Stunning art gallery with a great range of artists. Well worth a visit. Particularly excellent for abstract artworks at accessible prices. The friendly staff really know what they're doing and provide excellent information about the artists they represent.

First time here today…and I’ll be back!

Great atmosphere and playlist, indoor or outdoor seating, bathroom on site, warm, friendly and thoughtful service from the team of two - nothing was a trouble - and my Rainbow Wrap delicious and very generous in size.

And as important - coffee excellent(I had two)!

Breakfast out in this inner city location (border Fortitude Valley/New Farm right on the 199 bus route City/New Farm Ferry) is such a different experience to going out for Brekky in the coastal location where I live, and I really enjoyed the change.

Many thanks Cafe On team. See you next time!

I visited The Artery with my partner today. Raymond was fantastic. We had a particular artist and painting in mind after finding it online, Raymond showed us that painting along with a number of others so that we could be 100% sure of our eventual purchase. The Artery also has a very extensive range of beautiful pieces, we ended up buying another one! If you're looking for indigenous artwork I would highly recommend The Artery.

We had a very positive time buying a beautiful painting from Artery. Leah was a very enthusiastic, patient and helpful guide, and the whole experience was a pleasure. So much so that we returned for more! We have recommended the gallery to friends who are also highly impressed by the artworks, staff and service.

ps - the guy who delivered and hung the painting (name?) was fantastic too!

I imagined 'the big cheese bagel' a bit differently. I can't complain about the amount of cheese, but I expected it to be melted, not cold. Additionally, it seemed like it was torn apart rather than cut (hopefully not bitten), and there was just a big piece of it in the middle of a very dry bagel. However, the coffee and service were good

Amazing team who support their customers from start to finish! We live in the US and the painting we purchased while home, was not big enough. We returned it and purchased another. Mond and Leah pulled several paintings together for us to choose from, but we stayed with the one we had seen in the website.

It was shipped promptly and arrived safe and sound!

Finally we have it back from the framing shop, stretched and hung on our unpainted wall. (We had 70’s mirrors removed!)

We absolutely love it!

I couldn't drink wine as much as I paid. I could only drink a limited few of those wines and you didn't tell me that befor I paid.
You must show photos how small the plate is. If I saw that, I would not visit your gallery.

Headed here for breakfast due to the good reviews online as it's a short walk from Hotel X.

Really impressed as the service, food and especially the coffee was good so they deserve the 5 stars.

We wanted rustic and local and they have that in spades and are obviously foodies so the results are tasty as.

Thanks team Cafe On

An incredible gallery with a highly professional team and a careful curation of artists (from Aboriginal to contemporary Australian). An absolute must-see if you are in Sydney!

Artworks pictured below are by Marie Pol.
The gallery is a great showcase of contemporary abstract art in various mediums. The very approachable, responsive and professional gallerist and curatorial staff work hard for their artists, and opening events are a highlight.

Spectacular pieces of art and great comfort they are ethically sourced. They have enhanced our home! Will be back soon for more!
Moon Rock in Garigal National Park in Sydney, Australia. The place offers a beautiful vantage point with views of the ocean. Some sources say Moon Rock has about 50 engravings depicting Aboriginal astronomical knowledge, lunar phases, and Baiame, the creator-spirit.

Beautiful art pieces. Features original art, semi classic, and abstract. Definitely worth seeing!
I had the best experience possible at Wentworth Gallery at Martin Place. Michele Knox was just invaluable in assisting me with my purchase of the nicest piece ever by Mel Brigg. Every interaction has been brilliant and made everything so easy. I never felt any pressure or sales tactics, just a desire to help me make the right decision. Thank you Michele and Wentworth Gallery!

The team at The Artery were extremely helpful, lovely & professional. Riley provided fantastic guidance which helped me narrow down my shortlist & ultimately pick the perfect piece for our holiday home. We love our artwork by Emma Roepke Nangari.
It’s an amazing experience to visit Ian Smith’s exhibition in a historic Victorian architecture. The series of works is named ‘Elegy to the Suburban Republic’. No.34 is my favorite. Just love it!

There is an exhibition of John Hutton as well.

Great works! And great place! Definitely a hidden gem. I’m just so sorry that I never thought of stepping into this amazing gallery every time I was having a beer with my mates at the local next door for so many years!

PS: The owner is very friendly.
The opening was vibrant and fun with plenty of great works to see and an enthusiastic audience!

Amazing spot. Well curated art, awesome space and delicious food. We popped in for a tour with one of the artists for a work event, and would highly recommend doing this. Awesome sharing of the stories behind the artworks giving a great appreciation of both the art and country. Will definitely be back.
Unique engravings, some trail maintenance issues here. Faded to white signage and no upkeep on trails means access will become harder and harder.

I had the great pleasure to be assisted by Riley Holland at the Artery. Her customer service was superb from the very beginning and I never felt pressured or pushed into buying a painting like the “other” place which name shall not be mentioned. Riley understood what kind of painting I was after and she was very patient, engaged and offer me guidance when choosing a painting. Riley also displayed a great level of professionalism. I recommend the Artery and Riley to anyone who is into this type of art. Thank you again! And I can’t wait to get my new painting. Best Regards Christian.
Nousha was amazing in helping me find the perfect piece that was also in my price range. She is passionate about conveying the artist’s perspective and matching this with what clients are looking for. The store itself, in QVB, has been there for 30+ years. You can trust this store to have outstanding aboriginal works, obviously certified. I highly, highly recommend Aboriginal Art Galleries.
Easy to access not far from the main road, about 2 km from the Fire Trail Start
Easily accessible track from Morgan Rd Ingleside - grade 2/3 walk just watch for mountain bikes. If you would like to experience Indigenous rock art in a pristine bush setting from a high point above Narrabeen this site allows you to step back in time respectfully. Four phases of the moon are depicted along with Biame and hunting scenes. Axe grooves can be recognised. This site is managed and ceremonially recognised by the Metropolitan Land Council. If you visit it is important to not walk on or touch the engravings. This is a site of significance in Sydney.

It is a cute little cafe attached to an old house on a street corner. We were welcomed by the friendly staff at the counter. They had a little souvenir/handmade shop too, I bought a little brooch as a gift for a friend. The burger was quite good and the doritos chips was a cute touch. My hubby had the vegan fruits bowl with coconut yoghurt and he was happy with it too. Price is similar to other small cafes. Over all it was a nice lunch.

Very cool shop to buy art. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We purchased two pieces and they were wrapped and put in a tube for safe travel. Would love to come back here next time I’m in Sydney.
This shop been around in Queen Victoria building more than 40 years. Omid was awesome, their father built this business when there were plenty of aboriginal artist were around. Note only 2 left. He was really descriptive about their history and stuff. Got 4 authentic retuning boomerangs. There were decorative ones as well. Thank you.

Awesome service, Christina a star. No pressure sales. Helpful and thoughtful. Bringing the art options to our home and hanging on the spot was amazing - whole experience first class.
Recently purchased 2 aboriginal paintings from this shop and it was an unforgettable experience. Omid, the boss, is extremely knowledgeable about each artist and their work and is happy to spread that knowledge to you. It was my first time purchasing any sort of aboriginal work and Omid’s hospitality, pricing and knowledge was impeccable. Highly recommend visiting and supporting the shop, and you may even catch a quick digeridoo performance while you’re there. Will definitely visit anytime I’m in Sydney.
Tucked away right at the top of the Queen Victoria Building, and a great find! I'm a regular visitor to Australia but this is the first place I have found that sells original art. I bought some original artwork and a digeridoo. Omid was very helpful, patient and knowledgeable on the artwork and culture and I left feeling educated. He also took the time to explain tax refunds and organised shipping of the digeridoo seamlessly. The items can be quite expensive, but they are original art and musical instruments therefore I think you have to understand that when considering your purchase. I highly recommend and look forward to visiting again when next in Sydney.

We have enjoyed our dealings with Wentworth Gallery. Christina has guided us through the process of purchasing a beautiful piece of Australian art by Ken Knight.

This is the first time we have purchased a - for us - expensive work & it was good to have Christina's reassurance throughout.

We can certainly highly recommend Wentworth Gallery & would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

I've been purchasing artwork from Wentworth Gallery for over a year now. They have the best service and artworks. Christina goes above and beyond to help us find the right pieces of artwork for each space in our house. I would like to thank Christina and her team!!! Keep up the awesome work and look forward to purchasing more incredible pieces of artwork.
The selection of artwork is impressive! The staff are deeply knowledgeable and the business deals ethically with their artists. This is the right place to purchase Aboriginal artworks.
Great night at the gallery. Great display of Australian and oversea art. Friendly and helpful staff.

This is a truly special place. We walked into the gallery and were immediately drawn to a piece by Gloria Petyarre. Christina was really helpful, pulling down canvases for us to make a decision. In the end we did not purchase at the time. However, two years later, when we made a decision to buy, we contacted the gallery. Not only was Christina immensely helpful and responsive, but she remembered us. She made the whole process of purchase and shipping super easy and even offered advice on how to frame the piece. An amazing experience!
Bought some Necklaces for my wife and sister and Boomerangs for my friends as souvenier from Down Under in 22nd June 2022. The owner was quite friendly. Overall satisfied with the purchase though a bit costly.

Said Hello to Ome @ the store the rich art and heritage in this store@ Queen Victoria Building is phenomenal culture
Such professionalism, promptness and overall accommodating for my every need. Omid is such a credit to the Gallery going above and beyond to satisfy. Thank you so much, another amazing purchase. Arrived safely with such impeccable wrapping. Look forward to more dealings in the future. Best, Joe 👍🏽
We loved this Gallery. Its quite small but had a exhibition of artwork from our Indigenous artist. Had a big impact on my son. We talked about the issues raised. Had some juice and water. The chef was kind enough to offer us a parting gift in the likes of a gluten free banana bread. My son had it when we got back and was very impressed with the taste.
The staff was very accommodating, kind and polite. Highly recommended a visit if your in Brisbane.

We were invited to an opening night here. Being a relatively new Brisbanite, I was keen to explore this space... it was our first visit. The Gallery/bar/restaurant was easy to find, well signed at # 300 Adelaide Street.
The space was warm and welcoming. My partner LOVED the space and vowed that he'd love to visit everytime we come in to the city.
This was an opening night for Indigenous artists. It was such a privilege to hear stories of country, and see such beautiful, raw, thought provoking storytelling through art.
The hosts of the evening provided great food ( finger food including cooked crocodile bitesize chunks on sticks). (Apparently it is the healthiest food).
We're keen to return and sample the coffee and view more great art.
The gallery is worth visiting on a regular basis as the displayed art work changes. Whilst there you can enjoy a coffee and a snack or a more substantial meal. There is also a fine selection of wines by the glass or bottle to accompany your meal.

I loved going to this gallery's old temporary space and can't wait to see West End's new permanent space later this year. The director Anna Prifti is so passionate about her artist's shows and always so giving of her time. Plus, I love my new painting! So inspiring! Thank you Anna!

Friendly , approachable and knowledgeable Director and staff. Welcoming space. Dynamic arts program that supports living artists and adds to the cultural vibrancy of Melbourne
Some really interesting art on display here. Worth a visit.
Check this out, I saw Simon Nothling in here a few months ago and actually met the artist. Lots of local talent
Wonderful artwork. Always.
Don't get me wrong, a beautiful bar and a great experience, but since the renovations things have changed and it is not to the greatest quality anymore. The new decor is nice, it is also cold, the new menu is expensive for the most average foods, and the live music is gone, I enjoyed it much more before the renovations.

All though the changes I still believe it has a nice atmosphere and I would recommend this place for a quick drink.
wonderful gallery and wonderful people. SUPERB art!
Lovely staff, helpful flexible and supportive. Perfect space for our exhibition.
Great venue, great people, professional and compassionate... an awesome combination... and they have a great framer on the premises, too!
