Nice walk with variety of food and handicraft, and small gimmick toys.
Very pretty inside. Lots of food option. My fav are the Lian pi and the sticky tofu. Plenty of toilets. Just need to be cleaner .

Great place for food, drinks, lights, and vibe. The fried skewers places were dope. The sugercane juice shop was my favorite. There are too many things to eat and drink in one day, so will be back to try more. However, those candied fruit store is a shame. Total waste of money to eat warm fruits coated in sugar syrup.
A beautiful place to come every Friday evening. Full of tasty food and good vibes.

This is the first time I’ve been here and I feel like I’ve completely missed out.

I was in awe just walking through the entrance. I felt like I was transported to another place. A haven of Asian cuisines and the ambiance was electric. The neon lights, hyped music mixed with the busy bustling noise, it all fit together perfectly.

It doesn’t hurt that everything we ate was delicious. From the cute desserts to the perfectly marinated and spiced skewers. The sugar cane drinks to the noodles and crispy chicken, all the flavours take you to another place!

I want to try all the stalls. Yes we are definitely coming back here!

My boys gave it 5 stars, me included!

Love this place. Always busy, especially at night. Such a great variety of different food. It gives out such a great vibe, neon lights, restaurants, and food trucks. It almost feels like you're in another part of the world.
Stumbled across the market tonight and wow, what a fantastic idea. Atmosphere was amazing and just another example of how Adelaide fails to disappoint when it comes to events.

The atmosphere was really nice filled with lots of vibrant lights. There were many good options to choose from with a variety of Asian foods ranging from classic Chinese food to Indonesian food and Japanese food.
On Friday evenings, you will find stalls nurtured between established Chinatown stores. Enjoy the artisan treats, purple rice yogurt, rainbow jelly lychee boba, novelty candles, chinese lamb skewers, mochi, spanish paella, toys, cute clogs, bbq pork buns, fashion, more food, jewellery, iron on patches, pet fashion, fresh juices, tiny plants, meme backpacks, toys, novelty keyrings, Hello Kitty everywhere and much more. Can look for the red and black stools that are placed around for sitting down to eat with large bins nearby. It gets extremely busy at around 8-9 pm. Most of the vendors accept cash or card tap payments. It is absolutely vibrant and worth a visit!

Great food court with a wide variety of Asian food, skewers were everywhere and offal soup was a highlight. Best not to go in large groups but 3-4 is optimal. Lively vibe about the place and a great atmosphere!

Incredible atmosphere, replicating the bustling food streets of China and Southeast Asia. Lots of food options and cuisines from different parts of China or Southeast Asia. Taste is good and food seems authentic. Can be crowded during meal times.
Busy chinatown night market which is comparable to other smaller night markets in Asia. There are your typical food stalls and small goods. Bound to find a decent feed and a bit of shopping on a Friday night. Would recommend for Sydney visitors in the Chinatown area.

The go-to spot for the best Chinese food! Countless restaurants open late, so you're never hungry on this lively street. Lighting and cleanliness could be a bit better, but the variety of options makes up for it. Chinatown Sydney is the ultimate destination for a tasty Chinese feast, and the bustling atmosphere adds to the experience.

There are many good tasting food there with reasonable price. But the Chinatown is actually very small. The whole road is like 200 meters. I don’t know if I missed any part of it but that’s all I can see.

Vibrant, exotic and endlessly interesting. Good food, good vibes and right in the CBD. I have a fondness for this place and visit often.

Really lovely atmosphere. Beautiful place with a range of restaurants from boogie to super affordable. Great places to take photos and browse through the different south East Asian cuisines.

A great place to visit for a new experience. Try the Night Market for some crazy street food. Or get fruit and vegetables and bargains from Paddy's Market. Hint. Get custom made leather belts while you wait at stall 270
There were lots of stalls and quite crowded in this Friday night market. Most patrons bought finger food.

This iconic part of Sydney has to be a must for any visitor to Sydney that happens to be there on a Friday night and wants to experience the hustle bustle of the night market and just the intensity of restaurant, food and market stalls and the general hubbub and chattering all around. The many public transport options to get there and close proximity to the town hall / Central Station make Chinatown very accessible and something not to be missed.

The food court at Chinatown is full of exquisite delights. I have often indulged there; the food is fresh, cooked in traditional Oriental style. I usually buy a dish that is laced with vegetables ( and I will say never overdone ). The freshness you can taste and after a serve I am very often satisfied. There are other qualities about the precinct as well, downstairs you can purchase fresh fruit and vegetables for a very reasonable cost. I have never bought any fresh produce that has deterred me from returning. One must get used to the environmental layout and never expect too much for the people running their stalls more often than not are just like you and me. Good luck with your explorations. Regards for all. A sometimes completely satisfied customer.
It's great place to taste different food varieties. Good crowd with great people during weekends.
Vibrant and happening, and always busy. Great street fashion on display. Quirky K pop like shops and stalls. Plenty of eating choices. I even found a Thai roti pancake stall in there. I love the fact that its closed off to traffic, and anyway this is a very pedestrianised area at the best of times. Very few tourists on the many visits I have been. Great in a heatwave as its a night market of course.

Very good atmosphere but not cheap, as most of the food they sell there is not filling . You probably need to buy 2-3 serve to be full and each shop minimum maybe $10-$20ea so you could be spending $40pp minimum for a full meal. For that price, I rather sit comfortably and be serve instead of queuing around and then need to find a seat in the food court to eat. Also it seems every time I go there , there is always evacuation warning alert , could be false alarm but can’t enjoy while eating .
Great to have local stuff. Variety of food and a few kids rides.
Had no idea there was a market so it was a pleasant surprise to see. Had a variety of food and bootleg trinkets you would expect from a street market. While some stalls had some nice looking food, there's some that are either super expensive or look really questionable in terms of food safety.

The crowd made it quite hard to get around in the narrow pathways but not impossible.

Was a nice experience, and if we didn't already have dinner plans were would have tried some of the food.
It's always fun to go. Went on a Friday lots of food and stall to look at. They've gotten a few more stall since my last visit around New years last year. It can get rather crowded, but I recommend checking them out anyway. I got this panda jelly dessert which was really nice

Great Place to eat! Plenty of Options to choose from. Its close to Paddy's Market as well. Its good just to sit and relax and enjoy the view. If you are in the City make sure to visit Chinatown!
So bad that My daughter got food poisoning. She purchased loaded fries from this place and there was this rancid smell not realising it was coming from the fries truck. Don't recommend it at all.
Great night out food was good and stalls where great also
Absolutely recommend visiting the Friday Night Market at Chinatown at around 5:30 in the afternoon if you have children and elders with you. The market isn’t too busy around the time we went, so both my kids and parents had a good time!

There aren’t many seats, but luckily we found somewhere to sit behind the trees. Personally though, I wouldn’t have mind not sitting if I didn’t have my kids with me. The vibe was great, and the smell of char-grilled meat was an added bonus to the experience.

Although it’s called the Chinatown Friday Night Market, they also have a stall selling Paella. Loved their Seafood & Valenciana! There’s multiple stalls selling Asian favourites, like fish balls and dumplings, and more. My son’s favourite was the one selling Fresh Lemonade, and my daughter’s favourite was where she could get candied strawberries.

All-in-all we spent over $200; the food isn’t cheap. It’s a bit pricey, but you get variety. It’s also convenient that they accept card payments.

Definitely going back, maybe with friends next time!
A good night market for street food or fried snacks. The market lacks the range of stall it use to have. The stalls are closely packed together making it difficult to move through the crowd to buy food or see what’s available.

The street feels dirty and the smoke from the stalls fill the air making it quite uncomfortable to stay. There is no seating area so unless you’re happy to eat standing behind stalls, or eat while walking and dodging the crowd, you’d be more comfortable eating elsewhere.
There were around 20 stalls when we went there with a variety of food, jewelry, wine and other.
They were open 5.30-10.30pm on a Saturday.
Right next to the Belgian beer Cafe.
This is an awesome Friday night out with an excellent vibe. I feel like back to our old good days before COVID. Nice street food and a lot of choices from various countries' styles. Must try if you are spending Friday night in Sydney.
The food is really Yum but needs more Stall with a variety of different products to browse while you eat or walk around. It's by the beach which makes your day but c'mon you need to grow!
Love going to Aussie nightmarkets, it's a family destination where you can eat buy stuff and go on rides.
Remind me of when I was a kid, my favourite food is chimney cakes, this service is quick and friendly and I have told many people about them this is one reason to I keep going back Aussie night market s
Just fantastic
More of a carnival with a food section and a carnival game section. All the food drinks and games were overpriced but overall atmosphere and experience was very fun!

Be mindful of the wait times since each truck has a very long line.
Amazing
A fun and relaxed vibe, excellent food any a variety of stalls that has something for everyone

Very impressed
I have to say, the food selection is incredible. Lots of independent vendors who are passionate about their food which is great. But the entertainment side...
There are three game stalls and they are the biggest rip off! Obviously they are rigged to a certain extent because they can't let you win every time. But one guy wanted $20 for ONE go. You had three balls to throw in to the bucket, $20!!! And the other games were $10 A go, absoutle rip off. If they made it $4 a go or something they would get so much mkore business because people would actually let their kids play more than once. Two goes would have cost us $20-$40 and I mean what young family can afford that?! I would be rethinking the vendors immediately
So glad they started doing something like this in Brighton, we needed something interesting. It's alright, the food is fun and the carnival games and rides are good for the kids, but it still feels like it's missing something. Maybe some live entertainment or performances from local schools/groups? Perhaps even face painting or a henna stall, just for a little extra fun.
Love the family fun atmosphere with a wide selection big food stalls to try. Most stalls are cash but they now have an ATM there. Jumping castle / slides to entertain the kids. You do need to watch your kids when it get crowded with bigger kids
