Impeccable service and very lovely environment! Main dishes could be improved but the appetisers are perfect (we tried croquettes and fish salad). The only thing that disappointed us is the homemade soda 😂 not very recommended. But given the price, it’s still overall well worthy.
Very nice bar and ambience. Food/drinks and service could be slightly better. My Negroni was really very strong; dadonhos marie a bit heavy but tasty; ceviche was good. We would have liked to have little plates (as we were sharing food) and extra napkins on the table. Overall good experience but little things could be improved to make it even better, as the place deserves.
Cool place to check out on your trip to Santa Teresa. This place has amazing cocktails, including many well known drinks. It's also expensive for the area, costing about $10 USD per drink. Still better than the US, but more than other places in Rio. The food has potential. It's good, the only problem is that 4/4 items we ordered over 3 different visits were all cool or cold. The nachos could be so good but they are just not the same when the cheese has solidified and the chips are cold. Same with the burger, which looks like their cheddar is a slice of square American cheese. The pastels were pretty good though. And the hummus.
Definitely check out this place if you are tired of eating food that's fried and served over rice and French fries 😂 We had a lettuce salad with beets and an order of ceviche, both were light, refreshing, and very good. The atmosphere is fantastic, you are above the street on a hidden balcony, surrounded by plants. The sound system softly plays excellent Brazilian music while you relax. Highly recommend.

This is one of the newer promises when it comes to cocktail bars. It's the Speakeasy counterpart to the famous Astor bar, although the beverages here are much more sophisticated and daring. I visited this bar early on a weekend night and service was outstanding, I appreciate Julia's recommendations and will surely be back during my next trip to São Paulo.
Very grungy and grimey. Expensive cover for little entertainment. Too many people. In my opinion it's a very dangerous accident waiting to happen. God forbid they had a fire. Not enough bathrooms. Too many people are allowed in at one time. You can buy a beer relatively quickly. If they play some basic generic songs the dance floor goes crazy, but none of it was good dance/trance in my opinion. They also take payment for cover charge when you leave instead of entering? Also police were outside expecting problems, including this chicka with a rifle that probably wasn't trained to even use it.

Visited this place twice on our five night stay in Rio. If you’re looking for cocktails then you need to visit here, they are so tasty! My favourite one is the Jambu Treme (highly recommend!!!). The staff are lovely, welcoming, friendly, and helpful - thank you Marco! The food is delicious too, definitely worth the visit.
So seems that we eat better French food in São Paulo than in Paris. Shame on you Paris! shame on you! le Jazz serves perfectly executed french vernacular cuisine. Bravo. le cochon de lait est extraordinaire.

A literal hidden gem. Go down the stairs at Astor Bar and you will be transported to probably the best cocktail bar in all of São Paulo. They are doing great stuff here by using uniquely Brazilian ingredients as the starting point for their signature cocktails. This place could hold its own against cocktail giants like Please Don’t Tell or Death and Co. I was introduced to ingredients that I’ve never heard of before and will be replicating versions of these on my own at home.

Ambiente masculino 40+. Garçom atencioso. Me senti uma princesa por ser única mulher ali até que verifiquei a data de validade da cerveja Budweiser e estava vencida, o garçom falou q não precisava pagar. Parei beber e fui no caixa informar q a cerveja tava vencida, o senhor do caixa ficou chateado e perguntou “tava estragada?” Respondi “senhor, ela vencida” “-sim, mas você tomou, tava estragada? Deixa pra la, não precisava pagar e não volta mais aqui”. Perguntei “o senhor tá chateado pela cerveja estar vencida?” Respondeu “pode ir embora”.

Lovely bistro, kind staff. I choose not he entrecôte and my meat is always very well done and they did it perfectly. The waitress even asked me to cut and see if I was happy. The sauce was very nice.Dessert creme brûlée and the egg foam 👌🏽
Breakfast is tasteful and everyone - staff- at the is Polite.

The craft cocktails are excellent, tropical, delicious. The FOOD is ridiculously good… very thoughtful menu with a variety of options. The service is also A+. Excellent restaurant and great alternative to Aprazivel.

Reference club in latin night club during 20 years .. and still run lessons before the party begin and entertain their customers to dance . Nice envirinment . Kind staff and cozy decoration. Love it!

After this meal, I told my wife that I hope we get food this good while in Paris when we travel there in June. The ambiance is great, and our table had a wonderful view into the tiny kitchen were 5 cooks and a dishwasher were pumping out amazing French food. The bread and butter were phenomenal. The tuna tartare was very fresh. The duck with mandarin was cooked perfectly and the potatoes were so creamy. And my wife loved the goat cheese salad with a fresh, light dressing. The chocolate with macadamia nut pie was superb as well. This restaurant is truly a little gem in Pinheiros.

Drinks fantásticos e agora tbm com noites de Stand Up Comedy, o espaço é aconchegante ao mesmo tempo que rústico, um atendimento perfeito e bem humorado, nos dando tranquilidade de escolher e dinamismo em nós atender. Se você ainda não conhece corre, tem muitas novidades, inclusive música ao vivo.
Excelente café! É ar de bar e boteco muito agradável. Indico começar dia tomando café lá. Não leva 5 estrelas pq havia cliente fumando bem na entrada do local e ninguém solicitou q o msm fosse a outro ponto, msm a fumaça invadindo o ambiente.

All the staff is very great in the attendance, there is really a great place to dance Brazilian music.
Room is not clean and balcony door can't close and when I asked them to refund my money because I canceled immediately because it's not as it showed in the pictures, they said sorry machine didn't work but we will do that on Monday for sure after all they replied that it's non-refundable, bad way of dealing am not happy.

Cara, o dono fez um esquema muito bom de isolamento acústico, fiquei na sala do karaoke com alguns poucoa amigos, mas ao sair me deparei com uma aglomeração gigantesca, se estivesse vendo como estava em baixo mas nem ferrando que eu teria ido. A pesar disso haviam varios drinks, porções e lanche. Não experimentei os drinks, fiquei no chopp, mas as porções são boas, o lanche ficaria melhor com o pão quente, mas é muito bom também.
Fora da pandemia com certeza daria cinco estrelas para o restaurante.
Ah tem mais um detalhe, no andar de cima o karaoke é um notebook conectado em uma tv com um esqueminha de som legal, ótimo mas o youtube deveria estar logado em uma conta premium no mínimo né, que que é menos de 50 reias para um estabelecimento pô.

The place is too smal, specially the dance floor. No space to dance at all, to make it worse there are tables and chairs even at the dance floor😭. Totaly Unnecessarly once it gets full and most people are dancing, The tables on the side and at the second floor would be enough for the few ones who want to sit. At the friday program supose to be salsa Party, but it was playing most reaggaton, pop and few bachatas. If you are used to good leavel salsa clubs, you will be disappointed.
I’ve been to SubAstor before and had a great time, but my last visit was not the same experience. It was around 22h on a Saturday, pretty full when we got there but not too bad. One of the first two drinks we ordered (the açaí cocktail) just wasn’t good. We had to take turns drinking it like a shot. I’m pretty sure I’ve had that drink before and not had the same reaction, so I’m not sure what the problem was. The next order we placed was for two more drinks and a sparkling water with ice and lime. We waited patiently for probably about 30 minutes, understanding it was a full bar on a Saturday night and it might be a few minutes. But it became clear that our order had been dropped when the waiter was surprised we hadn’t gotten it yet, asked us what it was (two drinks and a water), and after going to “check” on it, a normal water (no ice or lime) appeared within minutes. Our drinks followed about 15 minutes later. After asking for our check we waited another 25 minutes for someone to come over with the credit card machine before leaving cash on the table and leaving. Overall, it was a pretty frustrating experience, and not what you’re hoping for when you’re paying higher prices for craft cocktails. Last note, they include 13% service in the bill (the standard everywhere is 10% with very few exceptions) for the overwhelmed, slow quality I described.
Dont! Don’t! I had the worst experience in this hotel, do not use it!! The rooms are very old the wifi doesn’t work. And they have one elevator for 16 levels.

It's near Republica so it's well located for the metro. Uber is quite excellent in SP. There are fewer good choices for food right around. There is a pretty good place called.casa do porco. Make sure to try the grilled pig with crackling skin.
Friendly staff, great cocktails, lovely ambience. I ordered the picadinho which was very traditional though I wish it came with beans not just caldo. Others ordered the steak, burger and chicken and all were very happy. Will definitely be back!
Can't stress enough how good are the cocktails at this place. Italian Mixologist Fabio la Pietra is among the best in town.
Muito boa.... café muito gostoso.... coxinha d e galinha é a melhor... feita de pedaços de frango (coxa, asa) é bem temperadinha... lanches na chapa (misto quente, pão com ovo e etc), almoço delicioso (prato feito) prato com arroz, macarrão, feijão, tudo bem quentinho e uma porção da carne q vc quiser (bife à milanesa é o meu preferido), tem bife acebolado que é muito bom também!! Toda quarta tem dobradinha, e sábado mocotó que é demais!!! Cervejas 600ml Heineken, original, Brahma, Serra malte.... vc senta no balcão , os atendentes são rápidos e o pedido de almoço não leva mais q 5 a 10 minutos....
Awesome place for dancing Latin music. The decoration is completely Cuban, you can feel like you are there. The club is a bit small, therefore there isn't much space for dancing if it's crowded and places to sit when you order something. On weekdays you don't need to pay to enter before 10:00pm. On weekends it costs R$40,00, which I think is a little steep. Drinks there are nice, but expensive
Excellent food. However, I can't give 5 stars due to the very slow service (considering it is quite a small restaurant) and the abudance of smokers directly outside the restaurant. Half of the restaurant is outdoors, and getting one of those tables is sure to impact your dining experience.
Hotel was fine, Good services, cleaned rooms. It's located in old downtown of São Paulo so it's a bit dangerous to walk Alone Around the neighborhood at night.

We had planned on just drinks before heading off elsewhere for food but due to a sudden downpour we were stuck. This turned out to be a happy accident as the food is gorgeous and well priced. We shared the Blue Grotto Crunch and Satay Chicken. The pumpkin confit on the crunch is incredible and the chicken was tender and full of taste.
We then had separate deserts, both of which are divine.
The atmosphere here is incredibly relaxed in a lush green setting. The staff are very friendly and the service is brilliant. If you visit Santa Teresa, stopping off at this wonderful establishment is a must.

It's a great place for dancing, with varied parties throughtout the week. It gets packed and it's really hot and humid, though, so dress lightly. Definitely a pickup place, after a certain time half the people will be making out on the dance floor.
Decent place, food was good but servers weren't very friendly...almost rude actually, music was barely audible (at least so far... @10pm)... I will likely try any other latin bar before coming back here...
There was a completely naked guy on the dance floor. The party it self had nothing to do with getting naked, it was just a naked guy... But the prices are ok and there was lots of people. Apparently you can smoke weed on the smokers areas without any problems.
Great Latin bar, fun for dancing, good food, and they really do have fantastic mojitos!!

A very amazing and cheap locale in its previous installments, increasingly gentrified to now be mainstream priced in its current location, still more fun than the duchey coxinha bars/clubs in Aspicuelta&nearby.

Went to this bar as a gringo, left as a local. Was amazing.
Simple hotel, but the buffet breakfast is impressive. The staff is generous and helpful. Not a lot in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, but close to metro stations and some nice parks.
THIS PLACE IS GOOD FOR THE MUSIC BUT IF YOU ARE NOT LOCAL BECAREFUL THEY WILL ROB YOU... SCUMBAGS PROMISED YOU SOMETHING THAN THEY WILL DELIVER SOMETHING ELSE...THIS IS A PLACE TO LOCALS NOT FOR TOURIST... GOOD LUCK...THEY ROB ME... AND THAT'S WHY I AM SO PISSED OFF...
