I want to go back to the movies but this is why it's tough to expect the industry to rebound:
- Waited 10mins for a pretzel
- it was forgotten about or given to another patron
- Had to wait again for a new one.
+ Staff was apologetic, things happen
- Nacho cheese was cold at this point
- Late to seats
+ Movie had not started yet
- The movie never started
+ Manager finally came in
- but announces a 30minute wait
+ Offered refunds and either a different movie today
+ Took the refund and were given additional passes which was fair.
This is what kept it a 4/5 instead of 3 so props to the manager who did their best with the situation.
All in all the staff did what they could, but seems like unexpected or lackluster attention to detail is why the industry is suffering here vs. places like the Alamo.
