I just had Bambi Picnic assist with my proposal and they knocked it out of the water. No only was she professional, but put together a very beautiful Picnic. If you want an beautiful, elegant, and easy going experience, I recommend going with Bambi. Thank you again

Eliska is a true professional. Coming from Seattle, I booked a surprise engagement setting with Bambi Picnic, and within minutes Eliska reached out to coordinate the whole event. She was on time, understood the assignment, found us a last minute photographer, and she even set up the picnic in a perfect location. I cannot recommend her enough.

They were very accommodating to my fairly last minute interest/booking request, were quick to respond with answers to my questions, and were very friendly throughout.

The setup was beautiful, supplied with all the flatware, silverware, and glasses needed. We did the charcuterie add-on which was delicious and contained many different meats, cheeses, fresh and dried fruits and nuts.

Would definitely recommend for a cute and unique picnic experience!

I recently hired this company to organize a picnic for my marriage proposal. The picnic setup and food were excellent, and overall, they did a good job. However, there were some minor communication issues, and they missed one key element for the picnic table that was important for the proposal.

Despite this, I highly recommend them for birthdays and other milestone celebrations. Their unique decorations and reasonable prices make them a great choice for such events. If you are considering them for a secret proposal, make sure to discuss all details thoroughly to ensure your expectations are met. With a bit more attention to detail, they could be perfect for any special occasion.

Eliska and her team at Bambi Picnic made my 25th birthday picnic perfect! The set up was absolutely beautiful and Eliska is great to work with. Had a picnic for 11 people and it was incredibly memorable. Highly recommend Bambi Picnic.

Could not have found a better place to get married! Shae and Sarah the wonderful ladies who assist with events here are one of the main reasons we had to book our wedding here. They are friendly, kind, understanding and all around great people to have on your side. During such a stressful and financially taxing event they were so easy to work with; it was truly a "treat you like family" experience. They were able to work within our budget and still make it a memorable/exciting event. They were able to accommodate our guests who had some food restrictions with no issue and took it seriously. Very flexible with our set up and take down time frame. One of the owners Sunny is amazing as well; he hired a team of truly amazing people. He was available for our special day and took care of us all night.

The food was to die for; everyone who attended our wedding raves about it! The drink menu is quite impressive compared to some venues and the bartenders will happily make you any drink you wish. They have a bridal suite semi attached to the venue; i did not make use of this room but for any brides who need that space it is quite lovely to get ready in and be close by for your special moment!

If you're looking for a venue that at first glance may seem smaller or not your typical wedding venue; i highly recommend The Baron. They far exceeded my expectations and were an absolute pleasure to work with.

I cannot say enough good things about this space and the team at The Baron. From the moment I reached out and even after our event Shae, Sarah and her team have been so highly organized, friendly, and supportive.
I hosted our company awards gala at this space in February and was so happy with how everything turned out! The staff had everything organized ahead of time and were so easy to work with. We encountered some sound issues during our presentation which the staff helped out tremendously with. The food and drinks were lovely and our attendees loved how much parking was available!

Great location for North Indian and Pakistani cuisine value for money takeout. There is a wide variety of choices with appetizers, curries, vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. This is a takeout-only location no seatings for dining. My favorite is Biryani, Kebabs and Butter chicken.

The Baron was amazing to work with for our October wedding! The space checked off all the boxes for the mood of our wedding. The food was so delicious and had a great variety to choose from. The staff was always responsive and provided top-tier service. Highly recommend if you are looking for an intimate gathering for a great price!

Generous portion + suitable for our cravings! Lollipop Chicken & Friedrice using Basmati rice is sooo delicious! And got a goooood salsa on the side too😊

Went here to grab some food. Ordered the angara chicken naan wrap. What i got was a lettuce wrap with 1 piece of chicken spread across the naan. (See picture), and it is a big naan....the chicken was quite dwarfed....

When i called them out about the one piece the girl grabbed and semi-hid and ran to the kitchen to make the wrap, they added more, then looked like they took out everything but the original piece when building the wrap.

I could hear them arguing in punjabi about how much chicken goes in the wrap in the kitchen. It was quite insulting, actually, i paid for the food....not like it was free.

This is the Britannia location, and the kids they have working at the front desk are some of the rudest people I've come across in a while.

I debated writing this post, but the chicken wrap is a regular item i purchase, and the extreme lack of chicken is blatantly obvious and disgusting.

I understand shrinkflation, but at this point, they're just ripping us off, i pay for chicken....they give me naan and lettuce. It was pathetic and extremely dishonest of them.

On top of that, we asked for our recipt multiple times.....did not get a receipt.

This place used to be great but is such a hit and miss now... mostly miss.

If you haven't been here before, do yourself a favor and dont waste your money unless you can't make it absolutely anywhere else.

Eliska and her team have done such an amazing job for our wedding picnic. It's been truly a pleasure to communicate with Eliska as she's been so helpful, flexible, accommodating and professional. We had to re-schedule our picnic due to BC wildfire smoke and got very upset, however Eliska made the whole re-scheduling process so easy and flexible and accommodated everything including the location we've chosen, time and date. The picnic arrangement was so gorgeous and got so many compliments from our guests. It was eye-catching. We are so so happy we've chosen Bambi Picnic and highly recommend for any occasion suitable whether it's a small wedding, baby shower or just family/friends picnic. We'll definitely choose Bambi Picnic again for any other event.

All dishes is very good but my favorite biryani and nihari they have best service and fast service in town

We usually order biryani and had a good experience. But today ordered Sindhi biryani & lahori fish and wr very disappointed. Thanks for giving alot of rice but they wr mushy and sticked together. There ws only one chicken pc in 1 box and two half sized legs in the 2nd..havn't opened 3rd box yet. We didnt like the taste of it, sorry but it ws only a lot of red chillies.
Disappointed to spend 50 bucks on that quality of food.

We have been going to silver spoon for a while. Their food is good but recently they introduced Falooda for only $3.99. It’s amazing! We love the sweetness level, taste and the price. The other night we got Faloodas and the the owner gave us a few free samosas as it was the end of the day. It was nice!

October 21, 2023 (2 months since my 2nd email to Silver Spoon): Drum roll, please ... Actually, it is quite sad that I did not receive a response from them via email. What great customer service skills! Gotta love their lack of professionalism. A round of applause for them. 👏👏👏

Fun fact: I even had a receipt. Yupparoos, I attached it twice to both of the emails that I sent to them.

Silver Spoon, do not bother responding now because it doesn't matter anymore.

My Initial Review:
I wrote an email to Silver Spoon (on the same day I made a purchase) regarding all of the bones (without any meat on them) in the lamb karahi. Do you think they were kind enough to respond? No! They didn't have the decency to respond nor apologize. If you want poor service and a lot of bones in your meal, then this is the place to go to.

I am not the type of person to complain nor do I enjoy putting down a business but I am beyond disappointed in their service and lack of response. I pretty much paid full price for some sauce and a lot of bones with only 1 or 2 pieces of lamb meat (see the enclosed pictures).

My apologies for the negative review but I think it is necessary that people know what they may receive from your restaurant.

Bambi Picnic is fantastic to work with!! Eliska was very responsive and was extremely accommodating and paid attention to every detail.

Absolutely beautiful set up from the perfect boho table scape to the seating and the food arrangements.

The Baron is an INCREDIBLE wedding venue that we used in August for our special day. I loved that the staff provided so many options for our day and allowed us to do a tasting of food before making a final decision on the menu. They were accommodating of all our extra needs and so attentive during the day. Everyone invited had compliments about how fabulous the venue looked and the food. The staff also helped my family take down decorations after the reception, which we were so grateful for. I would highly recommend this venue for ANY event!

We used The Baron as our wedding venue in April of this year, and cannot recommend them enough! The customer service during the wedding planning process, as well as on wedding day, was excellent. The whole team was prompt in responding to emails and phone calls, answering questions, and making accommodations for us as needed. We had to postpone our wedding twice over the course of 2 years due to Covid, and the venue staff did their best to work with us on moving things around. As a pregnant bride, the venue staff made accommodations for me as needed which were much appreciated. Everything was set up to our standards and photographed beautifully.

Professional and friendly service! Organized my pre-wedding dinner here, and everything went so well. Their foods tasted amazing, the venue looked cozy & beautiful, and the staff, especially Angie, were cheerful, helpful and flexible. I received good feedback from my guests! I would highly recommend this place to those who are looking for a wedding venue.

Bambi Picnic is what you are looking for! They are absolutely amazing!
We were looking for a baby shower picnic. All other places would only give you one hour time. Bambi picnic is for 3 hours. Everything was organized so well we didn’t want to leave! Eliska and her team will listen to you every step of the way, provide food, flowers and anything you need. They also will work around the weather and all the obstacles to creat an unforgettable event. All our guests were in awe! We will use them again for all our events! Thank you ,Eliska!

Best Wedding Venue Ever! We couldn't be happier with our decision to go with The Baron for our wedding reception. The staff were incredibly accommodating and kind. The food was fantastic and we got comments from quite a few of our guests on how much they enjoyed it. If your looking for Calgary venues and wondering about this one, let me save you the trouble, just book in here. You won't regret it.
