I walked in the store and requested to get new nose pads for my glasses. Mariela offered help quickly with no charges.
Highly reccomend! Went there to have my sunglasses fixed. Luna and Marila helped me. Both were very friendly and had them fixed in no time.

I went in for my second year exam and was told my vision changed a lot and that I’d need progressive lenses. I was nervous of this as it takes time to get used to, but was told they’d be there every step and if at anytime within a month it doesn’t work for me. They’d help with a recheck from the doctor… Now when I was picking frames I could not see very well to judge the look. I got together 12 pairs and asked Chantell please help. She was amazing and listened to what I was looking for. And helped narrow it down to 3 pairs which I loved so I bought 2. TOTALLY RECOMMEND Sunridge mall Pearl Vision. I can’t wait for my glasses. Awesome selection of brand name frames. And they direct bill insurance. Awesome service. Long time client Always satisfied.
I visited Pearle Vision recently. Big thumbs up to the Staff especially Ms. Luna. She is extremely polite and courteous. I had a broken specs. She fixed it so swiftly. Very efficient service. Highly recommend this location!!!

Very helpful, educated and patient staff. I wasn't sure what style glasses fit me the best and Chantel gave me a bunch of amazing suggestions and I was able to try frames on to envision them and get what I love! Huge selection and some brands have fun personalization
I went to Pearle Visions Sunridge Mall to pick up my eyeglasses and I have to say it was indeed a very very good experience because of the assistance I got from one of its employees named Chantell. Chantell was very accommodating as she was very quick in helping me the first time I set my foot at Pearle Visions. Not only that, she was also very helpful as she was able to make adjustment with the old eyeglass I bought with Pearle as well as the one with missing screw. Lastly, she saw to it that my newly-purchased eyeglass will be perfect to my eyes when I wear them. Overall, I would highly recommend Pearle Visions to all customers who want to have a quality eyeglass coupled with friendly, helpful and knowledgeable associates.

My contact lens got lost in my eye lol. I was not able to flush it out and I called the shop just before closing to see if there was a Dr who could help me. Dr. Choi stayed and waited for me to arrive. She was extremely thorough in her exam and made sure everything was okay. My eye was super irritated and she recommended the appropriate care. Her staff who were there were all super friendly and accommodating as well.

It was a great buying experience. Aida and the team over there provided me guidance and useful advise for buying my prescription glasses. I drive across the city to see Dr. Jaffray. I can ask her questions and she takes the time to explain the reason why she recommends different treatments. She is also very patient with children. The staff at the front desk are always friendly too!
Terrible service, terrible result. Too stubborn to listen to a paying client. Absolute waste of time and money. You tell them that you cant see out of the glasses and they tell you to leave anyway. If you choose this place be prepared to leave with glasses you cant see from

Went to Specsavers for the first time and got my first pair of glasses. Wasn’t really sure what to expect but all the staff were great. To top it I got the pleasure of meeting Isa. She was extremely friendly, professional and funny. She helped me find a pair of glasses that looked best for me. 10/10 experience with her and the company ! Thanks Isa!!!!!

My eye exam and everything was great overall. Staff was helpful and knowledgable. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I received a text stating my glasses were ready for pickup. I went to the store at 7:25pm, after checking the stores hours online, and even though the website stated they were open until 9pm, the location at carlingwood mall was very much closed. You should change the hours online to accurately reflect the stores actual hours.
Great service, friendly atmosphere and the ladies know how to make you feel important. Just one small thing though, I don’t need emails regularly. Send one next year and then again on each year after. Not before that!

I was looking for a new optometrist and noticed this new place at Carlingwood. I made an appointment and was really impressed by the optometrist. He was professional and caring and answered all my questions. This was really an excellent experience. The front end staff was also very nice and friendly. I did not feel pressured to buy anything and they totally understood that I was there for an eye exam only.
Dr. Jaffrey and her team are very helpful and knowledgeable. I went in after cross-linking surgery, with, I feel, was poor vision. With Dr. Jaffrey’s help, I now see 20/20 and couldn’t be more thrilled. I can definitely say, “You’re in good hands here.”
I had a great experience with Louie at Varsity Optical. I left ordering my sunglasses until the week before I was leaving on vacation, and Louie expedited my order to make sure I had them for my trip. When there was an issue with the lenses during installation, he instead fitted them with a different set of lenses that he swapped out for the originals when I returned from vacation. This is my second pair of glasses with Varsity Optical and the customer service has always been excellent.

Dr Farrah and all of the staff, especially Karen, are always so helpful. The new location is really conveniently located for anyone living in central or south Calgary, and the clinic is beautiful, bright, and spacious. Eye exams are thoughtful and thorough and Dr Farrah really cares about every patient. The frame selection is fantastic with lots of new, lightweight, and trendy options, especially for smaller faces. I always find frames I love and have a great experience here. Parking is easy in the pay lot, and there’s lots of free 2-hour parking nearby, too.
I am really delighted to write this review. The staff here at Northhill centre is very polite and accommodating. I came here to get an estimation for the repair for my mom's eye glass who was visiting us and didn't have an insurance. "Aida" the store manager was very kind to fix her eye glasses for no charge. I always prefer coming here.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Hesla’s for many years now. He is a wonderful, patient, caring and attentive doctor that takes time to thoroughly listen to my concerns and problem solve with me. I’m feel I am quite a demanding patient (I ask a lot of questions 😅) but he takes all my concerns seriously and takes time to explain the best options for treatment, answering all my questions patiently- I never feel rushed. I appreciate how thorough he is with his care. He is personable and conversational, and you can tell he really cares about his patient’s wellbeing.
my partner had previously gotten glasses from here and had an amazing experience so i thought i would try as well. the optician fixed my old broken glasses that were not from the store as well as helped me pick out a new pair. the customer service here is above and beyond and you get your new glasses in about 20 minutes if they have your lenses in stock. so amazing. whenever i need glasses i will absolutely be going here.

My son and I needed to get some new glasses so we went to Specsavers Carlingwood. Best decision ever! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The hardest part was choosing a pair, because they have a great selection!. Service was very fast. Amazing prices for glasses. We will definitely be coming here again. If you’re looking for a place to buy nice affordable glasses, this is the place to go!

Saw Dr. Cynthia Du this week concerning my sight and vision. Website was so easy to book and front desk was amazing. Dr Cynthia was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond. What surprise me the most was how she checked up on me after my appointment and help me get an appointment with a specialist. Payment was easy as it was all direct billing. Did not have to wait long in the waiting room. Highly recommended

I get that they were busy. However I was in there for 30 minutes and three times the employees walked to the front and saw me.Yet couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge my existence. For a new company your employees should really make an effort to acknowledge customers. I will be telling all my friends that require glasses to go elsewhere.

Hello I have needed to get my glasses fixed from breaking from abuse at work three times in the last 4 years and they were able to repair my frames so I didn’t need to get new glasses. This time it was close almost couldn’t remove the broken screws and would have just got the same frame with my old lenses for around 150 so still decent price but in the end, was able to remove them and repair glasses successfully. So want to thank Chantel Wilson, David Ly and Dare Roy for their help.

Dr.Du is so kind and amazing. I always feel that she has her patients best interest at heart. Bridget is always great to talk to and is really helpful.
The service for both glasses and optometrist was first rate. The glasses I ordered were delivered on time and the quality was great! All the ladies were very helpful.
Got glasses here twice. First time, it was great. Second time, not at all, the frames are splitting at the top. I can see the lenses through the crack. These are expensive, brand name frames and they were put together with my prescription lenses extremely poorly. I paid quite a bit for these glasses. It was a 2 for 1 deal but I can't believe how bad these frames are coming apart. I just got these glasses a few months ago. Terrible.
Great optometrist clinic, wonderful and warm experience from start to finish. I really appreciate Dr. Hesla taking time to go over my diagnosis clearly and his recommended treatment options. My family and I have been going to Dr Hesla for our eye care for over 10 years and I highly recommended him and his clinic.
Very accommodating and friendly especially Jowen, Michelle and the young male who helped me look for a specific sun glasses. This is why I dont mind driving for 2hrs just to get my eye examed and glasses here.
Needed new contacts and was able to get an appointment the following day. Super friendly & helpful staff. Walked out with contacts until my order came in (the same week!!) and they replaced the nose pads on my glasses and adjusted the arms for free. Would definitely recommend.
That is a great clinic, my kids just can't wait for their next visit. Dr. Hesla is wonderful with kids and at what he's doing. When my son found out we were on the way to the clinic last week, he was so glad and said "Great, I like Dr. Hesla!" I am also always amazed with their professionalism and technology. We went there last week and I'm absolutely delighted with my experience at this optometry clinic! I have never experienced such concern for my vision. The professionals at Eyedeology did far more than simply test my eyes. The combination of technology and helpful conversation have given me confidence that Dr. Yang and her team have made my vision into their priority. One negative was getting an expensive ticket in the parking lot in front of their building. Be warned!!!

Dr. Theresa Taylor is a wonderful Optometrist. I cannot believe how thorough the exam is each time I see her. She makes sure to go through any and all questions I have, and I never feel rushed. She does a great job and it’s apparent that she truly cares for her patients. If she sees anything even remotely suspicious she makes sure to get the appropriate testing done to give you and her peace of mind. She also makes sure to go through your chart from prior visits to follow up and check in on any previous concerns. She’s a wonderful Dr, and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I’ve worn glasses for over 35 years so having my eyes examined has been a constant during my adult life. From the thorough eye exam, to the explanation of the results, to taking the time to answer all my questions and ensuring that I was comfortable with the go forward plan and that the prescription was the right one for me. I found it expensive—both exam and glasses. I remember when eye exams were 100 bucks, enough for your benefits to cover it.
I opted out on the special offers Pearle had at the time because all I wanted were new lenses. Just having the lenses replaced wouldn't have cost a ton...hadn't I wanted anti-glare. And that was an extra 100 bucks(!). Well, I went ahead with it, expecting good quality, so they sent my glasses away to have the lenses replaced. I waited two weeks.
I got them back and they seemed fine at first until lately I noticed a scratch after only a few wipes. I use high-quality microfibre cloths and am very careful with my glasses, so I couldn't explain where the scratch came from. I had my previous lenses for three years and I never had any scratches. It makes me think that the scratch-resistant coating must be of bad quality. I'm disappointed with that and I'm not sure what to do.

I had specifically mentioned I needed an eye exam for my dental loupes that I will be getting (that cost over $5000). They said sure and that I will need to pay $160 for an eye exam. I received my dental loupes in and wanted to ensure good fitting for the health of my eyes long term. Apparently they didn’t take my eye measurements at my initial visit because I didn’t purchase a pair of glasses from them..And are requesting I pay another $100 just for another eye measurement.
I’m not sure why I paid $160 for the eye exam without full service for the purpose I had mentioned when I already purchased a $5000 pair of glasses/loupes. It doesn't make sense to me that they would have thought I would purchase another pair of glasses with them that I absolutely didn’t need at this point. I had an emergency situation with my eye. I was in pain and couldn’t see due to debris that got stuck under my eye lid. They were so accommodating and told me to come in right away. The staff were lovely and Dr. Turner worked his magic and fixed the situation. I would highly recommend this great neighbourhood optometrist and spectacles shop. Also great selection of eyewear.
It’s seldom you find an optometrist (or any medical professional) as empathetic as Dr. Brady Turner. He is super willing to address minor concerns and will spend the time explaining questions you may have about your vision, even if you feel like they are silly. Also full kudos to the staff, both front and back of house are super professional, kind, and knowledgeable. My experiences with Dr. Jaffray have always been positive. If it is a simple question about eye drops, or a full eye exam, she is always professional and kind. Dr. Jaffray also has the latest tech which I so appreciate regarding my eye health. Her staff are always friendly and accommodating. Worst shop ever. Recommended a pair of cheap plastic frame and single vision lenses and costed me 350 for my 8 year old. Later talked to an optician working at another shop. He told me it cost 1/3 at Costco.

I had a great experience at Focused Optometry. Dr. Jaffray was really through in making sure my prescription was just right and the staff were amazing in helping me pick glasses, getting them adjusted, and taking extra care of my eyes. They are a great team!
I would highly recommend the team at Focused Optometry. After 5+ years of suffering from dry eye, pterygium and pinguecula and seeing many different specialists and optometrist I was about ready to give up on ever seeing an improvement. Dr. Jaffray was the first to really listen and understand, and I appreciate that she was willing to work with me to try a few solutions. Dr. Jaffray connected referred me to great surgeon and helped me make a decision and treatment plan that was right for me and I'm on my way to a much better quality of life. All the staff are lovely, personable, responsive and never try to rush me out the door.
Dr. Du was amazing with all 3 of my children. She was friendly and gentle and knew how to talk to them. They were nervous going in but felt comfortable and had a great experience. The front desk staff was also very friendly. You won’t regret going to them.
I've been a patient of Dr. Monea's for quite some time. She is so personable and easy-going, but also professional. Her staff are friendly and helpful as well. Would not hesitate to recommend Kensington Eye Health to anyone looking for a great optometrist.

My family and I have been going to the Huntington Hills Calgary Optometry Centre for many years and we have always experienced excellent and professional service. They are a wonderful group to deal with and we have been very happy with the Optometrists there. Recently my husband had a problem with his eye and they took him in right away. Thank you.
Very happy with my experience here over the years. The team has always been efficient and professional and I leave feeling well cared for. Recently I purchased my first pair of sunglasses from them and Mary was such a pleasure to work with. She helped me pick the perfect pair and had them ordered very quickly as she knew I was hoping to have them in hand for an upcoming vacation. I was very pleased with the whole process!
Dr. Monea and her staff are excellent. Their customer service is always top quality. Ollie has impeccable taste in picking glasses frames and perfectly fits lenses. These folks take great care of their clients.
The front desk staff were such a pleasant surprise at Calgary Optometry. Not only were they the standard of care and attention and understanding that I thought might be a thing of the past, but they were also humorous and jovial. What?! Such a nice balance of human and pro that seems rare. I was happy to have a Dr. explain things to me in a way that didn't seemed rushed and/or annoyed as well (also seems to be the experience elsewhere of late). What a breath of expertise and fresh air :)
I had a great experience. The office is warm and visually appealing, with eclectic style and feminine charm. Combined with leading technology the whole exam time was enjoyable. Her staff are amazing, and the doctor picked out a perfect frame for me after meeting me once. I love the the open advocacy #notinmycity to raise awareness of human trafficking
Always a good experience at Kensington Eye Health Centre. Dr. Monea genuinely cares for my eye health, probably more than I do. Also, I get exceptional service from the frames and fitting specialist, Olli. I can trust her advice and her accurate suggestions. She is experienced and well considered. Despite me being a difficult case, all staff are patient with me. They are friendly, inviting, engaging, dedicated and caring. This is where I will continue to go to get my glasses.
This is a really awesome experience. I would like to buy a pair of sunglasses here. Once I got inside, people working there were so nice and showed me many choices and helped me with the best one. With the best smiling face in the world, the young girl helped me for examine the eyes. The doctor was even nicer to explain my eyes and related things. He was very patient and gentle, professional and knowledgeable. I have learned a lot by short meeting with him. Such a nice gentleman! He also told me that my eyes were really healthy which relaxed me. Because I worried too much about my eyes, I replied on my one good eye too much. The boss was a very nice lady, she patiently and nicely helped me about everything. I felt like at home when I stayed there. When I talked about my health card without a plastic bag, she immediately gave me one for free. Such a kind and nice lady. I love being their customers. After just two days, my sunglasses are ready. Actually, this is one of my best shopping experiences in the past. Very cheerful!
Dr Jaffray is an excellent optometrist. She took the time to educate me about all of my options for eye lenses prior to my cataract surgery. My Opthalmologist’s office had not given me all those details. Dr Jaffray has also diagnosed other eye issues for me and prescribed appropriate glass lenses. Her staff are friendly and efficient. I highly recommend her!
A very infuriating experienced! how terrible the service is! me and my wife were there on time for our eye examination, and suddenly a man and his family were late fore more than 30 minutes cuts our que. I told one of the staff that you’re cutting our line for a late patient, but, she went straight to the optometrist to arrange what the guy needs. To make it worst, the optometrist accommodated the guy and his family in front of us. If they could only ask in a good manner. Thank you for assisting your new clients with such manner.
Devon repaired the glasses I purchased at Focused Optometry two years ago, at no charge. He went out of his way so I could avoid buying a new pair. This store deserves a 6 out of 5.

Dr. Jaffray and her team are kind, professional and very knowledgeable. I was very impressed at how well she related to my kids and how thorough and fun her eye exams were and how they were tailored to their different developmental levels. When it came time for us to pick glasses, again the experience was fun and they were so patient. They were happy to work with my budget and helped my kids find glasses they love that work for them now and as they grow. I would highly recommend their services to anyone and have already recommended them to friends.
We have had great service and great prices from the Optical Shop. For what I paid for new lens in my old frame, I was able to get a new pair of glasses PLUS top line lens. They have great prices (better than Hakim and better selection as well). Their service has been outstanding as well. We had a problem with the lens in our new glasses. They sent them back and got it fixed - no problem. I am happy to recommend them - they seem more than fair and great people to deal with as well!
