Big parking, walking area
Nice boat ramp to aces the swan river, be mindful of sand banks and shallows along the area, follow rules and regulations
Excellent boat ramp off the end of Smith Street. Very busy when the weather is good, summer and holidays. There is a good amount of parking but will fill quickly. There is extra grass area, but not sure if you'd get booked parking there.
Lots of car parking but not enough in summer on the weekend. Some 4hr paid parking, some 4hr free.
For launching, there is room for 4 boats at a time with the same in jetties to tie off to.
This site gives quick access to anywhere in the Broadwater and to the seaway mouth.
Be warned, do not park on the grass even with your trailer. GCCC will hit you with a $309 fine. Many, including us, got hit this weekend, 21&22 October. Council needs to provide more parking here.
Needs a toilet block. People/families come to picnic and use the playground, sadly no public toilets available
Not too bad a ramp. I would go here after dark tough
It's a boat ramp but you cant go with a powered boat or jetski, any sign saying it's ilegal to do. Security come in a minute
Well maintained ramp, good set up and sweet fishing spots.
Good place for a beginner to learn boating. Safe place for car and trailer.

Great place for a stroll with the dog.. unfortunately not as good in the darker hours as lighting is poor which was unexpected for such a nice park - basically no lights at all along the footpath... Definitely a cause for concern with security or tripping over at night.
She gets a bit sandy and makes my car do the slip slip when it shoudda been doin the chugga chugga
Picnic sport
Nice little spot to drop the boat in, however be aware we left our boat trailer and car there for several hours and returned on sunset. There was an older guy with a whispy beard in a blue Ute parked next to our vehicle. As we pulled up he jumped in his car and took off.
Luckily my lock on my trailer was still in tact and held on through him trying to break the lock with a crowbar or something similar. It was bent but saved my trailer.

Otherwise it’s a neat boat ramp.
Beautiful outlook from there, picnic area but bit noisy from the freeway
2 ramps side by side make for an easy launch. Plenty of trailer parking too.
Just a walk around the lake.
Love taking my dog down here for a walk.
Can be nice relaxing place to enjoy a nice peace and quiet.
What a magnificent park. Always beautiful around sunset.
Great boat ramp.
Careful at low tide, stick to the middle of the chanel, and dont cut the markers or you will run aground on the flats
Evening sunset, great place for a nice view of the riverside and the Brewery, sit down and chill and have your takeout or just anice stroll/ walk around here.

Great spot. In the summer is very windy because of the sea breeze. The boat ramp is only suitable for Jetskis. The Department for Transport enjoys watching any jetski that comes to the area.

Goodwood boat ramp and the road leading to it is closed until May 2023 due to roadworks
Beautiful area. Great play ground for the kids. Lots of land to fly a kite. Fantastic walking/riding paths

Nice views for relaxing
Neat little area that you can easily / safely launch and retrieve. Great little summer spot.
Had no idea that such a place existed up until recently. Such a beautiful and peaceful spot with some awesome buildings in the area

Peaceful. You would not know how close to the CBD you are.
We’re all just so lucky to have this magnificent waterway right on our doorstep.
Great location for a picnic and watersports. Near the ramp for boats there is a small quiet beach. Around the area there are many desk and green grass. Ample parking available, free parking on weekends
Lovely spot to stop for a break on trip home

Great for a launching spot for our kayaks this morning. First time here. Heaps of parking and shade
Great place to sit and have lunch by the river
This is a busy boat ramp but most often it is much easier to use that Smith Street parkland. The ramp is well maintained and the sand eather side make it easy to park your boat and put your trailer away... there is a handy fish table there as well. The Chanel on way out is very good and well maintained also aways easy to get to main channel
Lots of parking for vehicles and trailers, the ramp is in good condition but the jetty is quite small if your a novice. Can be tricky if there is a strong easterly blowing but we didn't damage anything so all good!
Trailer theft, many trailers have been stolen January 2022. People park in the boat trailer bays or even worse in the turn around/rigging bay. Usually the City of Belmont parks and garden truck parks there !!
Great spot by the river with a good playground for the Grandkids.
Best boat ramp on the GC. Can be full if you arrive after dark.

My local ramp. Been using it for the last 5 years without any issues. Don't be put off by the couple of people that camp in their cars along the access road. I greet them sometimes. I get the impression they were camping their long before I showed up. I feel their presence is a deterrence to trouble makers.

Great place, close to city, super chilled
Not too busy, but definitely needs some work. Lots of potholes, and no jetty. To launch here, be prepared to get wet. Maybe really wet, as the slipway isn't called a slipway for nothing.
Free to use and park, i just dont like the L shape jetties. So cant walk the boat onto the trailer from the jetty. A problem if your trailer isnt a drive on style because still get moderatedly pushed around in a light breeze, not as sheltered as it appears. Longer jetties would be the answer. So 4 stars cos no parking fees and good accessible location on the river. The light at the ramp is currently out of order so returning in the dark is difficult.
3 stars cos its free to use, but no jetties and dirt ramp so larger boats (bigger than a tinny) will need 4x4 to retrieve. Toilets nearby but only 5 trailer parking bays but still thankfull for what it is in this location. If they put jetties and sealed ramp in you would never get a park. I could get around that as i can run my car home as not too far away.
Always love going there, so beautiful scenery, Always busy, lots of eating places and lots of picnics as well
Nice picnic and fishing spot
Awesome place to Take the family or just quiet time on the bikes. Can't wait to go back

Easy access and great little boat ramp. Needs more parking when its busy so need to get there early.
Easy ramp. Lots of trailer parking except for the recent long weekend. The water is always flat but can be crosswindy for launch and recovery.
Good for catching bream
Been using this ramp for years....find other boaters there friend ly and helpful...... unfortunately no one has checked the lights for months now...so it really is difficult to dangerous to use after sunset...with australia day coming up I am expecting it to be another level of hell and with no lighting... vehicles are not safe to leave there. UPDATE.... lights are back up again ..thanks
It's not the worst ramp. The way that the launch and retrieval ramp is constructed wrong. They have constructed it with a semi roundabout so instead of backing up straight you back up on an angle. Through Xmas holidays they had VMS in the semi roundabout which stuck out into the ramp
Just a concrete slab, nowhere to tie up unless you've got someone to hold. Difficult with wind or tide if on your own. Beautiful setting though
Great seafood.. Takeaway.. Beach..
A good fairly sheltered boat ramp. There are public toilets by the main drive entrance and no parking permits or tickets needed. A great spot to launch your boat for fishing or a casual swan river cruise. Plenty of public mooring bouys along the shore with a nice 4 hour limit during daylight hours.

I like the boat ramp because of the bird life plus barbecue facilities and its a great place to meet .I like fishing and boating so it service me well.the bayswater shire needs to trim some trees along the river foreshore fishing line is hanging out of trees and extra bins along foreshore
Small ramp gets full quick on weekends. Follow the port and s/board marks out as there is a sandbank at the mouth heading out, crab pots frequent the bank and will get caught in your prop.

Nice small, secluded ramp that is ideal for small boats and dinghies. Playground for kids as well. Can get busy.
The Maylands boat ramp / trailer park is set in a picturesque part of Maylands with the Maylands Peninsula either side of it plus plenty of Parkland and shady trees. The ramp is steep enough and wide enough to be able to launch most sized boats with room to launch two boats side-by-side. There is also a jetty where you can walk along to tie your boat up whilst getting in and out. There are park benches adjacent to the ramp should you feel like having a bit of a picnic or something before or after your boat cruise. The car park can get very busy with boats coming and going however there is plenty of room for your car and trailer plus additional parking next to the car park.
There are also toilets in the car park and a wash down / flusg out bay for your boat next to the toilets with a tap and hose. No jet skis are allowed in or out of the water at this boat ramp and the boat ramp has CCTV cameras and water police patrol this area very often. Lots of River and bird wildlife in the area including pelicans and water birds, and sometimes dolphins can be seen in the river this far up.
Parking restricted for only cars without trailers...Toilet block. Is old shabby and a bit frightening...Needs knocking down..The whole Boat Ramp needs A Refurbishment.
Dual public boat ramp, no charge, well signed, great grip for any type of vehicle. All weather ramp, great car parking and public toilet about 50 metres from the ramp. Close to the Mylands Police complex also.
Not enough car parks, ramp is to small and Loders Creek can get very shallow and narrow on low tide

Nice area in the city to drop a boat or ski into the water. Has a small sandy shire with a grassed area for picnics or set up for a day on the water.
Popular spot for jet skis to launch and have a play.
Fantastic views and just a couple of minutes to the Elizabeth Keyes by water.
So if planning a day on the ski or to just enjoy the views the South Perth boat ramp ticks a lot of boxes
Small boat ramp, free access from the south Perth foreshore broadwalk. Nice view of Perth CBD
Taking it all in. A Nice Breeze today, fresh air and a beautiful bright sun shinny day.
Wednesday Morning, only a few people around riding, jogging, walking. So peaceful. A fewPeople fishing out on boats a couple fishing off of the boat jetty. A jet ski about and a chopper hovering around doing scenic flights.
Like the moto says great one day perfect the next. Not sure which day this is- perfect or great, gets confusing after a while

South Perth Boat Ramp is very popular for people launching their Jet-skis as it's an ideal ramp for jet-ski. It's a nice spot to come down at night in summer & watch people of their boats & jet-skis & has some great sunsets here. There is unisex public toilets with a shower & also a couple of picnic tables. The only thing is there is not as much parking as some other spots around South Perth if it is busy here with people launching their boast/Jet-ski/

Decent boat ramp for a small area of the river. Plenty of parking with a playground and shade. Unsealed but firm dirt road.
Great for loading the jet ski or a small boat. Plenty of boat trailer parking. Quiet little areas to splash with the little ones or have a quiet fish.
A great ramp, the only problem you will find is on low tide it helps to have 2 people as the jetty is so high
A nice little ramp, doesn't get to affected by the wind as it pretty much fully protected. It can get a little shallow but nothing to worry about coast guard use the creek. You can get fuel close by
Not a bad ramp, has had its day. Big plus side is its cleaning table. Can get very shallow and the creek can flow and a low foot bridge is very close enough by - best to have the motor running before hitting the water on a big incoming tide.
