There were lots of stalls and quite crowded in this Friday night market. Most patrons bought finger food.

It's great place to taste different food varieties. Good crowd with great people during weekends.

Vibrant and happening, and always busy. Great street fashion on display. Quirky K pop like shops and stalls. Plenty of eating choices. I even found a Thai roti pancake stall in there. I love the fact that its closed off to traffic, and anyway this is a very pedestrianised area at the best of times. Very few tourists on the many visits I have been. Great in a heatwave as its a night market of course.

Had no idea there was a market so it was a pleasant surprise to see. Had a variety of food and bootleg trinkets you would expect from a street market. While some stalls had some nice looking food, there's some that are either super expensive or look really questionable in terms of food safety.

The crowd made it quite hard to get around in the narrow pathways but not impossible.

Was a nice experience, and if we didn't already have dinner plans were would have tried some of the food.

It's always fun to go. Went on a Friday lots of food and stall to look at. They've gotten a few more stall since my last visit around New years last year. It can get rather crowded, but I recommend checking them out anyway. I got this panda jelly dessert which was really nice

Absolutely recommend visiting the Friday Night Market at Chinatown at around 5:30 in the afternoon if you have children and elders with you. The market isn’t too busy around the time we went, so both my kids and parents had a good time!

There aren’t many seats, but luckily we found somewhere to sit behind the trees. Personally though, I wouldn’t have mind not sitting if I didn’t have my kids with me. The vibe was great, and the smell of char-grilled meat was an added bonus to the experience.

Although it’s called the Chinatown Friday Night Market, they also have a stall selling Paella. Loved their Seafood & Valenciana! There’s multiple stalls selling Asian favourites, like fish balls and dumplings, and more. My son’s favourite was the one selling Fresh Lemonade, and my daughter’s favourite was where she could get candied strawberries.

All-in-all we spent over $200; the food isn’t cheap. It’s a bit pricey, but you get variety. It’s also convenient that they accept card payments.

Definitely going back, maybe with friends next time!

A good night market for street food or fried snacks. The market lacks the range of stall it use to have. The stalls are closely packed together making it difficult to move through the crowd to buy food or see what’s available.

The street feels dirty and the smoke from the stalls fill the air making it quite uncomfortable to stay. There is no seating area so unless you’re happy to eat standing behind stalls, or eat while walking and dodging the crowd, you’d be more comfortable eating elsewhere.
