Easy free parking near the look out
Can park near the visitor center
Short walk around 50m to the lookout
Peaceful and quiet
No public toilets around here so make sure you void your bladder before coming here
Great view, shady tree on a hot day. Perfect.

My plein air watercolour painting in the late afternoon. February 2024. Great views of the Swan river.
A picture tells a thousand words, perfect sunrise watch & taking selfies etc
Easily one of the most beautiful views in Sydney. Perfect to have a picnic

So beautiful lookout. You must experience it at least once. There are seats to sit but no toilets. Better to go in the morning or evening

A great starting point for many beautiful walks. There are some picnic spots and public BBQ’s plus toilets close by. Lots of free parking.

This place should be delisted as an Outlook spot. No visible of the sea due to tree cover.
Very family friendly place. Saw a lot of kids having fun, and picking berries from the bushes.
Even though it is saying closing time is 6:00pm but I assumed the DST is not considered here, and we could go out around 6:15pm.

Great little viewpoint with wonderful views over the less built-up parts of the city. It was really peaceful on my visit since there was no one else there but there’s a few car park spaces making it convenient. Even if you’re not in the immediate area it’s worth taking a detour to check out.

Visited during my vacation. A beautiful place where you can see the gold coast skyline from miles ahead. And hundred thousand of trees all the way. Amazing lookout on the way to main attractions.

Small Information center with leaflets and maps. Easy parking. This place is located in a one way traffic area but still you can enter the parking lot from the other way too. No washrooms here.

Open 24 hours.

Recommend place to visit and walk along the lake or to do BBQ and to enjoy the lovely view of the lake
Great views down the coast and up to the new marina under construction. Best of all....it's free
Visited after a few days of rain, the waterfall looked great, it's a beautiful walk, fern city, streams, birds, giant old gum trees and the odd black snail. The falls are visible from a viewing platform some distance away, you can't get to the base of the falls easily if at all, (very steep and sketchy terrain, especially when wet). Track was very muddy and slippery after recent rains, so if you plan on going when wet good waterproof footwear helps. The walk is about 5km or 2.5 to 3 hrs return, little kids might struggle, middle aged overweight adults might also struggle, but with a few short rests to recover along the way it's doable. Just give yourself plenty of time and daylight.

A very pleasant walk to a lookout looking across to the Falls. Suggest an afternoon walk to get the best light on the Falls. Sign at car park is confusing, distance to the Little Aire Falls is 2.6km each way. I did the return walk, taking photos and did the circuit walk around to the Triplet Falls in 2 hrs 40 minutes, total 6.69km. From the car park, track descends steps and little aire Falls walk branches off to the left. Muddy in parts, the worst section is after the third board walk creek crossing until the track picks up an old tramway formation (c 0.8 to 1.3km) from car park. Final 1.3km is mostly on more gravelly path. About 380 m total ascent and total descent for complete trip. Beautiful forest.
Beautiful place .bring your tea coffee there . Switch off your phone and feel the beauty of it
Beautiful views and great to bring a picnic basket and blanket. Love this spot!

Its a good lookout but literally no facilities. Keep that in mind, no nearby cafes, no proper place for picnic. A good place for hiking though
A great place to unwind. Green and pleasant. If you have kids, there's a park for them to play and you can sit and enjoy while your kids are busy playing!
Very healthy for walking or running upstairs and down. Cycling is possible but look out for the pedestrians. Take your bike up and down the stairs. The narrow view of the cityscape is not very pleasant because of the trees and woods.
Lovely place to have a walk and enjoy the scenery.

It's clean and well kept.

Today had a rather overcast sky with minimal rain, enhancing the beauty of this scene. It's definitely one of the finest spots to chill and de-stress.
Overlooking the motorway is better than being on it
It's a high place from where you can see residential around. It's not the typical lookout where views are stunning.
We planned to have our lunch there, but the bench top had vulgar scribbling on. Embarrassing.
A green hill for sitting and enjoying this spectacular view with jungle, green hills, and cloudy sky in the background. (There were too many benches, and some barbies, none of them worked)

Great views and good track although although steeper than 'light to medium' as indicated. Watch out for a kookaburra that steals food from your hands.

This place is big enough for you to sit in your own spot without people too close. It's dog friendly and has a couple of picnic tables (not many though). Great area for picnics with a nice view. It's accessible at all times, just park on the street instead of the park's carpark, which closes overnight. There are bins provided for rubbish and enough trees for shade. Nice and peaceful :)
One of the best spots for a sun rise during the winters
One of my favourite park in Melbourne. It's really beautiful and nice to walk along next to the river.
Really nice park with lots of large old fig trees. There is a playground and it's close to a swimming pool. It's exceptionally good at sunset where you can sit near the waterfront under a tree, with views of the bay, Cockatoo Island and Marinas. It's quite picturesque.

This was one of those walks where I should have read the sign! It took me nearly 2.5 hours. The old wooden sign says 2.5km I think and the newer one say 4.5km but my phone tracked over 7km as a looo and in my experience this felt more accurate. It was extremely wet and I was grateful for good comfy waterproof boots. Lots of steps and reasonably difficult but well worth the view at the end. At least all the rain made for a good waterfall.

One of the best lookouts for viewing Sydney Harbour, top spot to view the new year fireworks 🎆 amazing harbour views, and is minutes walk to hermitage foreshore walk Vaucluse, worth checking out for the amazing Sydney harbour views, I went to watch the Sydney new year fireworks 🎆 it was really crowded not like last year. Nevertheless I took photos 📸 and videos of the fireworks!

Really pretty at night (my video doesn’t do justice lol). You can see the Sydney CBD skyline. If you come here at night, the rangers come by 7PM to close the park gates (don’t worry if you’re still inside, a human can literally go around the gates, cars won’t be able to tho). The off-street parking is also just a 2 minute walk so just park outside.

We went here to do astrophotography and it was beautiful and clear.

No toilets tho

A lookout which is not too far from Olinda.
This has two huts with BBQ facilities.
Toilets as well as parking is also available at this location.
My 2yr old loved it but i think my 15yr old nephew loved it more
Nice spot for relaxation. Beautiful place, amazing view. A hidden gem. Great lookout.

A beautiful place to have a picnic whilst overlooking the dam.
Pretty calming feeling. Many picnic spots available.
There is a playground for kids. Variety of equipment available.
Plenty of toilets available. Barbecues close to the picnic sheds and many are available.
Well maintained place. Highly recommended place a good chill out.

A quite place especially if you go there during a non holiday period.
There are lots of open areas, benches and a few bbqs for a family gathers.
Toilet facility is acceptable.
I would certainly recommend for a visit.

A small bench is there to sit and admire the views from the lookout. The lookout is on the side of the road and it could get busy so sometimes it maybe hard to stop and park and also has very limited parking.

If you visiting Otway tree top, you don’t want to miss this beautiful hiking place. It’s one of the good tracks I have been too in recent times. It’s mix of a track in a beautiful and mesmerising rain forest. Walk along side the beautiful trees and lovely fauna along the way. The track is mix of both steps, highs and low pathway. Track itself is approx 2.5km long one way but it’s worth doing it and watching the amazing fall. Watch out for a weather conditions before you go for to do this hiking. Forest is pretty dense and not ideal for rainy day. On your way to fall you’ll come across few little tiny water ways which look awesome. For nature and bird lovers you will hear serine sounds of trees and birds in the background, which truly is relaxing and away from city noise. Worth giving a try and watch this magnificent water fall.
An amazing spot for a bbq and a view. When driving into the Yan Yean park, for once, trust Google Maps and not the arrows the park has placed for a lookout.

The actual lookout has a wide view over the water, a gazebo, and several places to sit, and several BBQs. It never is too busy to find a nice quiet spot in the shade or on one of the round tables.

Great spot, great views

Grade 4 hike which was 5.5km (return) and takes approximately 2-2.5 hours. Extremely muddy so need shoes with good grip, but ground was pretty even with some steps. View of the waterfall was pretty.

Beautiful views and very peaceful. Worth a stop although not much else to do our see other than the one vista. Beautiful nonetheless
Great views over the swan river! Nice green grass areas to just relax and take in the scenery
Small lookout overlooking Tania Park with sweeping views over Sydney Harbour and also looking west. A short stroll up the hill from the amenities building and playground area at Tania Park.

5 star rating reflect an easy stop on the way to the attractions of Springbrook national Park. This is not a lookout you want to visit in its own right (it's very far from anything), but is worthwhile stopping as there is easy parking nearby

Little Aire falls is a long walk leading up to a viewing platform from afar. You can see the waterfall really clearly from the platform but was disappointed that you could not get down closer to the waterfall. The walk involves a lot of steps but apart from that the track is not difficult. Triplet falls is also in the same area and I would recommend doing both waterfalls on the same day.

A beautiful hike, a little more challenging than Triplet Falls but some beautiful scenery along the way to make it worth while. Be sure to pick your time of day as I was there around lunch time and the sun UV made it difficult to capture photos. All in all was still impressed and would recommend

A beautiful hike with less traffic than Triplet Falls (both start from the same point in the car park). It's moderately difficult, more so than Triplet Falls - I'm unfit and had to stop a few times to catch my breath, but anyone with good or better fitness would find it easy I think! Take the time to look up at some of the massive gumtrees along the way.

Be aware that Little Aire Falls is not 2.3km return like the sign at the car park says, it's closer to 6km return. The track has a couple of forks so take a mental note of which route to return on your way back, but all up it's an easy track to navigate. A few muddy spots.

The falls are viewed from a platform and while it would be nice to get down closer to the base, the view is still absolutely beautiful. The walk itself is worth it for the thick forest.

The carpark has picnic tables, rainwater and long drop toilets.

Great view towards entrance to the Harbour.
I followed the google map direction and we ended up in a street and all houses! Someone update this address if the lookout still there. Lucky we didn’t drive far to get here.
Fantastic lookout point. Place to sit down after a long ride on the bike path or a walk. Quiet most of the time.

Wonderful lookout. Relatively short walks, with stairs, to view the Twin Falls.

Though walking the circuit may be challenging for any with mobility issues, or relatively low fitness. Allow sufficient time and pacing is recommended. Also is bringing a bottle of drinking water.

Swimming in the base of the southerly Rainbow Falls is doable.
Views are nice around this area, but the foliage around the viewing platform is quite think and it is difficult to see a lot of the view. The Canning Reserve is well worth the walk for a lovely nature walk high above the river at the Canning Reserve Lookout.

So beautiful. We went for a walk around the place, then stopped and had a picnic looking at the beautiful view. It was a gorgeous day and I could see so far. It's a lovely spot, even if the road down there is a little steep!
