Not answering calls i asked for Oz lotto n powerball was in rush didnt check came home @ night to see ticket he gave mr Oz n mudweek now calling , calls r forwarded he was too busy in his phone😡

Really rude service now. It's a shame, because this used to be a nice shop. The owner never smiles and today he gave me my ticket by passing it backwards, while facing away from me. No eye contact, no care, poor service.
Everywhere that sells team coach cards retail price is $3.99 except for here where it's $ 5.99 a pack talk about price gouging.
they charged a lot for printing and they don't accept USB which is funny and if you are going to print personal information for example passport it's gonna be send to their system . I went there for printing 2 A4 pages in black and white and the price was $6 for 2 prints only . my local post office charges 70 cents for one coloured copy .

Went to this newsagent to process lotto tickets for small wins ($30.70). After male atrendant checked on his lotto machine he said I won '$30.00' only. He didn't know that I had already checked my registered tickets for total wins. Please check your lotto tickets for wins before handing over to this male worker or better still DON'T transact any winning at this newsagent go elsewhere.

absolutely terrible staff. not welcoming and has 0 people skills. the owner/manager is sleazy, and clearly doesn’t care about his customers, only the profit they bring. OH! they also don’t do eftpos refunds. never coming back. thanks for ruining my day and so many others!

Mortdale Newsagency is my go-to spot for all things news and stationary! Every time I walk in, I'm greeted with warm smiles and a vibrant selection of products that seem to call my name. The staff? Absolute legends! They remember the little details and always make me feel like a valued customer.
My partner bought a lottery ticket online and the lady refused to keep in the computer system because she was too damn lazy to enter the ticket number. She asked for a coupon avoid going to that newsagency that newsagency should be closed down. The lady with the glasses is rude and disrespectful.
Don't cut key here, I have to come back three times and the key just does not work. Cut the same key in Bunnings, working fine with first go.
I found the young lady selling lotto tickets nice and friendly but when I talked to the owner about a certain product in the window she didn't know what it was I showed her and if it was for sale on discount she became defensive and rude.i purchased it anyway no please or thanks and I had to ask for the receipt non was offered I won't be back again previous owners were friendly and professional.
I have requested that parcels be left at my residence if I am not at home. The depot that my parcel was delivered to was extremely difficult to access due to location and lack of transport connection.
The newsagent was very pleasant but the time taken to retrieve my parcel was over an hour. The COST of transport to collect it was almost the same as the cost of the delivery from the company in MIssouri, USA.

As described in every 1 star comment below, the male worker there is the worst. But then again, it’s local “Belmore”, so what do you expect. I dislike it when my item gets sent there as I have to deal with the male worker who’s always on his phone watching something. It seems like every customers experience is the same, and we’re all treated rudely as if we’re bothering him. It is what it is.
If you have a parcel left here, they refuse to keep it for more than a few days. Also, walked in on several occasions to find the person working there asleep behind the counter, which is just a very weird experience.

The man that works the store is so rude. I went to pick up a parcel one day and looked as if he didn’t want me there. When I have my signature, he cut me off halfway and said that it was enough. That man is so rude and definitely will not be going back.
I don't know if it's the owner or the staff, but he's very rude. I visited because I had to find a parcel, and I had a very unpleasant experience. He talked to me like screaming in a very unfriendly tone, and treated me as if he wanted me to leave the store as soon as possible because he was lazy to me. I don't want to visit again for anything.

I've recently moved to Mortdale and always buy morning papers. The short-haired lady shopkeeper is very rude and is always on her phone.
Rude and impatient owner. If you ask for something as simple topping up your opal card, the owner will somehow find a way to be impatient and rude about it. I avoid this Newsagency as much as I can because of the rude owner.
Open early at 6.30am. Sells newspapers, books and gifts and stationary. Sells lottery tickets and is pickup centre for Toll packages

Came here to send money twice. Got declined twice. There is no use advertising that you have Western Union services when you dont actually do the service!
Really nice newsagent. A lot of the magazines that are older are half price (first time I’ve seen that). Staff are kind and genuine too.

My mother had an infuriating experience this morning (around 10). She asked to order a new ticket while picking up her winnings, but the clerk (a young blonde female) had not listened and didn't give my mum a ticket. Fine, mistakes happen, so my mum asked her again. But then she started speaking condescendingly to her, as if my mum was still waiting because she didn't understand English (she's Japanese but speaks English fluently) or was too stupid to understand how tickets work. She even smirked "knowingly" at another clerk as if to make fun of my mum. The manager of this place should know about this disrespectful behavior in their staff. The older staff working here were fine, though. I will definitely not be buying anything here.

I will no longer be shopping here after seeing several golliwogs for sale as a part of their Christmas display. They are an antiquated racist relic that promtes harmful stereotypes about black people. The sooner stores realise this the better.
