We felt so peaceful and exclusive here on a Friday afternoon in early April. Took a shuttle ride from Renaissance. No crowds. Not much going on along the beach here as there are only a few sandy patches to waddle and dip. More activities can be observed along neighboring beaches. More to explore if you walk along. We enjoyed our drinks, the lounge Ibiza vibe house music, and sun bathed until the evening shuttle ride back to the hotel for dinner so didn’t get a chance to try the seafood here. Warm and friendly service team. Quite shiok.
One of the most beautiful hotel bars we’ve ever experienced. The view is incredible. Service is top notch. DJ plays the occasional house music through a very “airy” sound system due to the reflective vastness of the space. The atmosphere is grandiose. The food and snacks selection, prepared by Clay Craft is delicate and compliments the awesomeness of it all. Love the generously filled delicately crispy spring rolls. Super shiok.
Curry puffs are packed full with ingredients although slightly dry but delicious. Prawn fritter has two meaty prawns. Shiok.
Back again and again. To me Ninja Mama is a great example of a hidden gem and an underdog. They only offer familiar local favorites but do them so well. Great dry mee siam with nice meaty prawns, prob the same prawns used on their fritter, and nasi lemak with solid lemak rice, sambal greens and tender chicken wings. Awesome sambal chilli sauce. Fish balls are soft and bouncy. Prawn ball not very good. Today’s prawn fritters are so fresh, crispy and awesome. Shiok.

Easily almost one of the best char siew I have ever tasted. Subtly complex yet kinda unique five spice marinade with a faint hint of charcoal. Both lean and fatty parts equally flavorful but not as melt-in-the-mouth tender as I would like but still absolutely enjoyable. The tofu is also damn shiok. The claypot pork with salted fish is great but too salty and have to go with rice. Service team is awesome. All very shiok.
Good satisfying bowls of Mentaiyaki Tamago and Ebi Kaisendon set meals. Loved the charred aburi smell aroma of the food and around the kitchen. The miso soup had salmon pieces in it too! Friendly and prompt service completed the casual but enjoyable experience. Shiok.
Returned again for more salmon mentaiyaki, salmon belly and unagi goodness. But I will skip the Yakitori. This branch although tiny gets almost everything right. The chef takes pride in his culinary skills. Shiok!
Back again for lunch. Value sets and generous portion for 2 pax under $40. Todays saba, sashimi cuts, steamed gyoza and soup were awesome. Shiok.
