Gym review:
Staff always nice, nothing against them.
Gym is VERY average. Old equipment, never updated. EVER.
New equipment is needed (not just one unique piece which is also clearly used). There's enough space for additional equipment. Generally enough equipment for a workout, but essentially only one of anything. Good luck when it's busy.. Equipment is in need of regular maintenance (tightening) and cleaning, but does not happen. Ripped vinyl is about the only thing that gets repaired quickly. Treadmills and rowers are old. Straps on the rowers need replacing. Exercise balls/ Swissballs usually under inflated.
I've found bolts on the floor before, or loose bolts on equipment and reported to the staff. NOTHING happens.
Gym is dirty. Floor ok but nothing (equipment) is wiped down and marks on windows always. Marks on the ceiling mirrors. I put some sweat marks on the windows myself to check and still see them 2 weeks later..
Not sure what the cleaners are doing?? Bathrooms regularly stink, as do inside lockers and soap runs out in the shows often. Hot water system inadequate in winter when obviously more people it. Shower tap handles need repair. Old bottles, or items left in change room typically stay there and rarely removed. I've thrown out stuff myself. A lost and found bin is now provided at the front entrance to the gym. It is over flowing. It's gross. If you haven't claimed it in 1-2 weeks, throw it out.
Sauna (is popular) but needs new ceiling vent (damaged), door seal needs repair (damaged) and floor is often dirty.
Pool is good and seems well maintained though.

Seems money is spent on the food and beverage section and golf/ tennis facilities. Gym is very neglected. Why have a gym then?
Why should I pay a membership? There are far better gyms for the same money. I only go for the convenience, but it's a bit annoying when what I pay for is sub par..
Serious gym goers or people in competitions do not come here. They are obviously at a better gym..

I see plenty of 1 and 2 star reviews with KDV in general and a response saying they will look into the issue or rectify it. Clearly this does not happen. It's just lip service..

The golf course is overpriced and really gone down hill. This used to be a great little short course with some long holes at the back. These are now closed and it’s 9 holes. 2 of the holes don’t even have putting greens. Constant driving range balls coming over on the one long hole. Won’t come back very disappointing and overpriced .
I would highly recommend Paul Williamson Golf coaching if you are new to the game of golf or needing a refresher/confidence boost. I have completed the "Get into Golf" and additional courses and always found Paul to be an excellent coach using lots of different activities, drills, on course as well as range practice to demonstrate and assist you in developing your skills. I feel so much more confident on the course and enjoy the game. Thanks Paul for all your advice and patience!!
I have been working with Paul and attending his events regularly for the last couple of years. Paul's coaching style is very non invasive and he understands my personality which helps dramatically. He has improved my golf by changing the way I think about the game which in my mind is far more important. I cannot recommend Paul highly enough as a golf coach and he is also a good bloke.
If you want to learn how to play or just get better at golf. Paul is your man.

Booked online for a pickle ball game with my family. (4) Booked, paid for an hour, trad all the literature amd searched then researched had. Yep had it all sorted or so i thought. headed down for our game everyone couldn't wait to try out this pickle ball thing.. approach the front desk found our booking. only to be charged for the bloody paddles. Another $24 dollars. WHERE DOES IT ADVERTISE I HAVE TO PAY MORE. I Booked and paid on-line... no mention of further fees until we're standing there waiting. Then the young fella on the front counter told me I had to have them handed back in before 10.. I PAID FOR A FK.N HOUR not 45 mins you pest. Put a list that is visible of all costs Not some pf them. I am in NO hurry to go back anytime soon
I took a 3 day package and recommend Australian Golf School highly. We covered off on all aspects of the game, using multiple training tools to improve ball striking and alignment. The team were flexible and adjusted the program based on my requirements. Morning transportation to and from the training centre as well as to the three courses made the camp seamless. My golf has definitely improved as well as my enjoyment of the game.

Fun little course in a really convenient location. Beautiful greens and the par 3 is great for improving your short game.
Awesome for beers on the balcony afterwards watching the sun go down.
Can’t wait for the kitchen to open and have dinner options available.
Paul is an amazing passionate coach, I have just completed the starter course which was brilliant, Paul wants each player to learn and become as independent as possible ( we will always need you though Paul) we are definitely looking at doing the next course and playing the Social games! Do yourself a favour and book in with Paul today, you won’t be disappointed, his experience and advice is invaluable! Thanks Paul 👊
I have completed 4 Coaching Sessions and 9 holes, at Emerald Lakes Golf Course with Paul Williamson and have made steady progress to achieving a improved standard of golf. Paul has been a very good hands on Coach and his Golf Programs cover various aspects of golf. Highly recommended. David Wilson Hope Island Queensland

We hired one of the rooms at KDV Sports for an event we were hosting and it was really awesome! The room was spacious and clean, the burgers that were provided were delicious as well! Rodrigo was active in helping whenever we asked for assistance for something he would never hesitate. He was very attentive and friendly. He definitely made the whole experience very pleasant and we can’t wait to hire this space again!
An excellenr place to golf! The grounds were very well maintained! Will be holding our work function here this year because of this!!
Course was nice, in good Nick & easy walk, but, the girls that run the business are fantastic, so professional, helpful &eager to assist.
Thank you Georgie & Chrissy
Used to be a good 9-hole course when it was rock-up-and-play, with a good mix of par 3s and 4s. With it now being par 3s only and having to book I'm less tempted to play it, especially as I can play some 18-hole courses for a lower price (if I make use of their Twilight Golf offers).

My kids have been attending the holiday camps at KDV for a few years. It has always been a great place with awesome coaches and even though it has steadily increased in price the kids have a good time. When I went to drop them off this morning I was notified by a PDF sign at the sign in desk food was no longer included in the fee citing too many allergies. Now the price has increase to $70 from $65 at Christmas and no longer includes food. I was told that that they had sent multiple emails however we did not receive the email otherwise my children would've A)not attended or B) brought lunch. There were several other parents in the long sign in line that confirmed they also did not receive the email.
Its understandable that everything is increasing these days but it is not justified the cost have increased and it no longer has the inclusions it previously did. Furthermore, upon receiving your online booking confirmation the fact food is no longer included should be mentioned.
Just over 18 months ago my husband bought me Pauls’ get into golf package for my birthday. I had always wanted to play golf but had no-one to play with. Now I have a wonderful social group to play with regularly and I am so proud of how well I am playing. I am thrilled to be a true golf tragic playing twice a week and trying to improve my handicap. I owe this to Paul’s approach which is a great balance of fun, purposeful practice and continuous improvement.

The pitch and put golf course has gone downhill massively in the last 12 months. The public holiday surcharge stung - over $30 to have a hit on the worst maintained greens I have ever seen. It’s a shame that the owners have neglected the course. Once upon a time there were 18 playable holes and it was really fun but now there is barely 9 playable holes. Save your money and don’t bother hitting here. Spend a little more to play on one of the many other surrounding courses. When I mentioned what a let down the course has become the staff member just smirked and agreed with me.
Good grass🤙and mosquitoes don’t bite🦟
Great venue. The staff are very welcoming
I recently played 9 holes with Paul and contrary to most other coaches, Paul`s on course lesson sheds so much more light on the game of golf.He spends time on explaining just where I am going wrong and ways to correct it.
I had no idea how much thought one has to devote into just one shot .
Because my lesson was this week I can`t wait to get out there this weekend and adopt some but not all of my recently acquired knowledge.

Kim Jon Un hit me with a golf club here. im a big fan xoxoox
I did the did the 9 shot or lower course late last year with Paul and I was very impressed with Paul’s approach to his lessons, the instructions were always relevant and the explanations kept simple without over complicating things while also being direct with his criticism of my game which I needed.
I put in the extra homework throughout the 9 weeks to be able to get the full results with Paul’s lesson and have benefited greatly in my game, I have gone from consistently being 105+ (playing on a technically challenging championship course) and frustrated with my game to now being consistently in the mid to low 90’s which feels great and I believe I quite possibly will break into the 80’s using the skills Paul has gifted me.
Best money 💰 spent love ya work Paul Williamson, I’ll be back soon to continue this journey.
I was on holiday on the Gold Coast and really wanted to hone my golf skills. I had a three-day boot camp with Paul, and everything was fantastic! 1:1 lessons and on-course lessons were just perfect, and I learned a lot, especially how to lower my scores. Now I really need to put everything into practice. Paul was very keen on making me review my shots and plan my next shot, which is a great habit I will develop further when I get back. Thank you so much:)
Small golf course (9 hole only). No cart. Bit confused 7-9 holes. Surronded by rensidential area

Really good greens, always consistently difficult and fast. Fairways could be improved, they are often dry / patchy - but understand it has been hard with the weather lately
If you’re into golf and have a day off, this place is heaven. If you’re not, it’s a lush country club with full event facilities. Brilliant.

Longest round ive ever played in my life….(5hrs - and we teed off in the first hour of business).
Fun course, but slow AF with tee times 7mins apart. Be an amazing morning if you were first cab off the rank. x
A small golf club with an inviting atmosphere. The bar staff are lovely and love their regulars, and the glass cafe has affordable meals that hit the spot.
I really enjoy going to the Glass Bistro or sitting in bar area. The service is friendly, the food is excellent and the environment is very pleasant with lovely views of the golf course.

Course is in great condition, and is always a challenge.
Local friendly Kangaroos are always good to see.
Pro shop, Greens staff excellent.

Cafe and Bar staff are super efficient and coffee great.

A real plus is that the Highlands is the best draining and warmest venue when it’s wet and cold. 👍✅😊

A good course with a lot of character. Good opportunities to shape tee shots to suit the sloping fairways. Hole 7 is a delightful short par 4, that hole alone made the afternoon worthwhile. The back 9 has 4x par 3s but each has it's own challenges, no.17 is about the longest I've played at 208m, but downhill. I'm guessing the altitude may have helped get me a few extra metres. Greens were true and firm. Please fill in divots and repair pitch marks when you play, it was sad to see that some people don't respect the course. The low green fee for a visitor was a plus, makes me likely to return.

The mini glow golf ⛳️ is a very fun experienced.
Not to mention a great location to enjoy the food and bar.
Great 9 hole course with mainly par 3s and a few par 4s. Suitable for all abilities. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The practice putting green is well maintained and flat. The greens on the course are more challenging. Golf cart and club hire are available. Lots of bird life to see as you walk around.
Been a member for a few years now. Love the course and hospitality. Also love the wild life. Most importantly I enjoy being able to go and play unhindered virtually anytime.

Great course, friendly members and a first class bistro. Excellent value for money in all respects. Highly recommended!
Great course but poorly managed. Tee times and group size didn’t seem to matter to the kid working the pro shop. Only played the 2nd - 4th holes before walking off and even that took over an hour. Not to mention the group of about 10 pre teens all teeing off the 5th at the same time spraying balls everywhere. Waste of money & time.
Great 9 hole course, with reasonable prices and friendly staff. It’s also next to a farm
Good course and well maintained. Very nice cafe/restaurant and event facilities

This facility has changed a lot. There is no main dining area, only a takeaway area with minimal food. The bays were busy but no one was collecting the balls on the range.
Feel a dress code and enclosed shoes should be worn to use the range and mini golf course. They have a very small par 3 course but it is really only a chip and putt.
Has lost a lot of appeal since I last went.
Course is in top condition and playing well. Greens are smooth and fast. Only 2 greens need a bit more work. Members and guests only. The post game food and snacks are top shelf.

Great evening hosted at the club recently, featuring Gregg Arthur, singing in an evening with Tony Bennett! Had a set indian dinner from the Cinnamon Klub
Played here with the ATC and it's a great course in pristine condition. Great clubhouse facilities and food too.

Fingers crossed I can play here again in the future!

This is my first golf course I played in Brisbane. Easy online booking, staff are very welcome, rent a Clickgear push cart which is very helpful for an interstate golfer like me. the course is a hilly lay out. Next time prefer to rent a motorised cart. Fairway are narrow and challenging, green a bit tough to read. Enjoyed playing here met a lot of friendly members. They have a beautiful restaurant, I wish I could have more time to relax and enjoy the coffee. there is also mini golf for kids to learn and enjoy golf. Definitely a complete golf course you can’t go wrong.
Wow, when I started at the beginning of the week, I never expected I could possibly learn as much as I did in five days, but the instruction provided by both Linford and Josh made the learning seem so simple for such a complex game. I went away armed with some very good ideas and thoughts on how to produce a swing that would allow me to enjoy the game more than I was.
I would really like to thank both of Linford and Josh for the help and guidance you gave, and whilst I'm not ready for the pro tour, at least I can keep up with my fellow golfers at my home club
It is almost certain that I will be back sometime next year, and I look forward to further refining my golf skills under their tutelage.
Lovely little 9 hole course on the Goldcoast. Mostly par 3’s with 2 nice par 4’s.

Reasonably priced, and the staff member working today was an absolute legend. Helped us out with club hire which made it a great experience.
Josh is amazing.
I got more out of 2 lessons than 6 with another coach

Highly recommended
Thanks Josh

Really enjoyable layout that’s not too hard but a number of narrow fairways requires good shots off the tee for there to be any chance of a good approach shot. Greens were surprisingly slick and best part of the course. Some fairways still recovering from recent wet weather. Nice simple clubhouse and bistro with traditional pub food as well as Asian Yum Cha that was unexpected. Worth a visit.
My sister took me to the Riversdale Golf Club for lunch
I was looking forward to a meal with great punch
The roast of the day was superb
It was seasoned well with many a herb

The fish of the day was fresh and crunchy
I was glad I was feeling real munchy
With beautiful green views before me
The whole experience left me with glee!

I haven’t golfed for a very long time so I can’t really comment on the topic of golf courses. I know one thing for sure and that’s I know how fun and soothing it can be. This gold course is lush and scenic like most golf courses. I’m not sure if the fairways were damaged by the floods but it looks well maintained. 👍😎

I was here at my cousin birthday party, really impressed by what they did. Also, found some friendly bartenders and waiters, they did show great attitude and professional behavior. Overall, I think this place is very good
An out of the way spot with a decent bar, cold beer and other beverages. It has a beautiful green view of the golf course and bushland. Just off River Rd near Gore Crk Bushland. Open Wed to Sunday. Also available for functions. EFTPOS only no cash sales.
Thank you Meadow Park for hosting our Golf For Fun Christmas day, Georgie and Scott were amazing, we really appreciate your team as they are always very accommodating A+.
Your course is in fantastic condition, when other courses are closed you are open due to the upgrade of drainage system.

I'd highly recommend this course for your short game and for those looking to take up the game, as Scott will always be happy to give you a few lessons.

I'll start off by saying this is quite a tiny course and a good number of the holes are shared fairways though with different greens. E.g., 1/10 share the same fairway. Having said that, for what it is, it definitely makes the most of the space. Course condition was very good and well kept. Fairways lush and greens well groomed. It is also quite strategic with rather narrow fairways with lots of dog legs. So unless you can shape your drives, it will remain mostly in your bag here. It is also relatively hilly which is kinda nice. For those looking for length and variety this is probably not the course for you. I only played 9 but couldn't pull the driver out until the 9th, but if you don't mind that it's quite a beautiful little course.
I recently moved from the Sunshine Coast to the gold coast
I had so many golf courses to choose from but chose to be a member of emerald Lakes golf club because the course is challenging the staff knowledgeable and friendly and the annual fees reasonable
Just completed the 6 week Get into Golf programme with coach Paul Williamson, it was great, I learnt so much and felt confident to get out onto the course on the last Saturday of our course. Paul is easy going, makes you feel comfortable and confident with what your learning and he coaches and guides you to learn new skills, he doesn't lecture and instruct you to do things his way. You're guided to find what suits you. Definitely recommend this course and Paul as a coach.
Awesome facility. Driving range, has grass and mats as hitting options. Pricing is good . Putting and chipping areas to
Thank you to golf professional David Waters for an excellent, good value, but quality experience in the ladies ready for golf program.. just concluded with bonus on course play..really enjoyed the technical skills provided in a relaxed and fun program over past 4+ weeks.. Great way to learn basics, meet like minded golfers and get individual time with the golf coach even within a group environment...well done David!!
Rene Taylor 🙂
I have played here twice now and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I like that they have 2 practice nets and the practice putting green matches the speeds of the greens on the course. There's no rush which is fantastic, you can lazily plod through your round. It's not a very tricky course, hardly any water which makes it perfect for beginners. The layout is neat, you are never in the way of people in front or behind you even if you hit a stray shot. If you're in the area, it's a good little place to play.

What a sensational golf course with a beautiful well maintained clubhouse. One of the best in Sydney. Every hole had different challenges and the greens were very fast and true. Would love to play there again.
Finally got on with a member recently. Highly recommend it. Fairways reminded me a bit of the Mornington peninsula, i.e. delicious. Greens were slick and challenging. Course design generally is outstanding. Overall 9/10 for a city track and the best one I've played in Sydney

Love the changes that have been made over the last few years. Use to be an average parkland course with trees lining every fairway to dictate how to play the hole. Now it is open, fun and difficult if you dare to go for it and fail. I have hit driver on a couple of the short par 4s and made the green, but 90% of the time its only a 5 iron off the tee as the pins are in tough spots. Needs a long par 3 that is over 180m. Love the different greens. Can't wait until stage 4 is completed.

Lovely restaurant with a beautiful view, willing to cater for food intolerances. The staff here really take care of my dad (he is a member) and are always friendly and welcoming to myself and my partner as his guests.
We organised a function at the golf club and, as a professional event manager, I can say that I have rarely been made to feel more welcome and looked after. The General Manager, Simon, was amazing and really went above and beyond to look after the whole group. The outlook is terrific, especially when you consider how close to the CBD it is. I would highly recommend this as a function space and also a great place for a drink or bite to eat.
Great course for all levels. Greens are very tough and are true. Love playing this course and the staff is wonderful. Not a member and they welcome me and a friend with open arms. Vacation in Australia was topped off by playing this course.

Straightforward 9 hole 🏌 course. Easy to play with a driver, 5 iron, wedge and putter. Downsides are slightly pricey ($25) green fees for a small course and lack of ambience work traffic on all sides. If you want to practice your game then this is a perfect course.
I don't play golf but I've been here a few times for work functions. I walked through the grounds taking photos and I enjoyed the wonderful food served here at breakfast and lunch. The staff are accommodating and the grounds are amazing.
