They are unresponsive either on call or email. I had to wait for my car so long that it went out of registration. The insurance was care free as to if I was spending on renting a car or paying fines to RTA as my car went over registration waiting in their garage because they want to cash us. As non-wealthy people to spend their entire savings to buy a car and loose it for lesser than half payment of car is better than nothing. As an expat I would rely on government for further proceedings than this company which is giving a shady deal.
It is very unpleasant that we have to give at least 1 star, because they deserve worst of the reviews and rating.

RAK insurance is a public scam and shame for UAE insurance market. I urge Insurance Authority of UAE to put a check and balance on them.

They keep customers waiting for months (even for third party claims) and in the end offer less than half the market value for total loss vehicle.

It is impossible to get on call with the claims department, they never call back nor do they reply to your emails.

I hope they get fined and banned by the authorities.
VERY POOR SERVICE?? My car had an accident more than 2 months ago and the car is still not fixed. The Emirates transport workshop Ajman is waiting for RAK approval to do the job. We keep on calling the customer service but no one follow up or calling back.
You will directly feel that the call center is a different company and they are not allowed to divert the cases and calls to their supervisor because its forbidden, they just send requests to the accident department which they never call you back or feed you about your claim approval status, what a poor company...
POOR SERVICE! My car had an accident 2 months ago and the car is still not fixed. The garage is waiting for RAK approval to do the job. We keep on calling the customer service but no one follow up or calling back. We went to the office and they said they will send the approval in the evening, but up to this day nothing is confirmed. No approval received by the garage. While my car registration is already expired and we need this rectification to renew the registration. What a disappointment!!!
Having insurance with RAKINSURANCE is like not having an insurance at all! They are apparently notorious to find every excuse to reject your claim. I can now confirm this out of my own experience. When you challenge their decision they just don't respond. You call the claims department but you are put through to their customer care service who promise that the claims department would get back to you within 1 day and no one ever does.
You are better off with a different insurance company. I should have read their reviews before opting for this company.
They will never approve your claim of rain disaster or your own damage so never purchase comprehensive insurance or i will suggest never buy anything from rak insurance, the worst motor insurance and customer service I ever had and experienced. I will never suggest this insurance to anybody , They can only be contacted through email, which takes a week for them to reply. I submitted a claim but need to wait for several weeks to get approval. Considering that I paid for a full, comprehensive policy and never received good customer service from them. I'm being generous by giving them 1 star. They don't even deserve to have a star on the review.
Posted this Review around 22 May: Using this Company from Past 3-4 Years & Finally When I have to do a motor Claim they are not responding. I'm Chasing them from last 8-9 days. No reply on email , Extension 132 sudeep not answering, Extension 581 Always escalating urgent issue but no help also. Definitely not going to take this insurance company again & I will suggest other People also not to take insurance from them. This is worsted company I have worked for but its not dubai branch. It's the Bangalore branch who is totally not responsible enough to take an business. I joined this company in the month of Feb 2024, and worked for 2 months, got terminated without any prior notice just by receiving an message through whatsapp. They get high amount of brokerage but pay in penny. In that I have not received my full month salary for Feb and to my notice I understood that even if the company is not able to provide ontime training they will deduct the salary of an employee by saying we are not in production to pay in full. Completely frustrated and disappointed in wasting my time with this company. A important notice to the hiring authorities please don't waste other time because they value it unless like you people. Never ever try joining here and spoil your mental health. You have to request every month for salary as like literal slavery. They paid my salary through cred which is the funny part. You cannot prove your employment with them through any mean. Please be careful and do not play with you valuable career by joining them. Thanks to Revathy and GS for spoiling my career. The worst motor insurance and customer service I ever had and experienced. There is no direct number to call the concerned person or department. They can only be contacted through email, it's been 15 days still there is no response from them.

I'm contacted with garage they till me we was sent report for insurance to approval but they still not replayed ( report sent to insurance befor 2 weeks )
I can't express enough my disappointment, considering that I paid for a full, comprehensive policy and never received good customer service from them. I'm being generous by giving them 1 star. They don't even deserve to have a star on the review.
Reimbursement claim is given within 15 to 20 working day as committed by the insurance.Thanks to Ms Sofia for her sincere support and effort.

I have cancelled the insurance 3 months back and ever since I have been following up with them. Till now I have not received my refund. I thought this issue is only for me but now after seeing all other negative reviews I can see they are doing this to all of their customers.

Even after their reply in this platform, i have not received a single phone call or received any emails or confirmations.
I have been dealing with this company since 10 years, their service level is excellent. Mr. Meeran is always commitment oriented and serve us at any time for our needs. Haven't met this guy so far but trustable to deal with him.

Was working with Shreya. She was amazing, fast in responses, professional and really helpful. We got 4 policies and it was so easy thanks to Shreya, because other companies were asking too many weird questions just to share quotation. But here we got all we wanted in a timely manner and with great customer service .

Ms.Carol is the senior officer - customer service who assisted me with the whole process of getting the best insurance for my car.

Not professional, poor quality
This is the worst insurance card there is. Need GP referral. I had my hand cut at home and i was loosing blood. Even in this severe situation the demanded GP referral. There should be at least a common sense to take us directly to a surgeon during this situation. I had to wait 3 hours to get the approval for surgeon and an additional 1 day to get the stitching procedure approval. Needless to say they don't even have All the medicines covered in this insurance. I am really not at all impressed. The worst insurance there is.
this company is fooling their clients always has issues on covering the medical treatments or medicines. Mostly when i come to hospitals i'm getting information that my insurance has been suspended then call center tells me that it has been fixed and again same story.
My main concern is that i submitted reimbursement form with 3675 aed that supposed to be covered 100% as per call center but i got approved only 2310 aed and since 1 month they are not paying even that amount when i call their accountants they are saying that they are not going to pay as they have some internal issues. i have all documents as a prove that Pentacare has to pay me and i'm going to complaint to all legal authorities to make them pay
very poor service this insurance company , much more time medicine approval is cancel .i visit too much medical store and hospital ,aster hospital ,tumbay hospital ,rak hospital orabi hospital ,all are rejected ,all medical and hospital seen the card he is telling no move other hospital,.
Everything with this company takes forever.
Normally discharge happens within 3 hours but with Penta Care it took 7 hours to be discharged due to their continuous back and forth with the hospital.
Hospitals continuously suspend PentaCare.

And if that’s not worse, they’ll reject things often.
As someone admired to an emergency room, why is it that I pay for the Cardiac Monitor? Shameless.
Never ever go to them.Even if your company provides you this insurance.Report to them as because almost all hospitals which they list in there brochure removed them from their services.So you can only go to some pathetic clinics.If you read this comment.Please realize and stay away.Thank you
Such a cheap insurance i have ever had. I have kidney stone. I took medication for several days then I I went for urine test as well. It is clearly mention in that report that there are crystals coming in my urine. My doctor attached that report and medications I have used and ask for approval of ultrasound but they rejected without any valid reason I will never recommend this sort of cheap and best insurance save your money and look for other better options.
We have Penta care - Dar Al Takaful insurance. It is a third class policy we ever had. Always there will be an issue with pharmacy and they always reject all the prescribed medicines which usually get approved in the other insurance which is in the equal category. And even they approve definitely they will replace it with cheapest of the cheapest medicine. Other issue. if we go to One hospital they will give a replacement which will be available only other hospitals pharmacy networks only. finally will end up paying cash and buying it. One Mr. Satish is the point of contact in pentacre and he never resolved these issues and now he is not attending any of our issues. example of worst customer service and he just want to get the business. Thats it. That is the simple motto. Friends please dont take this policy , if you take you will be in trouble. sure
I wanted to get information about insurance plans and was redirected to this service provider. I don't particularly have a problem with the service provider so much as I don't with their wealth managers. One of the wealth manager accused us of wasting his time when we had decided to go another direction. He was rude and complained about how he had to drive to get to us and had to spend on Salik and how it was a waste of his time. We respectfully declined the offer as we were comparing our options. If you choose to work with them, I hope you are not directed to this particular manager with a terrible attitude to rejection.
Changed my rating from 1 star to 4 star because of those staff (Gypsy, Jeff, Joshua and Aj) who helped me to resolve the issue even it took time/days to be resolved. Good customer service skills will really help. Only 4 star coz unfortunately not all of their staff possess that skills.
