This may be just the BEST restaurant in São Paulo so far. The food was simply AMAZING, the service was excellent and the price was really fair.

I'd come back often to try different dishes.
Always nice food and drinks. Perfect service. Easy parking

So seems that we eat better French food in São Paulo than in Paris. Shame on you Paris! shame on you! le Jazz serves perfectly executed french vernacular cuisine.

I have had several bad meals here. I have learned my lesson. Poor cuts of meat and very overpriced. There are 10 options on the street better than this place. Expensive for what you received. Terrible wine list. Hotel restaurant. Total hustle.

The worst meal so far in São Paulo on this trip! Once a world class restaurant, now Chef Rouge is an unmitigated disaster. Expensive, limited menu, heavy sauces (not the delicate French sauces they once boasted), and such a disappointment! Many other restaurants in the area are half as expensive & have much better food. No wonder the place is empty! Stay away!!!!
Lovely bistro, kind staff. I choose not he entrecôte and my meat is always very well done and they did it perfectly. The waitress even asked me to cut and see if I was happy. The sauce was very nice.Dessert creme brûlée and the egg foam 👌🏽

The beef is ok but I came for lunch set, so they might have better steaks at other times and for other parts. The side dishes are amazing though and they kept coming and giving me more. I was satisfied that I could try a variety of them. Also really like their fries and farofas.

Overall ok.
The view is good, but the restaurant itself is average. Service lacked attention and service staff seemed lost, not sure of what the dish of the day was, taking about 20min to bring water to the table, among other things. Food was good but the lack of description on the menu makes it incredibly hard for people with dietary restrictions (then once you ask the waiter that the dish is made of they seem to have no idea). Service fee of 13% instead of the regular 10% felt like a ripoff considering the service we got.

Historic restaurant on the square, la Casserole offers amazing cocktails, a decent wine selection and decent french food.
The steak tartare I ordered was coming without an egg yolk, and the presentation of it was really ugly (looks like someone puked in my plate) but the fries (although without any salt, common in Brazil) where delicious.
The service was slow (in particular drinks) and the waiters wouldn't be able to tell me what on their menu had gluten or lactose...

It’s indeed a very good French place. The name screams French and so the menu. It’s definitely upscale and expensive but it’s worth it. The wine selection is also quite good. I actually might go back.

Excellent beef steak restaurant.
We ordered CANAPÉ DE TARTAR DE SALMÃO, ENTRECÔTE PREMIUM BLACK ANGUS and FILET MIGNON DE CORDEIRO.
Their meets were very delicious and tender even ponto mais.
If you order a meet, it is including Potato, grilled onion, lasagna, spinach and so on.
They will serve it after your meet is ready on your table.

I'm upset about my carbonara... It was too salty, I used to that egg should go on the top of pasta and sauce should be creamy. And also price for this meal is too high.
Wine was good, so I will give 3 stars instead of 2.

The food was very good, so was the Ambiente. However it takes too much time to get the food for me.
It took 45+ minutes just to get the entry. It took 90+ minutes total for a full menu. Too long for a lunch…

After this meal, I told my wife that I hope we get food this good while in Paris when we travel there in June. The ambiance is great, and our table had a wonderful view into the tiny kitchen were 5 cooks and a dishwasher were pumping out amazing French food. The bread and butter were phenomenal. The tuna tartare was very fresh. The duck with mandarin was cooked perfectly and the potatoes were so creamy. And my wife loved the goat cheese salad with a fresh, light dressing. The chocolate with macadamia nut pie was superb as well. This restaurant is truly a little gem in Pinheiros.

I am looking forward to return to Le Bife. Not only was the food incredible and the steak delicious, but I loved the side dishes which are given out in abundance - all of which left me wanting more. The service at Le Bife is fantastic and the staff treat allergies with the utmost importance and care. Our waiter, Sydney, was kind, empathetic, and helpful and I think the whole staff quickly new about my allergies (nuts and tomatoes) and took good care of me. The service was so good we had to pass on our appreciation to the manager who was equally nice. I’ll be back soon.

Traditional French restaurant in the lovely, but run-down, Largo do Arouche. I didn't find the menu or food very authentically French, but the food was still a very tasty take on Brazilian/French food. The dining room is beautiful and service was efficient and attentive.

During weekdays there is an interesting two course menu offered for R$56 or three course menu for R$64 on offer, with two or three different choices for starter, main course and dessert. Drinks on the pricey side, but not outrageously so.

Definitely recommended for French-inspired food in a beautiful setting.

The view at this restaurant is not the only great feature. It also offers some good quality food with a great variety of dishes.

Drinks were really good as well.
This is a great alternative to the neighboring rooftop (Terraco Italia) which feels outdated.
Contrary, this restaurant is casual and very welcoming.

With a Jazz memorabilia everywhere this french style restaurant is nice and has a good menu. Meat is my option of choice (either the poivre and moutard)
We ordered delivery through i food!
Camembert empanado, Presunto serrano, Le jazz salad grande, Steak tartare, Baby beef angus, Farfalle au postou eu Chevre, Langue a lá moutarde, L’ Entrecote for five of us.
Food was well packed and good quality!
It’s of course nicer eating at the restaurant however we really enjoyed and appreciate the delivery service!
We especially loved Camembert empanado(Cheese)and Farfalle au postou(Pasta with pesto).
A must go in SP!
We took a long time to decide on what to eat and for sure didn’t get the octopus wrong!
As you can see, for the desert we just had to order it all!
Great place for a weekend lunch when you have no rush, so there’s enough time to enjoy the experience.

It is a gem of a place in a quieter side of Bela Vista / Consolação region. Lovely French bistro mixing a somewhat Montmartre vibe with a bucolic Paulista avenue atmosphere. I love going there with friends to chat, eat great quiche and drink fine wine. Great service/ food for a reasonable price. On Thursdays and Fridays they serve a delicious lamb couscous that is very well served and delicious!

nice & cozy french bistrot that shows its former belgian vocation in few belgian flavored recipes such as the estouffade de boeuf, a carbonnade like braized meat with absinte instead of black beer.
moules et frites impeccables. a great tartare, second only to the almost extinct le vin & way better than le jazz, just to mention two other french bistrot in town.
delicious lamb rack and so on. as a repeated customer I tried almost everything & the food never disappoints. great desserts. a plus: it accepts reservation & has linen table cloths. medium to high priced.

The devil is always in the details, and same goes for this bistro.
3 stars only as I feel that for the price charged, it could do much better.
The place is indeed very cosy and resembling a nice warm typical French Bistro.
But many little things is making me not to come back:
1) The single malt I ordered had that much ice in the glass that it was impossible to drink.
2) My wife and I had both the steak tartare as appetizer. Very good, but my accompanying french fries arrived later and were lukewarm and soft, whilst my wife received hot and crispy french fries.
3) My steak poivre was tough to cut and chew. The sauce didn't even come close to anything peppery. Believe, I know how a steak poivre should be.
So, disappointing.

Close-to-a-French-bistro restaurant. The service is good and well executed but some points in the food and overall environment could be improved. Despite the well suited "good-wine-cheap-prices" vibe, the restaurant don't present a competitive edge on the wine prices or even the wine variety, with a lot of bad labels and not-so-great prices. Food was good, but there was a lack of "sophistication" I guess? Not in a fancy way, but the plates could be done in a more "gentile" way. By the price paid, cutlery and porcelains also could be of better quality. Environment was very good thought, nice candles and correct lightning.

We went for lunch and tried the executive menu.. we started with “ scrambled eggs with spinach and toast”, the spinach were 2 leaves and the toast was harder as a piece of rock..but the eggs were tasty, the dish of meat and le coq au vin as well were well prepared .. a little overpriced..the 🎶 could be lower...

Excellent food. However, I can't give 5 stars due to the very slow service (considering it is quite a small restaurant) and the abudance of smokers directly outside the restaurant. Half of the restaurant is outdoors, and getting one of those tables is sure to impact your dining experience.

The restaurant is quiet, intimate and on the whole comfortable. The food is the same as the other locations. The duck was acceptable but I shan't have it again. Wife loved her sole with grapes. What really let the place down was the service. Maitre'd was welcoming but the staff were rather slow and unsmiling. I shan't visit this location again.

The best bouef tartar in Sao Paulo!! La Casserole is a very traditional restaurant serving many French cuisine classics with style, excellent service and outstanding wine menu. It has been since the deterioration of downtown SP a destination restaurant but the clientele hasn't been affected and one can frequently dine next to renown artists, tv stars, journalists and members of the more intellectual segments of the city's elite (new riches don't know this place, they tend to gather around more expensive but not as great restaurants in or around Itaim Bibi)

I had the steak tartar and my parents had the "menu du jour" which is a great deal. The meat was incredible and the variety of side dishes they offer are just incredible. I can easily say it was the best fries I've ever had, they wet crunchy and nicely seasoned, if you have the "menu du jour" they are bottomless which is a plus! Would highly recommend the place and will be going back there for sure!

We always wanted to go because it looks so nice but unfortunately we had no nice experience. It's a bad place for vegetarians (not a single main dish for vegetarians) and it's too pricy (cheapest Chopp 15 R$). Also there were many waiters, we didn't have the feeling of being welcomed and cared for.

Good restaurant, specially for wine lovers. The food is tasty, there are just enough options on the menu, and there are plenty of options of wine.

Cannaile's concept is the best: simple and well prepared food, at good prices. Excellent value for money.
A small but very good place. Quiches are delicious, specially the one of onion. Even when their menu is not that extensive, their food is awesome. It is very crowded so yo should arrive with patience because it took for us one hour to have a seat. Prices are fair. Higly recommended.

What a beautiful place is the Casserole restaurant <3. One of the antique restaurants in the city, right in the Arouche square. This is the old São Paulo I love. The cassoulet is not always served, but try and ask for it. Good selection of wine, of course. Prefer during the weekend, as during week days it is crowded with downtown executive types at lunch hour.
