So we were staying nearby and this was close and walkable to get to.
Unfortunately we were disappointed being a GIN bar 🍻 the gin was not that good for favours our cocktails🍹 were quiet bland and underwhelming.
Also the barman didn't really seem to have any patience when enquiring to each cocktail 🍹
Also you have to go for a cafe to get to the gin bar unless it's owned by the same guy I'm not sure just strange .
Overall it was a bit disappointing as we did have better gin cocktails 🍹 in the town centre.

I saw this place weeks ago before my holiday and marked as a “must visit” stop. I admired and loved the ambiance and the soft music 🎶 in the background allowing for conversions.
I went with the intention to try one or two gins of the same kind. I wind up trying 3 different cocktails! I did the HOPE, HEAD & SOUL and if you wish, open the book to view all their selected spirits, wines and mixers. The flavours were all delightful and I plan to return very soon. The bartenders were personable, friendly and welcoming when I mentioned that is was my first visit to the Gin Bar. This is a must visit place if you or your friends are a fan of Gin. You will not regret it!

The Gin Bar left an indelible mark with the service offered the drinks prepared by the amazing bartender and the history of this place being a former mortuary speaks volumes for the ambience for patrons! Winding stairs lead to upstairs and hand made chocolates and baked goods sold downstairs as you walk into the Gin Bar. Sadly it closes early so we could only purchase a few chocolates!! The beverages were exceptional with team members pleased with their beer options whilst the team member who is a Gin aficionado found the Gin Bar on Goggle and taxi driver never heard of it but took us directly there as the address was known! One of my favourite spots for a meet-cute or hangout. The drinks are great, the bartenders know what they're doing and the vibe is always immaculate. You could grab one of the headline drinks but mixing and matching is fun too.
Fun two-story bar for gin cocktails and vibes. The bartenders can get overwhelmed with large groups but otherwise we had a great time. There is a slight speakeasy feel as you need to walk to the back to enter.
Great little gem right behind a pastries/chocolate shop and coming alive at night. It’s possible to stay outdoors in an inner courtyard for the occasional smokers or wind lovers; and inside there’s a variety of rooms decorated in a different way with both choices of ground floor, if you prefer to be close to the bar and a mezzanine for more privacy. The cocktails are great, everything is good but of course go for one of the gin specials! Highly recommended!
The best gin bar in CapeTown has a huge assortment, cool, unpretentious interior. Great drinks! Go there!
