Magnificent I have to say, the indoor pool was perfect, just the right temperature for meto walk laps and physio for my old injuries.
Also perfect for doing laps.
The spa and sauna were also magnificent.
Friendly staff, clean change rooms and toilets and the lockers were also good. Although, something that nobody seems to get quite right apart from what I've currently seen at the Ringwood Melbourne indoor heated pool, is the lockers. Once we spectacled visitors take off our glasses it's darn difficult to see the combination numbers to dial in.
At this stage I know I'm knit picking, but last time I was at Croydon heated pool I had to bother the (awesome and friendly) staff to get my stuff out. They were great and it was pretty funny... Bit like that scene in the movie .. Something about Mary.. where that fella gets his tackle caught in his zipper 😬😬🍌🍒, enough said.
But our stuff is important to us and I'm sure we all appreciate the need for our phone and keys .
I digress, great place, awesome gym, friendly staff and easy to park and find .
Thanks and all the best.

I love this place. The staff is friendly and always eager to help.
Never saw it to be too crowded.

Ladies at the front desk are very kind and always willing to assist, several different services are available and they also offer FIRST AID TRAINING but have to book online.

i used to go to the junior gym in 2014, i only recently came back to lesire world thornlie, and i'm impressed and suprised about what they have done to the entire place, most of it brings back memories which is good but its good to see its still practically the same as it was when i was there, i go to the gym now its great there, the staff are cool and very patient, love it there

The 50-metre outdoor pool is excellent for lap swimming. There are free lockers for visitors. I swam here in May 2024 just as it was getting cooler and the water was toasty. Staff and patrons are friendly. Free motorcycle parking right in front of the complex.

Giving 1 star because you can’t give zero. Do not go here unless you want them to steal your money continuously then NEVER call you back when they say they will. They stole money every fortnight, refused to fix it, refused to call me or email me back. Definitely do not choose this swim school. They aren’t even good at lessons either. The only positive is the people in person are nice and kind. But absolutely no follow through to fix problems.

Today I went to the inside pool and stayed for the aqua aerobics.i just wanted to let you know that the inside pool was quite cool and when the aqua aerobics instructor opened the inside doors it made it much colder.i went over and informed her of this and many other people said the same.the older people with arthritis and other health issues find it harder with colder water especially when it is winter.me included.thanks
A really great gym with good equipment and wonderful staff. We just need to stop people hogging equipment by leaving their towel on it and then going to use another piece of equipment. Staff say take their towel off and place on floor, but this results in the offending member getting annoyed.

I attended the gym at 9 am. It was busy & a type of fitness class was happening at the same time, which was challenging for certain equipment. It's a small gym, so you do need to at times wait for equipment

Beautiful swimming pool with cleanliness and safe environment. Just not giving 5 stars due to poor customer service. It needs to improve. Thanks.

Just like any other swim area. But the outside bigger pool for school swimming events and practice was nice. A lot of trees and shade to sit and watch the children perform from close up which made it very exciting.
Being a first experience for me, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

✅️ Decently clean
✅️ Both outdoor and indoor pools
✅️ Easy parking
✅️ Plenty of showers
❌️ Always too crowded. Should limit how many people are let in at a time. Barely any room to swim in all the lanes during peak hours!

It’s a BCC run pool that had a lap pool, a heated indoor pool, and a play pool for children aged 4 and below. The staff are accomodating and the place is clean. The toilets and shower rooms are functional and not sloppy when draining all the water.
My friend and I went here and we loved it! Great view and the pool is a decent size. It might be a bit tricky to find a parking spot though if you bring a car.

Most teachers are great and attended. Place renovated clean and fresh. Enjoyed learning there until you had an account or admin query sometimes. Feels it has no support from head office and not all staff give the same info.

Love Aqua Life. it's a popular facility with four different types of pools and a gym ect. Really nice staff. You need to pick your times with various activities going on in the pools and sometimes all at the same time. Parking is good however can be more difficult when the facility is really busy. .

Love the water temperature. They have heated pools, spa and steam rooms. Not very busy when I attended ( 2 pm weekdays). Free lockers as well to store your stuff while you are swimming.

The only negative thing I noted and hope they work on is that the shower doors in male change rooms have no locks/the locks are busted. You can push the door to almost close it but you can't lock it. Maybe it's time for renovations.
The staff are exceptional, very helpful, and courteous.
Unfortunately, on occasion, we had to wait for 45 minutes for the Disability accessible shower change room while two children mucked around inside.
The staff were very obliging trying to find a solution.
Great staff.

Big thanks to Tess for our experience today for my son's 7th birthday. Well managed. Well maintained. Great location. Clean surroundings. Zero issues. Beautiful weather. Big shout out to the boys doing lifeguard also. Great interactions with the kids.

Will do it again. Thank you so much.
Awesome! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent swimming programs.
we used to get a coffee after physio pool session but since Cafe been taken over it is hit & miss if they will even make coffees! I understand not all staff are trained on the barista machine but don't put a big coffee sign out front if u are then going to put a small sign on counter saying No coffee or hot food available!!!!!..

The gated rock pool area was ok for kids if they had beach shoes on or an inflatable to float on to avoid the rocks, seaweed and many broken shells, that gave my son a cut on their foot.
There was toilets and shower area nearby but no carpark. Just street parking.

Such a great aquatic centre and affordable prices!
The owner is an absolute horrid lady. Arrogant, conceited, demeaning, rude, unprofessional, uneducated. You name it this woman has it, in the worst possible way. She also tried to provide some nasty misinformation to a client, and unfortunately that was just the icing on the cake. Would happily take legal action if the client wasn’t so scared of her. Don’t know how anyone tolerates her. Lookout for the gaslighting comment she leaves on all reviews that are less than perfect too. Here’s hoping she goes out of business once the new pool in West Bundaberg opens 🤞🏽
It is difficult to communicate with Sue or Harrison. The role responsible of swim school. After a week of everyday failing to call and finally the receptions gave up walked over and tapped Sue on the shoulder to answer the call. If you want to book a room for a birthday, they do not allow children under 5 or over 12. Age discriminated. This System need to change and better communicate. Such a waste time to calling everyday for a week.

My request from the leisure world through the swimming pool is, please open the water slide earlier before 11 AM on weekends for kids. Weekends are the only days parents can spend time with kids. And kids love water slides. Please open it before 11 AM so kids can enjoy the swimming g pool.
Good place to swim but the (men's) facilities are disgusting. Only one of the three showers has a door, there is mould on the walls and the hinges and locks are rusting.

The toilets also look like they haven't seen a brush in years.

Update: Rejoice, cleaning has finally been done. Noticeably cleaner than last time I was there. Doors are still on the way apparently.

The swim school is great.
The venue is awesome but during the weekend there are swimming lessons until 1pm and there was a short queue for the public change room. I would suggest to go after 1pm during weekends. Other than that, good customer service and swimming pool. Can watch swimming competitions for free if you are lucky.

Update 23/12/23: the bathrooms have been renovated! They now have a beautifully clean bathroom and change room area. There are a couple toilets, but only two showers so that is the only downside- you may have to wait a bit for the showers. But other than that, love it!

My go to pool since moving here. It is a decent sized pool with good amounts of parking and good seating areas too. The place is currently under construction so there is no outdoor water bubbler or clock, and the change rooms, toilets and showers are makeshift ones (which are sometimes not very well cared for or maintained by the patrons). Overall, however, the pool is great. I use the outdoor one, which is 25m. It is not heated, but has about 6 lanes for swimming or playing. Depending on the time you come, there may be squad swimming or training, so just keep that in mind. There is an indoor, heated 14m pool that the children generally play in.

The staff/ service here is up and down. Some of the staff are great, friendly and hardworking. Others seem to just stand around and don’t even really bother to greet you.
Fun to walk around where the Olympics have been held and to see how they repurpose the areas. They have done a really nice job here with that. There is a water park in there!
My kids like to swim here, we been come here every want to pool. There is have family change room that you can use for your own family in a room. Also there's have disability access for swim and shower. So far we like it.
It is certainly great place to be with kids. But I seriously doubt about their maintenance management. Why it is so hard to keep shower water in right temperature in shower? It is shockingly hot and impossible to adjust temperature. Considering how many people with disability visit there, it is really concerning. Can you please go and check how hot the water is in woman shower? I already informed this and got better for a while but back to freaking hot.
Why it is so hard to fix the broken doors of the bathroom. I doubt even the quality of recent renovation as lots of things are already broken. Is that all our GOV afford or our tax is leaking somewhere else?
the place is amazing and its fun to go especially with the 32degree indoor pool though there's a lot of rude elder people since my mum took me and my cousin to the swimming pool and when my cousin was splashing around, just being a kid.

an elder couple was splashed, the husband didnt care meanwhile the wife started to scream at my cousin and the staffs just told us to stay away and my cousin was crying for the rest of the experience.

although we came back and we had fun.
This Olympic pool is a haven for swimmers! It's incredibly well-kept, and the glistening water tempts you to jump right in. The amenities are excellent, providing plenty of room for both practice and contests. The staff is professional and always ready to help, making sure everyone stays safe and has a good time. The water temperature is just right, and the lanes are clear for easy swimming. Whether you're a serious athlete or just swimming for fun, this Olympic pool is like a wish come true. I highly recommend it for its outstanding quality and unbeatable swimming experience!
Great pool. My kids and us absolutely love swimming here. Nice clean and neat and great staff! I do wonder if you can offer autistic severity level 3 children swim lessons (3 yo) and prices of you do ☺️
It's a great place for families, adults, and even kids , you can spend a nice time enjoying and relaxing
Unfortunately this was the dirtiest indoor pool I have swum in. Murky water and floating slime were evident whilst swimming(13/6/23). I have swum most days in many pools in each town that we stop in over recent months. Change rooms were ancient with open showers and change areas. Hopefully the new aquatic centre will be completed for our next stay.
Went there > 30 times, always worked ok for me. The only complaint is the coffee shop there is often late for opening, so I wouldn't rely on it
Lovely ocean pool. Not terribly busy and has outdoor showers and toilets. Obviously not as solid on amenity as other pills, but that's the flip side of not being packed with people!

A popular pool especially in summer season. Outdoor and indoor heated pools with an amazing water park for young children. Gets quite busy over weekends
Good family day out to be had here. I can easily spend 4 hours plus with the kids. Rushing water pool has water jets that propel you around. Splasher area ideal for younger kids with small slides, big splash from the tipping bucket, and variety of fun water play activities. Big slide for older kids or hang in warmer jacuzzi pools. Four hours free parking.
The kiosk girls were very friendly and let our 8 n 10 yr olds access to the 25mtre heated pool very early in morning... Great to see all the families and learning swimming toddlers there. Awesome service and lovely lay out with 3 or 4 different pools.. highly recommended!!
It's a place with a pool :/
The ladies in reception are lovely. The swim teachers however, not so much. If you have a child with disabilities don't expect an understanding approach to their lessons. They'll have them sit on the side for the majority of the lesson for being 'naughty', their self esteem crushed and just when your child may warm up to a teacher and begin to show progress, there will be a teacher change without warning. We only swam there for 2 months and had 3 different teachers in that time. I guess I'll just teach my own child to swim.
Super swimming centre.
Closed Friday 9th September as we travel 30min to the pool it was very disruptive for my client as she and most people who attend the classes have mobility issues. Suggestion have regular visitors updated on new events, water aerobics info and closures. Thanks
Not allowed to conduct private lessons with private clients????
A great centre for little children with the fun splash play area out the back! I think for older children 7+, I'm inclined to take them to one of the bigger aquatic centres. This one is perfect for pre-school aged children or if you live super local I guess.

Awesome place to host the kiddies bdays the whole party loved it kids absolutely enjoyed themselves both in kiddies pool on slides and with the Inflatable hire. The two lifeguards monitoring the Inflatable were awesome and attentive with the kids 1hr for $100 was more then enough time for the kids, they each got wrist bands to wear. Probably only con was having to sit by and watch the other kids wanna jump on too but werent allowed wanted to say its OK but one OK leads to all kids are OK which would've meant the kids of the party miss out lol...

But all in all we got two tables and two gazebos and because noone booked we got the third gazebo and helped ourselves to two more tables. Ended up having the BBQ all day as noone hired. Not that we needed it. But the centre are pretty lenient and lifeguards are awesome. Will probably have more summer fun here in the future. Great work thanx for accommodating us Runcorn.. Cheers
Staff are fairly good. Saturday mornings are tricky for Parking lately. Limited car spaces ,as so many people there for children's swimming lessons. Have been using this facility for quite a long time. Amenities are clean, as is pool.
Gorgeous little beach tucked quietly away. Wonderful ocean pool. Far from the noise and annoys of other beaches. A new favourite of mine
Favourite ocean pool in the northern beaches, perfect for morning or evening laps. Look out for the octopus. Toilets and showers are well kept and clean.
Staff is always really welcoming and helpful
This place is one of my favorite place to have a quiet swim, at sun set. The view is breathtaking. The beach is tiny and beautiful. Showers and toilets provide comfort. No direct access by car which gives an additional character to the place. A walking path along the bay is the main access. Enjoy the wide view on the bay, the ferries, sailing boat, and swim some laps in one of Sydney gorgeous rock pools.

So amazing! The staff are so friendly and welcoming! Thank you for looking after Mia for her first time at swimming lessons. Definately will be back every week! :) Thanks ladies x
They have two pools. One indoor heated pool and an outdoor 25m pool. The outdoor pool remains at 27°C. I tend to go around lunch time and there is always a free lane to do laps. The staff are also great. The only downside is that diving is not allowed...which is strange considering there are diving blocks.
Whilst my children were playing with the balls in the water I had one of the workers walk up and ask for one of my children to give him the ball they were playing with urgently and then walked over to another parent with their child that he happens to know on a friends basis and gave the ball he took from my daughter to the other child. Meanwhile there were balls in the pool that wasn't being played with he could have taken.
Not happy. Took from a happy child to give to another and left the happy one upset not a cool thing at all. So very disgusted in his behavior.

Then to call and make this complaint and to find out it was the actual owner who has done this!!! How disgraceful!

My favourite tidal pool, not too crowded at this beach but parking can be difficult. There's restrooms and a change room available. This is along the Manly to Spit walk. One of many gorgeous little beaches.
good facilities - kids outdoor play area should be heated during winter, or just turned off though
