This pet stock was amazinggg it was so good they had everything I was looking for my dog and they had a lot of good quality range of products from toys all the way to food and clothes. And their service was great I took my dog to cut her nails and cut her hair and she came out perfect and it didn’t take too long of a wait.

Visited today for the first time and had a fantastic experience! The owner was very knowledgeable and gave great tips and advice for this first time chicken owner. Will definitely be back to purchase all our supplies, thank you

Came in 15 minutes before closing with my pup to quickly get her a coat and some treats for her first birthday. The staff were absolutely amazing. All fawning over her, helping her pick a toy and some treats. Even found me a pet friendly birthday cake for her! Pup loved being centre of attention and her little coat is now part of her identity as she tells me off whenever I try to remove it. Frequent customer at this petbarn and will continue for many years!

it caters to dogs a lot more than it caters to any other animal — which makes total sense, but isn’t what i was looking for. accessories like cat scratching posts & toys have all been very low quality (such as bells immediately snapping off when used or scratching posts coming undone very quickly) — my Kmart cat tree is literally more sturdy/better quality than the ones at Petbarn! it’s also incredibly pricey for what it is & the poor quality it comes in. i’d honestly just cross the road & see if Bunnings has what you’re looking for first before checking out Petbarn.

Do not come here if you want your dog washed! . Brought my 2 dogs here and they left wet and humid. A day later they had a rash on their belly and were scratching like crazy. The older woman in the grooming section is so rude and unprofessional, absolutely scam! Go somewhere else to groom your dogs but do not come here!

I'd been shopping at this store for about a year, with no incident. One day I came in to buy bedding hay & pullet grower for my new chooks. During this time, I had problems with the payWave on my phone & because I knew this, I brought my wallet with my physical cards, which I normally don't use. When lining up to pay, the payWave twice rejected the transaction. There were customers waiting behind me, so I attempted in haste to find the correct card. I fumbled somewhat to pay (first removing adhesive stickers on the cards to distinguish the Debit from the Credit card). Within all the confusion, I think it could have been a strong possibility that I left the wallet on the counter, as this was the only time I used it & I checked everywhere for it already, exhausting all possibilities imaginable.

I contacted the store for help, asking if they had seen the wallet. They said no, fair call. Then I eventually went in-store & explained the situation to the same man who served me. At first he didn't want to hear me out, but I calmly stated my case, that I wasn't trying to blame anyone, that I only needed their help in finding a starting point of what happened to the wallet by asking to review the CCTV footage (who knows, a customer could have taken it..?) & that I would offer a reward if anyone did find it. The man agreed to take my contact details & said his boss would contact me the next day, but she never did.

When I called her the day after waiting all day for her call, she completely took me by surprise, immediately going into defensive mode & talking to me quite rudely... she was completely uncooperative, hardly allowing me to put any word in, even when I appealed several times to her to just hear me out & she threatened to simply hang up on me. She basically accused me of being aggressive to her worker, upsetting him by accusing her worker of stealing my wallet, & that she didn't have CCTV & she wouldn't show me even if she had it. She also made an incredible value judgment, that all her customers are honest. I was shocked. I was never rude to her worker & very surprised the owner would treat any of her customers like this! If I was at all rude or aggressive, the worker at the counter would have refused to take down my details. Certainly my first time of showing me the worst possible customer experience in my 50 years of life!! I will never go to this store again & what's more, actively discourage anyone I know to do the same.

Judging by various negative Google reviews online, it seems that her rudeness & disrespect to her customer is the main problem in her own business! On the other hand, if you would like to be treated like trash by this woman, then shop here & lap it up 👎

We went in 'for a look' and fell in love with our new family member, Molly, a beaglier. The staff were wonderful in helping us - first time dog owners- and were excellent in follow up inquiries as we found our way. Molly is a wonderful addition, so friendly and so loved.

They stock a really good range of different fish species as well as plants and decorations! I bought my lace pearl gouramis here and they've been doing really well; the fish here seem to be treated better than some other local pet stores. I also really appreciated that the staff asked me about my tanks and how I planned to look after the fish I purchased - it's great to see them taking the time to make sure their animals are going to good homes.

Heaps of products but not many animals only small selections of fish in a certain section but good for basic needs for all animals I think :)

What a great store! Very clean and inviting with a huge variety of stock. I made several purchases and as such was helped by a couple of staff members who were knowledgeable, very helpful and friendly. They have a wonderful space for pet adoption too and I watched as a staff member gave kindness and attention to a cat who was timid but warmed quickly to him.
Highly recommended and will be back.

Can’t believe it’s 2023 and we are still supporting a business that is nothing more than a glorified shopfront for unethical backyard breeders and puppy farms. Think twice before buying a puppy from here as you aren’t only supporting puppy farms but you’re also potentially committing to dog that will have lifetime health issues.

Ordering before 5pm to get the delivery within 2hrs is a lie and the delivery comes the next day where the delivery driver leaves the goods outside in public access area for it to be stolen. The webiste needs a revamp as it's time consuming to purchase online and it doesn't tell you which products are not available for the different delivery options.

The service and Support staff need to up their game bigtime to compete with similar companies! Pet Barn has proven they are not worth the hassle! Poor attempt to deliver goods and re-routed to Post Office. If i wanted to collect my goods I would not have ordered HOME DELIVERY WOULD I?

Customer beware. If you are considering buying fish from this store , think twice. I recently bought 6 Guppies last week from this store thinking that l was purchasing healthy fish, when l asked if they were. But l was wrong , only after 6 days l have lost one . I have cycled my tank for the correct amount of time and l also checked the water parameters with the API master test kit and all the water parameters were perfect as indicated on the chart. So l know that it wasn't a fault on my behalf. This is not the first time that this has happened to me when buying fish from this store, I once again fell for their lies. I have given this store in the past several opportunities. I would highly recommend purchasing your fish from a proper aquarium store as l will be doing from now on , not petstock.

Really disappointed. Been buying my chicken supplies for years. Bought a new chicken water feeder, filled it up and it leaked. Took it back for replacement, was told the boss will have to look at and will call me back the next day. After no call back and me calling them 3 times on 3 different days they said the boss said no because they say it’s been used. So very disappointed that they think I’m lying and that they would choose to loose my business for approx $35. Won’t be buying anything from them in future.

New info: went back to collect the feeder they wouldn’t replace and the always nice salesman replaced my broken feeder with a new one. Appreciate that he did this, but unfortunately I feel I won’t be back.

Got left by my Didi driver here after they messed up my booking and dove to betbarn 400 up the road ...very good range of products...the best actually was so intrigued by range of products my Didi left .lol

$78 for three small packets of dog treat. I’ll let that sink in. One of them was just dried cows bladder; a cheap unwanted off cut. Essentially 10 pieces in total, so that’s $7-8 per stick. For comparison, a 30 pack of greenies dental dog chews is $60+ which are considered some of the most expensive dental treats already. The staff could have suggested a more cost effective option. I’ll just go to a butcher where I can get an entire bag of bones for $1-2. And they don’t have preservatives in them.

Bought a minibordoodle from here about 18 months ago. Staff were helpful, so initial experience was good. Unfortunately the little man has had problems with his legs ever since. He's not even 2 yet and has elbow and hip dysplasia. Spend thousands on painkillers, x-rays and CT scans all ready, and its only a matter of time before he will need surgery. The genetics on him are all kids of messed up and clearly not from a breeder who has any idea what they are doing.

The poor little guy is such an energetic happy boy and I'm being forced to take away all the things he loves doing, so that he's not in constant pain.
I have learnt me lesson and will never be buying from here again and recommend people do the same, especially if getting a mixed breed.

Good store but you should be aware about prices before pay. there are four price categories for the same item. 1. Store price 2. Online price 3.Members's price 4.Repeat delivery. AT the counter they do not offer best price unless you ask. You can save money($$) by doing this. Before visiting the shop check Petbarn online . You can get a better deal this way. If they not help contact customer support.

Pricing too complex for words. Took two attempts to get the best mix of products and I still left paying $80 instead of and expected $64. I’m sure the small print explains it all but my eyesight sucks.

Attempted twice now to buy chickens and women in store was quite rude, tried selling me ISA browns when I wanted a varied selection, told me all other breeds were either unsexed, too young or already sold. When I asked when the young ones were ready was accused of only wanting pretty chickens, not sure why that’s a bad thing? So went elsewhere and bought from a Breeder Couple Wyandotte’s and an Australorp. On adding to my flock went there again thinking maybe she had a bad day. This time couldn’t sell me anything as everything was either sold or not ready, put me on a wait list and told me it would probably be ISA Browns! Needless to say won’t be back. Just bought two more Wyandottes and a Barnevelder from breeders.

A bought my beautiful puppy almost a month ago from here. At first I was a little hesitant due to reading some of these reviews. So I gave them a call and had a reassuring chat and went to meet one of their lovely pups. When we arrived there was many pups all seemed to be happy healthy and in a clean environment. We met our little one and fell in love instantly. Every possible question we had was answered well with a great deal of detail. We ended up taking our pup home with an in depth booklet. This gave us all her information including her breeders information. Very happy I went here and if we ever do get a second one will for sure look here again.

Always had great service here. Easy parking but can be hard to get back onto South Road due to the traffic and people not letting you out.

Worst service I’ve had in Adelaide. My partner and I have been trying to buy at least one chicken there about five times. The lady that works there always has an excuse, saying she can’t sell us any chickens. Either they’re “too young” or they’re “maybe” sold? She is very rude. I feel sorry for the animals that are in poor conditions and unsafe environments. I also feel sorry for whoever works for this horrible lady.

John the owner is a legend in the pet care industry and the nicest, most helpful man you'll ever meet. His knowledge is astounding and he'll always sort you out with the best price. We're lucky to have him in our district.

On my first visit to this store on the weekend, I was shocked and appalled by the extremely tight conditions the animals were living in. Of most concern, 3 rabbits were in a small cage huddled together… one was DEAD! I politely told the gentleman who removed the stiff little body (it was in full rigor) while saying, “it wasn’t dead just before when I cleaned the cage”. It was very very disappointing and I will be reporting what I saw to the RSPCA. Sadly, I will never shop here again as I can not in good conscience support this business.

Boutique Paws source their dogs from puppy farms. Since purchasing my toy poodle from
Boutique Paws In August 2020 I have spent over $10,000 dollars in vet bills due to his various health issues including heart problems, trachea problems, hypoglycemia, bad knees and now severe hip dysplasia - looking at a further $12,000 to fix this.

When you buy a dog from Boutique Paws you receive a “12 month health guarantee” which is said to cover any issues if they arise. What they don’t tell you is that if you try contacting them about this, the owner Matt will promise to help (if he even answers at all - good luck with that one) and then gradually stops responding to you, dodging all calls and will eventually just ghost or block you altogether.

Read the other reviews here on google and also look up the Walkerville Vet who has spoken out against this despicable business. If you do go ahead and purchase a dog from Boutique Paws then I urge you to get pet insurance from day 1 - you'll need it.

In response to the owner's comment below: Lightly stepping on a puppy’s paw doesn’t cause hip dysplasia and that was not the reason he required emergency care, you're well aware of that.

Your vet only saw Henry for a checkup before his serious issues began. They then referred us to the Marion Animal Hospital. Every vet and animal hospital we've been to since (which is many) roll their eyes and groan at the mention of "Boutique Paws". Your shop doesn't have a bad reputation for no reason.

Another update 2023: Henry has now had to have surgery for a luxating patella on his right leg in addition to the hip dysplasia on his left side.

Wish I could give this place 0 stars! They sold my family a sick pup. Then had the nerve to deny that his sickness was their fault even though our vet has said they've had NUMEROUS dogs with this awful parasite come from this horrid place. BEWARE of this puppy farm. Our beautiful lab did not deserve to die from giardia!

Walked in to see an abundance of choices. Wether you're got a big pet, small pet or aquatic pet, PETstock Allenby Gardens has everything. There was even an edible house for small pets, how cool! Super cheat prices in comparison to other competitors, make sure you check this place out before you purchase anything! Will be recommending to anyone who has a pet or is looking to get one. A great local South Australian family owned pet food store. Karen and Trevor are just so helpful and friendly to all customers. They have great variety of dry and fresh pet food as well as pet accesories. Its a business with a heart. Support local!

After our beloved curly coat retriever died in Dec at the ripe old age of 15 our family was absolutely gutted. He had been such a part of our lives that there was this massive hole missing every single day. I swore I wasn't going to consider getting another dog for at least a year.

On a whim, our family headed to Boutique Paws so the kids could hang out with some puppies as we all missed having a dog around. After we had been there for a while and seen a couple of rotations of the different dogs (so they could play), the staff brought out a group of AussieDoodles - a breed I had never heard of. I watched them play around a bit and there was one in particular that caught my attention. He was playful, but not over the top, he would watch the other dogs with curiosity and when they were getting a bit too boisterous he would slide under the cupboard and chill out - leaving his back legs sticking out from underneath. When the next rotation came I asked the staff if they could leave him out for a while so we could spend some more time with them - which they were more than happy to do.

Anyway, my wife and I start playing with the AussieDoodle puppy more, the kids are already in love with him and I turned to my wife and said, "I think we should get him". It is a decision that I will never regret.

"Arlo" is the coolest dog in the world (our son named him from an Episode of Brooklyn 99!). Smart as anything, loving beyond words he has filled a hole that I didn't think could be fixed. He is just as happy chilling out in the backyard as much as when we take him for a walk in the park. He is just a pleasure to have in our lives.

The staff at B.P. were so helpful with all the information they gave us and clearly care about all of their dogs. They do a great job with rotating the puppies so they get play time and making customers feel welcome. I can't recommend them enough.
