Way too small for it's capacity. When operating at busy times theres no where to sit, with one small/expensive duty free shop, one cafe with about 30 people in line constantly and one restaurant. Lounge had about 20 people waiting in line constantly and was full. Really crap airport. Security line and speed was the only quick thing.
I would describe this aiport as unorganised, slow-paced, tiresome and lacking in communication.

There's only 1 coffee corner past security, of which the queue is about 30-50 men strong at all times. The gates leave almost no room for queueing, and there are far too few seats around to sit down.

The staff is relatively friendly.

Quiet day and absolutely chaos. Either there was nobody managing the airport or they are completely incompetent. All that was needed was some communication and a half decent manager to make some decisions and communicate. In the end the passengers helped each other to do the managements job

A small airport with stunning views
A very small airport. Very interesting and entertaining. Not the regular. You do get a stunning view when you land there. The security officer was not too polite. But it is rather easy to get there considering Tyrol has a great public transportation system.

Chiara and Manuela, who welcome you to the Priority Pass Lounge, are absolutely one of the biggest reasons to come to Innsbruck. Not just to the lounge or the airport, but the town itself.

When you approach the counter they are smiley and pleasant and eager to welcome you.

For families with kids they tell you about the almost invisible 'magic door' through which you must pass to access the lounge. So clever and enchanting. What a fun and creative way to add-value to people's journey!

Inside, the lounge is nicely designed with big sofas, individual seating, quiet booths for working and big windows revealing gliders and planes taking off and landing.

The lounge good croissants, jams, yoghurts, coffees and other beverages. There are also monitors so you know when your gate is announced - AND bonus, general boarding announcements can be heard in the lounge.

Manuela, would also occasionally pop in to the lounge to clear plates etc. and even made a point of wishing guests a nice flight. When was the last time someone wished you that?

In short this is a great lounge, managed by two really delightful people who are great ambassadors for Austrian hospitality. They're both worth promoting, rewarding and probably cloning.

If only more Priority Pass Lounge hosts were as pleasant, playful and professional.

Slightly chaotic during busy periods; insufficient areas for travellers to wait and many people were sitting on the floor outside the airport waiting to check in.
Worth noting, it would seem many airlines open their cehck-in desks 2 hours prior to the flight.
The restaurant options in the airport are incredibly expensive, don't expect to get any change from €10 for a plate of chips and a soft drink.
Airside was incredibly busy as well with people forced to sit on stairs due to huge numbers waiting.
On an upside, the airport has a viewing area non-airside with stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
The Tirol lounge is quite small but a nice place to wait for your flight.

Fairly small but incredibly well run airport. We didn't experience any real queues for either bag check or security, even on changeover day in the middle of a busy ski season, and all staff were friendly and helpful. It would benefit from more seating while waiting to board, but otherwise a generally pleasant airport to travel via
Horrific airport! C’mon people if you know you have flights taking off and it will be busy simply put more staff on. What a joke of an airport.

One star added only because it's close to the city, otherwise it'd be a one star.
40 mins waiting time for security control. Employees really just hanging there instead of opening another line.

After security, you are squeezed in a big room waiting for passaport control, not enough seats for everyone.

Only one small bar there for food/drinks (with other queues of course), no much food and drinks choice. Overpriced.

And don't bother buying Speedy boarding with easyJet...they say they are a small Airport so it's a first come First served.

I was stolen in this airport today. Someone took a bag of food worth 30 euros from my seat. No police there to help. Then, the customs took 40 min. In the end, a bus to take you for an airplane that is 100 meters away. Also, no food anymore after 1PM as it looks like it's not worth to Costa to sell that.
Fantastic airport. Customs and baggage are mere steps from the plane. No time wasted. The incredible view flying in is worth it alone.

Small portal into the international world, convenient, fast, friendly. Everything you could wish for. Can get a little overcrowded during winter times.

Innsbruck Airport, located in the heart of the Alps, is known for its scenic surroundings and challenging approach. It's a small airport. The view that you get when you reach Innsbruck is mind-blowing especially in winter.Overall, it offers a unique experience with stunning mountain views.just outside the airport you get bus with which you can travel to Innsbruck city or railway station and all.
A very clean modern airport. Smells good. You'll find stores and restaurants here; not many choices but enough to walk around.
Quick security check, clean restrooms, different shops and cafes available, comfy lounge with sockets and friendly staff.

One of the best airports I’ve seen so far, after traveling in 21 countries! The only one that I’ve enjoyed a little bit more is from Budapest.
I like this airport quite a lot. It is very easy to find your flight or gate here. Terminals are close to each other and you will have no problem to walk from one to another. There are many shops and fast foods inside. It is also well connected with Vienna city centre and with some other cities as well.
Nice, quick, clean and efficient Airport.

We transited through this airport this time around.

The arrival immigration was very quick, the Secuirty had no queue. The duty free was pretty impressive. The food and beverage choices were a few but with good spread.

There are quite a few airport lounges options.

Overall a good experience.
Easy and convenient to understand. The security check, baggage drop and immigration was convenient and easy. Very nice and quiet airport 😊
Vienna International Airport is a great airport. Smooth arrivals from an international flight. Cheap transportation includes train system and the airport bus. At the departure area, depending on what gate you’re departing from, there are variety of food stalls, souvenir shops, and vending machines available. Waiting area is comfortable. Again, smooth departure procedure. Overall, it was a great experience.
Very clean, organized airport. Easy to navigate. Unfortunately, I had a quick layover 30 min and missed my connecting flight. I flew in but had to take a bus, to the terminal, then had to walk 20min. There wasn’t ample reasonable time to reach the gate. The attendant were cordial and helpful. I look forward to visiting Vienna on another trip.
Extremely spacious, clean, clean toilets, selection of food, places to sit...well laid out terminals, self check in counters.
The workers speak English correctly, which makes communication much easier.
This is our first time traveling to Austria. We arrived at 6 o’clock early in the morning. The first impression comes from the airport.

The process of passing the customs was very smooth, and some stores are open already. We found the food is very different from what’s offered in Asia (of course) and would love to try them all out whenever we are free during the trip!

The airport is very good and beautiful. The baggage drop , security check and immigration were seamless. The staffs are very cordial and professional. It's easily accessible from Vienna city and rest of Austria. There are plenty of shops available inside the airport and the Ambience is super attractive. Austrian airlines has its hub here. It's well connected with Frankfurt, Paris, London, Rome and many other countries as well.
Very nice airport and clean. The design is of terminal 3 is something new. There are many services available at this airport such as visitors viewing point at level 3, sleeping cabin, prayer room at level 2 (terminal 3 before departure gate). Cafes and restaurants are available. The toilet is clean as well. Fast service at the security checkpoint since many counters are open. Connection to the city center is easy too.
VIP and General Aviation Terminal
We traveled through two times in one month and had to use passport control one time. Everything flowed smoothly and the airport was well organized. Security was watching as they sent passengers back trying to use the wrong lanes if you were not business class. Shuttles are offered to change terminals which we used without issues to catch a connection. Business lounge was easy to find and comfortable. Flight displays were accessible and information well displayed. All in all a good experience and we didn’t find the airport extremely crowded either time we passed through.
Excellent service and very friendly staff

Generally Innsbruck airport is okay, but be aware, that during some time slots crowds for security and passport control might be huge and that after security there is not much to do. There is one slightly overpriced Duty Free shop, which closes between 17:30 and 18:00 and cafe, where prices are slightly higher than in the city but food is okay. Before check-in in the departure hall there is a restaurant with the terrace, where you’ll have a great view at the Alps, departing and arriving aircraft. Prices at that restaurant are slightly lower than after security and the selection of meals and beverages is better. Be aware, if you leave Shengen, after passport control there are no shops or cafes.

Not a bad little airport. Waiting times weren't too bad just a shame that there's not outside area once you've gone through security. Would also be lovely if the a/c was slightly better. I mean that you actually notice that there's one!!
