This was extremely quiet and clean, with a virtual assistant on a Saturday. The sale had very affordable books. The children's area still has toys and puzzles, but seemingly, fewer than at other libraries.

This library is beautiful and clean but not at all quiet the staff are loudest people here. Every time I come theres someone screaming. Ive seen 2&3 year olds here with better manners

This library has done quite a turn over in the past few years. Physically it has undergone so much change with money donated. It is beautiful, multifloored and has lots of events for kids and adults. There is a lot of place to sit and relax to do your work or read etc. love the plant collection is beautiful and makes it very nature focused and relaxing. I just wish they had more books in the collection. Lastly, really dislike that they have not reverted back to opening on Sundays! It would be really helpful for those that need to study etc. Please reconsider

I'm glad the library has opened backup to the public. My daughters needed a place to go that wasn't around food or toys. I'm also glad the library has gone to remove fines for local books. I'd wish I took advantage of reading more when I was their ages. Plus taking them gives me time to spend with them and memories.

This is another one of my favorite locations in Bergen County. The staff often comes off as prejudiced and unfriendly. Years ago, they used to have an older white male security guard that would literally stare and pick on black/brown kids. I was in high school at the time and I would feel so uncomfortable because he was constantly watching my siblings and I while we were on the computer doing homework. There'd be little white kids running around and he wouldn't say a thing to them. I remember one time asking him to please have the kids quiet down because they were disturbing everyone, literally running around and playing- not doing work. His reply was that the kids have a right to be there until their parents picked them up. I was so happy when he stopped working there. Apparently a lot of kids walked across the street from the school and the library was basically an aftercare for late pickup. But, this shouldn't be an issue anymore with the pandemic going on.
But besides that, the library is usually not overcrowded. There's a fair amount of computers both upstairs and downstairs. The library is always clean and has nice areas /tables to study. Great parking lot and entrances in the front and back of the building.

Very well maintained library. Clean, quiet and orderly. Unfortunately it doesn't offer the full benefits of other libraries. This is the only library that doesn't keep a house flash drive at the front desk for those that need to scan. First and hopefully last library that isn't equipped with a $5 flash drive available for it's patrons.
