I frequent this place regularly (pretty much since 2018), so I can say that the place hasn't changed much over the years for better and for worse.
Pros:
1) The good chairs are comfy.
2) I like the popcorn here.
3) When Spider-Verse 2 was canceled due to a breaker shutting down the entire movie theater, we got free tickets to use another day. As such, management will do what's needed to keep customers satisfied (besides fixing the chairs).
4) Tickets are cheaper on Tuesday if you're a Regal Crown Club member ($6.50 if you have the free account).
Cons:
1) Most seats are pretty torn up. It's pretty bad. Some of their respective desks for food are also pretty worn down.
2) Some screens need to be cleaned. It's a luck of the draw to get the right screen (usually I get lucky with the good screens, however).
As such, this place is pretty good if you can grab a good seat in a good theater. That being said, the chairs REALLY need to be fixed. Malls are kinda dead, but the theater can still be improved upon.
Edit: As of 11/11/2023, Theater 6's seats and screen are in solid shape. It does look like problematic elements are getting fixed as needed, so that's definitely a great sign. As such, upping the score to 4/5.

I’m your typical extra-polite-at-businesses Gen-Z and literally never leave reviews, so the fact I’m even typing this speaks for itself. I can put up with the torn up leather seats and the ticket guy looking down and ignoring me when I smiled and said hi, but the interferences with the movie experience were too much. There’s a big grainy spot on the right side of the screen in theater 1, which was super distracting and took away from the movie. Anytime it’s on someone’s face, it makes them look grainy/sparkly. Also, the two employees coming in to clean at the end came in 15 minutes early and spent that entire time talking to each other, *inside* the theater, during a very quiet movie that we’d been building up to the ending of for 3.5 hours (killers of the flower moon). I worked at a movie theater for years so I’ve been on the other side of things and am usually very forgiving when it comes to inconveniences at theaters, but these were all issues of neglect and laziness. I also see several other reviewers mentioning the damaged screens, so you’d think they would have addressed the issue by now and stopped showing movies in those theaters until it can be fixed, instead of charging people for watching something blurry. This place is a mess, genuinely shocked at how it has any positive reviews.

The best place to go watch a good movie, Oppenheimer, I just love how comfortable the seating is, there is lots of space, and reasonably priced snacks. The theatre itself has excellent sound and views from anywhere.

This is a local favorite for movies that always has drink and popcorn available and plenty of screens for movies. Sadly this movie theater is showing its age due to the leather recliners being thoroughly worn out and the screens having bright spots on them. This has been an issue for years, but it seems they don't view it as an issue. It ruins the movie when it's a dark scene and there are overly bright spots ruining the scene. Okay for a movie, but they need to review their screens and seating and make repairs where needed.

I want to go back to the movies but this is why it's tough to expect the industry to rebound:
- Waited 10mins for a pretzel
- it was forgotten about or given to another patron
- Had to wait again for a new one.
+ Staff was apologetic, things happen
- Nacho cheese was cold at this point
- Late to seats
+ Movie had not started yet
- The movie never started
+ Manager finally came in
- but announces a 30minute wait
+ Offered refunds and either a different movie today
+ Took the refund and were given additional passes which was fair.
This is what kept it a 4/5 instead of 3 so props to the manager who did their best with the situation.
All in all the staff did what they could, but seems like unexpected or lackluster attention to detail is why the industry is suffering here vs. places like the Alamo.

This place gone so far downhill, which is sad because I remember it being a really nice theater when it first opened. Seats are extremely worn and pretty gross looking. Something was wrong with the screen/projection as it had a huge bright (almost sparkly looking) spot in the middle of the screen which, in my opinion, was very distracting and severely affected the quality of the film being shown. There are so many better theaters in the area, I will not be returning here despite it being so close to where I live. Super disappointing.

One of the best theaters in the area to catch a movie at with the added benefit of being at the Dulles town center, you have access to all other kinds of entertainment and dinning options for a meal before or after a movie, this location also has plenty of parking and is easy to get in and out of.
