If there is only one hike you have time for/ one attraction to visit in the Springbrook National Park, I’d recommend this one.

It’s an absolutely beautiful walk with different terrain and also caves I have never seen before. When you get towards the end of the walk (closer to the falls), you can choose between two paths- one goes up and through caves, where you end up walking behind the waterfall, the other goes down and through the bush until it opens up to the waterfall. Both are good and you can choose one for the way in and one for the way out. I don’t know any other location where you can walk behind the actual falls!

Beautiful walk. It had just rained so the waterfalls were pumping. A tree had come down over the path in one section but that just added to the adventure of trying to navigate over/around it. It took us less than an hour to walk to the falls & back.

Twin Falls is a stunning destination that I highly recommend exploring when you're in the Gold Coast.

We completed the Twin Falls circuit starting from Tallanbana, which took us about two hours. The hike is relatively easy, featuring well-maintained paths and stairs throughout the trail.

We were captivated by the beautiful scenery and the vibrant birds we encountered along the way. For those seeking more of a challenge, there's another trail designed for experienced hikers that takes about six hours to complete.

Additionally, there are restrooms available just before you begin the trail, and parking is convenient at the Tallanbana entrance.

Simple but lovely views from Kirra Hill Lookout. You get a clear view of the beach and the ocean, making it a good spot for photos. There are a few benches where you can sit down and relax. It’s not crowded, so it’s nice for a quiet moment to yourself. Nothing too fancy, but a pleasant stop if you’re exploring the area.

The place was BEAUTIFUL and amazing. The waterfall was a real beauty. And my kids loved climbing and jumping on the rocks. The low level takes 2 hours to return and the long one takes 6 hours.
Bring friends, It was amazing.

The best circuit trail for me by far. 14 km hike is fun and at the same time agonising for newbies like me.but overall , it’s worth the hike!
It’s a private entrance.

My favorite hiking spot in the Gold Coast hinterland offers two options: a quick 10-minute walk to the falls or a one-hour track. I highly recommend the longer track. You'll enjoy several stunning overlooks of the hinterland, a relaxing walk through the forest, and a more rewarding arrival at the waterfall. It can get quite busy here in the morning, so keep that in mind if you’re looking for a secluded area. There’s also a third walking track here that takes about 5 to 6 hours.
So so so 👌 beautiful place 🌊🌊🌊🌊❤️

An absolute top spot for an outing on the Gold Coast. An easy walk suitable for all ages. Takes about 2 hours at a leisurely pace. Take your camera for some great photos. In winter, bring warm clothes as it is much cooler up at Springbrook.
Come to this place a lot on my bikerides or walks for a rest and enjoy the view and the quiet
Watched the rain clouds coming in then headed home.
But my wife and I absolutely love this place whatever the weather!
Always take a pic of the kids here since birth.

Great place; shallow lagoon good for fishing, other portion has shallow water for kids and one big adult rockpool. $10 per hour parking metre.

This place is open to the public with no tickets required, feel free to bring your family and friends here to enjoy the sunrise and sunset moments together. It also has a BBQ facility, you might need to book in advance.
Nice lookout. A short walk from the parking spot.

Great hidden gem for a look over Kirra, nice spot for a picnic, even gas public bbqs to use, only downside is no public restrooms, and as its a small spot parking can be tricky.

Stunning view overseeing Kirra beach and Coolangatta! Especially during sunset, it is spectacular! Also you may find a local animal that lives up on this hill 🦃

An excellent walking track leads north from this lookout. Lots of up and down steps with stunning views along the way. Takes about an hour return.
The Kirra Hill Lookout offers spectacular views of the Gold Coast skyline and the beautiful coastline. From this vantage point, visitors can take in panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, Surfers Paradise, and the surrounding hinterland. The lookout is located at the top of a hill, which requires a bit of effort to reach, but the effort is certainly worth it.

The lookout is also home to a large grassy park area where visitors can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The park is well-maintained and provides plenty of seating areas for visitors to take a break and enjoy a picnic or simply bask in the beautiful scenery.

One of the best things about Kirra Hill Lookout is that it is free to visit, making it an excellent option for those on a budget. Additionally, the lookout is accessible to visitors of all ages and abilities, with easy access ramps and parking available for those with mobility issues.

Overall, the Kirra Hill Lookout is an excellent location to visit for anyone looking to enjoy stunning views of the Gold Coast and surrounding areas. With its beautiful park area and easy accessibility, it is an ideal spot for a family picnic or a romantic sunset stroll. If you're in the Gold Coast area, I highly recommend visiting Kirra Hill Lookout.

A short walk from Neil Hawkins Park to reach this lovely lookout.
Amazing Hike, beautiful waterfalls. Definitely a must see for Gold Coast Scenic lovers
A unique hilltop with gorgeous views of the Kirra beach coastline, looking across the pond at the goldcoast skyline and southwards along beautiful Coolaangatta Beach. The facilities on the top have been recently upgraded providing a large covered area with tables, benches, a BBQ and believe it or not a hot water boiler on tap for tea or coffee. Only in Australia!
It's a nice way to get to Cataract Gorge rather than taking a car and missing out on all the natural beauty. This walk is definitely not accessible, as there are minimal signage, plenty of steps and very steep sections both uphill and downhill. If that does not bother you, I highly recommend!

It's a nice place nice view, and can walk to beach down track, nice for photos.
A nice local and hidden beach. Looking south and you’ll Long Reef headland and golf course.
Nice short walk, scenic ocean views. Stairs on hills.
A lovely location to have a stop on your walk around the lake

Walk a while and you will see, a pleasant view through the trees. What should you spot at Cataract Gorge's favourite stop? Why a delightful vista of course.
The most beautiful spot in the world. On this most beautiful sunny clear morning, heaven is not far behind the Northern Beaches. Living here is a gift and a privilege. Been all over the world few times over, Sydney and the Northern Beaches are second to none. Come and see for yourselves. Cheers.
The pic say's it all
Beautiful track that connects King bridge and Gorge Swimming Pool. This walk could be steep with stairs and not suitable for prams. It offers a lovely view over the gorge. We did it in less than 30 minutes but it is expected that it can take more time. Suitable for runners.
Nourished fabulous coffee on Xmas Day. The bridge that us Northern Beaches residents must not cross.

Great place to look out. Easy to access and great view!
Located at a quiet suburban area. Great view of the beach from the top. Few steps to reach the lookout.
It's a lookout point on the walk from Neil Hawkins Park. Nothing else to say. The view is ok but becoming masked by growing trees.
Lovely views and well maintained facilities surrounding the paths and parks.
Great little hideaway treasure - so close to suburbia & yet so removed. A simple, well built platform with a bench seat (or plenty of room on the limestone to sit), well nestled in the bush so the bird life is a joy, & the views over the lake are lovely.

Very tranquil & peaceful lookout, though we came across a huge snake crawling out of bush 😱
This is a stunning walk and definitely worth the walk, there is some truly breathtaking views on this walk .
You can view the ocean and cliffs from several locations and it’s a great spot to see the whales as they pass through.
I have done this walk twice and enjoyed it every time .
The walk there is therapeutic with all the sounds and views of nature. The view is absolutely lovely.

Beautiful beach when you can enjoy snorkelling, swim and lie down on the sand. You can choose to stay in a calm sea or if you want to enjoy the waves you can find it all on the same beach. Love Narrabeen.

Awesome walking track. Amazing something so beautiful is so close to the city. No excuses to not exercise in Launceston with these trails around... Lots of steps, so be prepared to sweat up a storm and puff your lungs out! Enjoy!
Very relaxing area.
Beautiful walk around lake joondalup.
This place offers one of the best morning views in Sydney. I have gone there in early morning to see the sunrise but due to bad weather and cloudy sky there was no sunrise to thrive for. but as the light started to peep through the clouds I was being astounded by its majestic view.
PS. It's just 20-30 mins drive from the city. So you don't need to plan for a drive to go there.

The Boardwalk provides an excellent opportunity to enjoy the view along the beach and the dunes without having the trapes through the sand if have walking difficulties or don't want to get sandy.
Good place to see the sunrise
Great little park and view
I'd like to call this my secret spot. Not so secret I guess.
Nice and easy little climb and walk. Little effort for a quick escape with an amazing view over part the Narrabeen lake, the swimming pool and the beach from Narrabeen to Collaroy. If trailing from Narrabeen to Mona Vale this stop is a Must!
Very clean, looks very new (sign says 2007), toilets, BBQs, cold shower and water supply, hilly lawn areas. Very calm surrounding. Couldn't be better for a rest or a Sunday picnic.
