My friend and I booked a swimming with whales experience and we had the most amazing experience that we could have asked for!
It was an incredible day, all thanks to Monica, our guide, and Adam, the captain.

Monica was awesome and made sure we were well-prepared and comfortable the whole time. You could tell she is really passionate, and her good energy was contagious! Adam did a great job by getting us to the perfect spots to see the whales up close and swim next to them. He made sure we had a great adventure!

The tour was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, we also got some cool photos and videos, and having such an awesome team made it even better for us!!! We will be forever grateful for it. Thank you so much Monica & Adam, keep doing a great job!! Absolutely unforgettable day!

This diving centre is the best in gold coast. I’ve been to many other diving centres but I believe they will be the best soon. I done the swim with whale adventure with Adam and Mike. They both were so kind and experts on this area. We faced whale so many times and finally able to swim with them 2 times(also with dolphins!!!). I will be back here again and have another chance for this great experience. Big appreciation for Adam and Mike!!!

We booked as a group of 3 friends, and we all had a whale of a time! (Excuse my pun)
Despite one of us getting a small bought of seasickness due to the slightly choppy water, we still got to see many whales and also dolphins.
The guys were very well informed, had great senses of humour and were also very kind, and took their time to make sure we saw as many whales as possible on our trip.

On our boat we also had some people that booked to go swimming with the whales so that was an also experience.

Was a very very good day…Happy smiling faces all round!

What a trip - an experience that made my heart sing. From the start to finish, can’t fault this opportunity and think it should be on everyone’s MUST do list. LOVED the smaller boat experience, just a handful of us on board, great crew. I would go again tomorrow… from the fresh sea air, the views of the city, the whales, the sharing of info and personable staff - and totally rate the skipper, handled the ocean like a pro.

Absolutely phenomenal jet ski tour experience! From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and enjoyable. The counter staff were friendly, efficient, and made the check-in process a breeze. A special shoutout to our guide, Shane, who truly made the tour unforgettable. His expertise, enthusiasm, and knowledge of the area were second to none. Shane ensured we were all safe while having the time of our lives on the water. My 9 year old son had a time of his life. The breathtaking views and thrilling ride were enhanced by his engaging personality and top-notch guidance. I can’t recommend this tour enough – it’s an absolute must-do!

Best experience EVER!! We had a whale of a time. Excellent crew. Can not recommend them enough. If you sit in the front be wary you may get wet so have a change of clothes and a towel. It was worth it though.

We had a fun and adrenaline packed experience with Jet Ski Safari. We felt safe and very well looked after by this very professional team. My only suggestion is that the timing needs to be explained a bit more clearly. We were told to arrive an hour before our departure time of 10,30am but spent a long time waiting around before we got out on the water. So the 90 minute tour actuallly took us nearly 4 hours in total as we didn’t get back til 1.30pm. It wasn’t a problem for us as we weren’t in a rush, but worth noting that you need to allow plenty of time for this experience. Having said all that, it was well worth it.

Amazing trip! Exciting but safe water sport. Ski in good condition. At start we've got a video class to show the safe ski driving behaviour. Our guide Harry is quite friendly and professional, really patient. I brought my mus as passenger, she's 50+ and she really enjoyed as well.

An excellent experience! Terrific, small, swift, comfortable boat. Knowledgeable,helpful and friendly crew.(thanks Mike and Adam)They were also respectful and passionate about the whales and dolphins. It was a great morning for those of us who watched the whales and dolphins but even more special for those who swam with the whales.

One of the best experiences I had around Australia! Mike and Adam were really nice and knowledgeable! I'm glad I chose a small boat for whale watching it is the best choice to do (especially with them)!
The conditions were stunning! Whales and their calves came so close to the boat it was unbelievable and as a bonus we even saw dolphins!

Fab morning out doing a first time scuba with my son. Instructor was great and very patient. Good value for money. Saw plenty fish and was diving for around half an hour. The boat trip was good too getting to the dive site.

Please read the recent reviews and be warned. Our own experience mirrors many. We booked online and fortunately only paid the deposit. We booked 4 jet skis for Saturday the 6th of April in the afternoon. The forecast called for less than 1mm of rain during the day. Dan texted that morning and said jet ski was off due to an updated forecast. See photos of forecast and sky at time of jet ski. I immediately called the number that texted and no answer. I texted that a 12 month credit wouldn’t work as we live in Victoria. No reponse. Still waiting for the credit. Buyer beware.

Was my first time jet skiing, and I’m so happy I came to this place. Got the full info on what to do prior to our departure from the dock. Shane demonstrated the rules and how to operate the jet ski perfectly. And Jack was a great leader when we were out on the water. Amazing experience, and an absolutely wonderful time here in the Gold Coast. Highly recommended! 🌊

I booked with another firm originally but I changed to this one, paying a little more for them because each time I rang with a question (4 different times!), my call was answered by the owner of the business. My teenage kids did the scuba dive, both first timers. Both had a fabulous experience and saw plenty of marine-life including a small stingray! Highly recommended.

One of our best experiences here in Queensland. Me and my husband really enjoyed it. Its our first time jetskiing, and Dan looked after us very well. He gave us a free drink too! Superb! Plus, the company’s jetskis look new, which made us feel safer, and the seats are very comfortable.
We loved the river safari tour. Its awesome!

Tip 1: wait for the confirmation message before you guys rock up to their place.
Tip 2: ask if you can jump off the jetski at the end. And take a boomerang photo. Lol. It’s a blast experience.

Great experience on jet ski ocean tour - friendly and helpful service

Wow. What a ride!!! It was worth the wait. My partner, daughter and son-in-law and I shared two skis and we were really lucky to be the only two skis on the tour. Jac was very patient, and spent a lot of time explaining things to me, as I was totally useless at driving. I appreciated this.
The biggest drawback was Jac’s lack of communication in trying to make the booking. This was our second attempt at doing the ride, and both times he was running well over an hour late each time. Very frustrating, but I’m so glad I persevered. It was well worth it in the end, and I would definitely do it again.

My son did his PADI open water course, Dave the Dive Instructor was really patient, he really ensured my boy understood and was aware of all requirements. Dave a massive thank you, LJ was full of compliments and praise for yourself and the team see you soon for some more diving.

After mum stressing over the choppy weather conditions and having minimal experience on a JetSki, we all had a blast of a time.
Jac was a sturdy guide, keeping everyone inline for safety while having a fun time on the water.
Don’t let the weather put a dampener on your experience because in the end, mum and the FamBam really enjoyed ourselves. The highlight was seeing mum dunked in the water right at the end of the ride.

My daughter and I went for our 1st JetSki experience with Jac.
We had a bit of a rocky start as I had booked for the wrong day 🥹 & was flying out at the time I had booked.
Jac could not have been nicer. He worked with us and we found another time for the day and off we went 🙌
The experience was amazing, Jac guided us so well, met us where we were at and then challenged us to learn new skills as we went along. His knowledge of the local area is outstanding.

We had a great time with jetski hire . our jetski guide Harry was amazing and we really appreciate his work. They instructed us throughout our safari. I really recommend this place for adventure.

Great afternoon out on the jet skis, had an absolute blast. Great fun, cool scenery and friendly staff. Definitely worth a try, would do it again. Mum (66) even had a blast despite being nervous, our guide showed her through the ropes and got her confidence up like a pro. Thanks for the great day out.

My friend and I did the 75 minute Jet Ski ride with Dan. Instructions were clear and easy, the jet ski was in great shape and Dan took us up the river and back down to near to the river mouth. Huge amount of fun. Dan was friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable. Awesome experience.

Best ever time with the guides Oli and Alex! Professional, caring and catered to exactly what we need, even though we changed our preferences so many times before the actual day. Did the 2.5 hour round trip and it was worth every single minute, went through the mangroves at high speed and even saw dolphins. Stopped over at tipplers with an amazing platter as well.

A must activity to do in Gold Coast. Whether there’s several spot and place but I’d recommend Jet Ski Safaris to go with as they’re very professional and friendly and they deserve 10 on 10. You guys are awesome, thanks again.

EDIT: After managing to catch the owner in person at the business operational site on Maroochy River (still no response via phone or email), Dan apologised, citing communication issues and immediately took action to refund our deposit (which has just processed a week later). Such a shame as the jet ski experience itself in the past has been brilliant (which is why we have repeatedly used this service in the past). We were willing from the start to simply re-book our jet ski experience but unfortunately this booking debacle has left a sour taste in our mouth, otherwise it would be a 5 Star review. The initial booking was for the 2/10/23 so officially took 20 days to get our deposit back and only through dogged determination on our behalf.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
DONT BOOK AND PAY ONLINE!! Over a dozen attempts this week to contact the business through unanswered calls and emails following a glitch in their booking system reverting our booking to a different time and day. Called the business 6 times on the day prior to our "booking" to ensure they were aware and left messages with no response. Have evidence in writing that our booking was cancelled at our end but tour guide Pete then called the next day to see where we were (no communication within the business either it seems). After no response from Dan (the business owner) I called back Peter who claims to be helping out Dan this week and would talk to Dan to sort out issue and returns my call to tell me deposit has been transferred back to our account and to email Dan again and he will send me a copy of the transaction. Still no response from Dan and still no money in our account. Further investigations have discovered this is a common issue this week, with no-one from business turning up for paid bookings and not responding to calls. We have used this business several times in the past but have never booked online, only paying on the day of the service when available. Turns out this is something that has happened time and again with no-shows from operators, unanswered calls and no refunds (according to previous reviews).

My partner & I did the River Jetski Tour, it was AWESOME! our instructor Pete was AWESOME! We had so much fun. If you want to learn how to ride a jetski & have an awesome time I recommend this !

Great experience today out on the water! Carl was very friendly and accomodating of our extended family of 7. With a diverse range of ages (11-50) and experience, we were given great advice on what craft would suit each individual so everyone felt comfortable. We took the option to extend our time, we loved it so much! We explored the beaches, saw stingrays and swam in the beautiful warm water. (Btw Thanks for the tip about fish and chips in the area - just the best :)

Honestly one of the best experiences that I will treasure for the rest of my life. I decided to do the experience as my birthday/Father's day present with my Dad. The old boy was a bit nervous when he found out what we had planned for him. But Jack was such a brilliant tour guide that he put my Dad at ease right away and he was more than happy to jump on the jet ski. Jack was such an amazing instructor that we had no trouble getting the hang of it and we were off powering across the water in no time at all. I 100% recommend this to anyone that is thinking about it. You won't regret your day with Jack at all 🙂

I had an incredible experience with Maroochy JetSki hire! The staff were friendly and professional, ensuring a safe and exciting adventure on the water. The JetSkis were well-maintained and easy to handle. The stunning coastal views and the thrill of riding the waves made for an unforgettable day. I can't wait to go back for more aquatic fun!

DO NOT RECOMMEND this company. If you are traveling as a family, keep in mind that your child may be refused boarding on a small boat. A trip on a small boat was booked, it was discussed that we will be with the child, we were told that the child does not need a ticket, the trip will be free for her (I have a correspondence with the tour operator where it is clearly written that the ticket is free for our child). When we arrived to go on a trip, Sofia (the owner of the company, as she said) told us that we could not take the child with us, because we needed to buy a ticket for her, and therefore we were denied the trip. I offered to postpone the trip to another date, we agreed, but no one postponed it. The money was not returned. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TRIP WITH CHILDREN TO ANYONE. If you want to save your nerves and money, avoid this company

What an awesome experience. I would highly recommend doing this. It was so much fun! We did the 1.5 hour tour which took us up to Tipplers on Stradbroke island and back. Thank you to our tour guides Tom & Harry for the best day. We will definitely be back.

We had a fabulous time on the whale watching trip. Everyone was so knowledgeable and helpful. We saw so many whales, up closer than I thought we ever would. We didn’t go swimming but everyone who did seemed to have a marvellous time.
I would recommend this tour as the small groups make it so much more intimate and they really cared about the whole experience for everyone. We saw a number of the bigger cruise boats overloaded with passengers and I’d have to say I’m so glad we did this trip.

It’s been well over a year since our experience with Jet Ski Safaris. We remember it well because the team and our experience was absolutely remarkable.

Fantastic morning on the Jet Ski Ocean Tour. Our tour guide was fabulous, extremely knowledgeable about the area and very relaxed. My 16yo and 12yo said the experience was the highlight of the trip. Will definitely come back again. Thankyou for an amazing morning on the water and the photos to take home to remember the experience. $$ well spent. My children will remember the experience forever.

Really good today guys, thank you for taking care of Phil (aka Squirrel), a dedicated kite surfer and sailor. He is vision impaired and suffers from aspergers syndrome and is required to be permanently helmeted on water, he really enjoyed his discovery dive dive time here.

His first time underwater at Manly Aquarium some 8 years ago.

He will be back on the Gold Coast late July for round 2, after engineering a custom solution to fit his mask and helmet safely underwater.

My 13yr old son and I had such a great time with Caloundra Jet Ski Hire. The jet skis are powerful and very responsive so great for the adventurous. My son got to have heaps of driving time which he was very happy with. Our guide Megan was lovely and friendly and ensured that everyone had a great experience.
Definitely want to come back and do the half day adventure next time😁

We hired kayaks and the process was quick and easy.
We were provided with life jackets and given clear instructions.
We kayaked along the opposite side from Sea World and were very delighted when we spotted a dolphin only 20mtrs away from us. It was affordable and very fun. Highly recommend.

This is a great spot for kayaking and we had perfect weather for it. These guys were super helpful and we were quick to get on the water

Super fun experience. We did the City Explorer as hubby is 73 and I’m not an adventure junkie so this was perfect for us. Jac was an excellent guide and was wonderful and patient with our nerves. The scenery around Pumicestone Passage is absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend!

Took a jet ski tour out to Mudjimba island. Instructor had a positive welcoming attitude which ensured the trip was fun but I also felt safe. Got to see airplanes landing while out on the ocean. Mudjimba Island is surprisingly large.

Booked a whale watching trip for my daughter and I and we had a great time. The sea was a bit rough which made me very nervous but Captain Pineapple and our guide Julianna were absolutely amazing and they're also very friendly and knowledgeable as well. So even though the sea was rough and the swell made it difficult we still managed to spot some whales with a bonus dolphin ride-along on the way back. Highly recommend!

Had an exhilarating time on the river safari for our honeymoon adventure with my wife. Dan our instructor was very professional and made the experience fun with all the twists and turns trying to keep up with him, pity our jetski throttle was limited haha😂 Maxing out at about 60kph going up river with tight turns and beautiful scenery was quite the experience then out to the mouth of the river, was a bit bumpy but overall fun! 10/10 would definitely do again.

Use these guys. They’re great at what they do and they love what they do. We went for a sail on the catamaran and Carl helped us out with a fun 30 minute lesson. After we had had a go on our own and beached the boat the wrong way, Carl told us what we did right and wrong, and encouraged us to go out and have another bash. I’m no sailor but I’ll definitely have another crack at it next time I’m here. Looking back, the struggle on the water was a highlight of the trip. Thanks!

We had such a great day with Caloundra Jet Ski. Jo who took our booking and rearranged a few things to fit us in with the ski tour we wanted, which was Glasshouse Twist. Jo was awesome with her communication keeping us up-to-date. Jack too was awesome our guide, he has a really good way about him with his instructions, coaching and guidance, he made the trip very enjoyable. Skis were in good shape and I got up to 76klm per hour at one stage, plenty quick enough for me! The day was picture perfect, scenery perfect water and beaches were also great. One of my best days for an outing. To top it off some really great places to eat and drink when you have finished. Thanks Jack and Jo for a great day.

This was such a fun thing to do with my friends and family who were visiting! I would definitely go again with my friends around here too. The crew make you feel super safe and welcome while you're still able to rip it up on the water. Good times!
