Really great service, accommodating to changes to make dishes vegetarian. I would try the new restaurant where the Dial used to be. The arrancini are delicious. Unfortunately, we found most of the food very average. We tried the arrancini, salmón crudo, calamari friti, shaved Brussels salad, kale Caesar, gnocchi, rigatoni, fettuccine, margarita pizza, pepperoni pizza, nduja pizza, and cocktails. The pizzas were soggy flatbread style. The pasta was rich but not super complex. The salads weren’t filled and the blue cheese dominated the flavor of the shaved Brussels, the salmón crudo is quite small.
Honeycomb Creamery

This is an okay new-age ice cream shop like a Jeni’s or Van Leeuwen’s so if you like those places and are by Harvard or Porter Square, it’s as close as you’ll get. There isn’t a lot of seating and the line moves very slowly and inefficiently. The creamery has a very odd smell. I tried the blond cheesecake and strawberry rose gateau ice creams. There were just okay. It’s priced quite high for even a kiddie scoop. There are nice vegan options.
The Gin Bar

Fun two-story bar for gin cocktails and vibes. The bartenders can get overwhelmed with large groups but otherwise we had a great time. There is a slight speakeasy feel as you need to walk to the back to enter.
Chinatown Dubai Mall

Great decor. It’s on somewhat of an offshoot of the mall so if you’re coming from the main portion you’re best to double back.
Blacklight Mini Golf

It’s new but already has that run down mini golf feel. There isn’t a lot of space between holes to stand. the black light makes the balls look cool. It takes a little over an hour when it’s crowded.
