. The restaurant makes good food. And lots to choose from at the gift shop. There is a cool information booth with a walk through little display area that talks about the mountain and animals that live there. I highly recommend this as a stop if you are in the area and have never been. 😉 I will include pictures from the beautiful area. But nothing compares to being able to see it in person.
This place is famous for a reason: it's spectacular and beautiful. This would be best (double)waterfall along the Columbia Gorge area. However because of that, there are so many people here anytime and kind of crowded. Fortunately there are plenty of parking spots and the trolley also makes frequent stops here, and most people just spend like half an hour(of course you can spend and explore the area for hours and hours if you want). The waterfalls are in very short walking distance to the road. And if you want, you can also hike up more(like over a mile). Even more, you can hike to other waterfalls nearby too. Waterfalls are great and worth to visit. There are nice and clean restroom here too, with a gift shop and cafe on site.
