Excellent food and service.
This is by far the worst experience I’ve had at Cora’s. My kids and I were very disappointed in the service, food & Hospitality! The server we had was not friendly and often gave us dirty looks. She forgot parts of our order and charged us extra for things we didn’t order. When we finally received our food all of the fruit served to us was sour and the presentation was below the typical standard at Cora’s and our waiter even forgot some of our order. I would understand her forgetting something if the restaurant was busy but there were only four tables occupied and she was only waiting two of them including mine! The food was overcooked and my kids and I ended up leaving a lot of food behind as it was not enjoyable. When I asked for the bill and took some time to go over it I noticed the server had over charged me I asked her to remove it and she gave me an attitude. After this I asked her for my change and she lied and said they didn’t have any. When I insisted on getting my change she finally got it for me and I left. If you do decide to eat at this restaurant I would definitely consider going to a different location.

Where do i begin? Beautiful atmosphere, went there for my anniversary after a horrible experience at another restaurant the prior night and had zero regret.

The food is amazing, if you’re unsure whether you will enjoy it or not, have no doubt.

Everything was so fresh: this is the kind of food I would drive the distance for and, in fact, my boyfriend and I have already planned our next trip up to Collingwood just to visit. We were so amazed by the food we ordered, the drinks, and the dessert we had asked to speak to the owner of the restaurant to give our compliments as everything ordered was beyond expectation. You can tell the chef truly has a passion, all the food was made with that Italian love.

The service was amazing, our server Adriano was so friendly, took the time to check in on us, converse with us, and as a matter a fact every worker we had spoken to had given us amazing service, always checking in on us, stopped to take the time to converse with us about our cultures, and even shared their beautiful stories of their travels. Truly felt like we were family friends. 100/10 service for the books.

Anyone who gives this restaurant a bad rating I wouldn’t pay much attention to as they must not like flavourful food or authentic culture.

if I could give more stars I would, I cannot wait to visit again.

YOU MUST COME HERE !

Place is cozy. Food was terrible, we ordered 2- eggs Benedict, 1 tea and 1 coffee. And 1 order of banana French toast. The food was cold, tasted like it had been sitting there all morning. Mind you we came in at 8:10 am. The coffee was much more awful, don’t think I ever left coffee that full bc it was soo gross. Service could have been better, they are definitely understaffed and overpriced. Our bill came up to $70 for 2 ppl. Never expected to pay that much for an “eggsmart” I would have rather gone to aroma or cafe lawnder. The thing is I don’t mind paying that much when you’re exceeding my expectations but this was far from that. The only good thing I ate was the French toast. I left hungry and definitely won’t be returning. There are better options around.
This restaurant was suggested to us by the hotel staff and it was an incredible experience. We ate their three mornings in a row in our kids raved about it. The waffles with fruits, and the crêpes were to die for.
Amazing experience at Brunello. The food is delicious, portions are perfect and the service was fantastic. Thank you to Adriano and Angel you guys made our experience one to remember. Thank you for accommodating us, I know it was last minute but you guys exceeded our expectations. Special thanks to the chef Adrian. We shall see you again.
Best restaurant I have ever visited. Came here for my anniversary with my girlfriend and eating here felt like I was truly immersed in Italy. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and it felt like we were personally invited by the chef and servers. Thank you to Adriano and Chef Adrian for an unforgettable experience. Food was hot, incredibly tasty, and made my mouth water. Service was incredibly friendly and it felt so personal. Even talked to the owners and our server for a while after we finished. This restaurant was the highlight of my trip, and if you were to ever come to Collingwood and want the best and most authentic Italian experience, come to Brunello’s! Will be returning again, and this restaurant holds a special place in my heart.

Great breakfast stop, the potatoes are some of the best. Would recommend the 1990 Harvest and the Louis undecided.
Everything was the best, nothing to say, so many options to choose from and the food was delicious. Must try ❤️

A casual vibe, very welcoming. I went with some coworkers for lunch. The portions are very filling and quality food.
If you’re looking for lunch or breakfast that is a great price, quality and fast, friendly service, this is the place.

I have visited Cafe Landwer multiple times and it has always been amazing.
The food quantity and quality never fails here!
There's also a lot of options for drinks ranging from tea, coffee, healthy shakes and a lot more!
Nik's service was great! He ensured we had everything we needed and was pleasant to talk to!
Would highly recommend this place!
Great tasting food. Lots of variety and large quantity for the price. The atmosphere is nice as well as it is located in the Covent Garden Market. You can sit upstairs and enjoy the view.

Food is good and they are busy during brunch on Saturday. Got the smokey brisket omelette and a Cobb salad. I liked the omelette more.

One thing that I should mention is the parking. There is an underground parking and it's $6 flat for the weekend. But what needs to be mentioned is that you can get it for free if you dine here. However, you only know that once you are inside the restaurant. There is a parking ticket machine in the restaurant with instructions on how you pay for parking for free. The problem is, people normally park their car and then pay for parking before leaving; not at the store. And there is no notice that mentioned you can get it free if you are visiting the store(s). So a lot of people probably ended up paying without needing to. They need to find a way to improve on how to let their customers know about parking.

The decor is very fun and cute. The light situation, though, is frustrating. When the fans are on, the lights flicker, making it very distracting and difficult to read the menu.

The London fog looked so good and aesthetic! It tasted good too.

The berries from the French toast were very strong, almost an overwhelming taste. Regardless, I really like the fluffiness of the bread itself. It wasn’t a big standout. I wish there was more fresh fruit.

What a fabulous little gem. Started with calamari which was crispy outside, succulent and juicy inside. Then onto my main... a duck ragout pasta that made my eyes roll and my toes curl. Very good value. Our wait person was attentive and friendly. And our dessert, a caramel toffee pudding was ridiculously delicious. Couldn't recommend it more highly. Oh...and I found free parking right outside the door. May for me.
We ordered 1 portion of green curry and 1 portion of pad thai.

The pad thai was complete bland. It was cold, hard and the portion? it was very small for $10 . One of the worst pad thai I tried.

Same with the green curry, $10 for very small portion, taste like the one you get from instant green curry in asian supermarket. All we got just 3 pieces of chicken and the rest were onions and peas.

Not coming back for sure.
Just ordered chicken green curry... I hardly find chicken from it. Mostly onion! 90% Onion, 5% chicken 5% is other veggies and the sauce. It looks like we got onion green curry not chicken.
I love going to Cora for Brunch with my kids and loved their food, but this time, the food looks like just heated and served. The fruits don't look fresh, and the place was empty, unlike other Cora.
Early breakfast. The restaurant is fully accessible, clean and the Staff are pleasant & polite. Street parking only.

The food, well, nothing seriously wrong with it but it could be improved.
Deep fried potatoes that are stuck together, sausage that can use an injection of flavour and super thin, nearly see through bacon.
Asked for a tea with lemon and was told sorry, no lemon.

Cora's of old this is not. But good portions won't leave you hungry.

Terrible quality, terrible non existent service.

That breakfast photo was almost $20 and took 45 minutes to arrive. Sat for 25 more minutes after to get a bill, had to walk to a manger to ask for one. Was not busy. Will never go back to Coras. What a ripoff.

Service was really good. Quick and constant coffee top ups. Im always surprised by their menu options and the food is pretty decent too for a chain.

Only complaint was that we paid additional for Beyond sausages but it was just a patty cut up. Not the end of the world but just wasn't what we were expecting for the additional cost.

I can't figure out why this place has such a high Google Maps rating because, honestly, it's a major letdown. Super disappointed, and I won't be making a return visit.
Tried their French toast egg Benedict, and let me be real, the only redeeming factor was the eggs. Everything else on that plate missed the mark. The French toast lacked any authentic butter and milk flavor, plus it was too dry and lacked that smooth, silky inside texture. The potatoes? Not even close to crispy, plus they were overly salty.

Then there's the fried chicken waffle, which felt like both the chicken and waffles got a quick zap in the microwave. Both were dry, not hot enough, the chicken was overly salty.
Love Cora’s variety of breakfasts… from the pancakes, to the the crepes, and that cinnamon bun dipped in French toast batter..yum!! The service was a bit slow, waitress had to be reminded to bring us stuff, but overall, not too bad. Recommended for good food!

Had my holiday party with my staff here this year and it was such an excellent experience.

I have been to other landwer locations, but this one is close to work and nice and convenient

Food is always awesome here. Ordered a bunch of apps, which I almost filled up on. The pita with the dips are just so soft. And the tahini was creamy and smooth

I had the merguez shakshuka and very yum. I love their shakshuka as I think landwer was the spot for my very first one ever, so I have a soft spot on their shakshukas, which I think are just amazing

Had a kunafeh to end the meal and not too sweet, but hit all the right spots for a dessert

Service was amazing. Our waitress was super attentive to all our needs and went the extra mile. I had some extra treats like cookies and babkas that i ordered on the spot that they tried to accommodate for me, which is also greatly appreciated. But from what everyone says, I have to go and get a babka from landwer now

A little info about this location. There is underground parking available for the building and as well an entrance inside the building to access the restaurant. There is also a pay station available inside the restaurant where there may be some validation of parking

Great job overall!
Fantastic food from beginning to the end.
I will Definitely go back soon for another great meal.

One of the few places you get exactly what you see on the menu pictures. Food always looks amazing, generally taste great and I've never had bad service. Nice place to bring the family, though a bit more expensive than a truck stop diner.
Such a little gem in collingwood. Yummy Italian dishes, intimate and cosy atmosphere and wonderfully attentive service. Great spot for date night or a weeknight dinner outing.
HAD TAKE AWAY FROM SKIP THE DISH...THE EGG ROLL WAS BURNT BLACK. THE NOODLES WERE OVERCOOKED...AND THE FRIED WONTONS WELL ILL GIVE THEM AN EDIBLE BUT NOTHING GREAT

Came here for dinner the other night. They don’t take reservations but we were seated quickly. The tables are a bit close together, makes things a bit awkward when it gets busy.

We shared the burrata appetizer and a pear and walnut pizza. The burrata was really fresh and flavourful. We weren’t able to substitute the gorgonzola on the pizza which was a little disappointing but we still really enjoyed it.

Would come back again!

I've been eating here for a few years. They make authentic Italian pizza, great atmosphere, and decent speed of service. Other mains are delicious also. The only criticism I have is the speed of service. Don't be hangry, but have an appetite.
Shouldn't have the Cora name on the building. This one caught me off guard since I've been to other locations many times over the years. Every time we go, it's a treat and we leave with big smiles on our faces. Not once did I have a meal below 5 stars until this visit last week. To be clear, this was our first and last time at this specific Front Street location. One positive thing - there was no wait to get our seats (Should have been a red flag because we always have to wait). So I ordered one of my favourites "Louis the Undecided" and everything came to me as if they were trying to conserve ingredients. The crepe was half the size it should have been, the bacon was razor thin / half burnt & crispy, and the scrambled eggs with cheese was pathetically small and runny. I asked the waitress about the portions and she replied with "Eggs are small" ....You kidding me? Everyone else with me had a similar experience. We left pretty disappointed. "I guess Cora's has gone down hill" my wife later said. I wasn't going to leave this review until we went to an other location this week (York Mills & Don Mills ) Now this Cora’s was everything we expect and look forward to when we splurge on brunch. Prices are the same but the food was delicious & with generous portions. The Front street location sort of reminds me of restaurant chains around Niagara Falls overcharging and underproducing because of lazy complacency. Y’know the “sheep tourists probably won’t be back anyways” type of attitude.
So no, Cora’s is not going down hill. The Front street location just needs to do much better. I’m off to write my York Mills location review now. I’ll also leave a photo of today’s meal as an example of how to do better.

We visited Cafe Landwer for brunch and it’s the spot for those looking for a Mediterranean and Italian fusion taste. The atmosphere brought us back in time with its classic diner vibes - it’s like a nostalgic journey. Our server was super friendly and attentive, which was great. But, there were a few mishaps in the service. Our food took longer than expected, even though we ordered before others. Also, they forgot my smoked salmon, which only arrived halfway through our meal.

Despite the hiccups, our food was still awesome. The eggs Benedict Florentine, with the side of smoked salmon was a great choice. The protein-packed omelette was fantastic too. Don’t miss out on Landwer’s famous iced tea; it’s quite a great choice of refreshment. All in all, a great place for brunch, even with the minor mistakes in service.

First time to this fancy restaurant. The inside looks not as good as from outside.
Staff are kind and polite. Good atmosphere.
Choice of food is limited . But the bakery is great. Pizza is super. Also the Middle East style plate is recommended. The seats are too close to each other feeling lacked of privacy.

I really enjoyed their Mezza Platter, the Mediterranean Shakshuka. The platter quantity is sufficient for 2 people. The flavors of the 5 dips will pull your taste buds in different directions and they're best enjoyed with the pita breads. I'd suggest going at lunchtime to not feel stuffed. Great place to eat, nice vibe, and courteous staff.

Eggsmart has one of the best franchises, every restaurant feels the same, and produces the same great food. I tried a southwest breakfast burrito for the first time, and was not disappointed. It was fresh and had a very nice queso inside. The fries were amazing, usually other Eggsmarts use Costco fries, but these were larger and different. The fries had like a coating around them that got even more crispy, making it like a chip around your fries. I would come back especially for the fries.

Service was great, you are greeted right when you come in, and food comes out quickly.

Nodo Junction has been on my must try Italian food list for a few months and it met the expectations! Great Italian food with an inviting menu that will have you coming back to try everything.

Our table got a variety of pasta dishes including Gnocchi, ravioli, bucatini, papardelle. They were all delicious and unique. Cocktails were also unique and they have an extensive drinks menu. I tried the Nico. Service was also fast and friendly

I love the atmosphere, so cozy and charming. Nicest staff! And the FOOD is amazing. The mussels in white wine sauce added 10 years to my life. Everyone I’ve dined with here raves about their meals.
I probably should not rate this place bc literally every time I go I always get the chicken pad Thai, which is the best in the city. Not sure if their other food is good but they usually are busy so I'm assuming it is.

Honestly the best sushi places I’ve ever gone. I’m not much of a sushi lover, I go to the occasional Japanese restaurant and get maybe a couple of pieces but they never really fit my palette. Like places like Ichiban, or Sushi Moto, etc were never really interesting. But after discovering this absolute whole in the wall I can’t stop eating. As I’m writing this in the past 24 hours I’ve basically eaten half a platter of their sushi completely on my own. The staff are all amazing people always having an amazing time and really make you feel included and appreciated as a customer. I now go on an almost daily to weekly basis and always order the spicy or the creamy crab rolls exclusively but their huge platters are amazing for parties and gatherings. If you want amazing sushi and the fun and humour from a hibachi restaurant go to VIP sushi they’re cheaper and the experience is way better
Food here is mindblowing! They are a family run restaurant and really put their heart into what they serve! The staff is super friendly. We had the shrimps appetizer and pesto pasta both were delicious. For desserts we had their tiramisu and cannoli, both were great. Definitely worth the price!

Amazing Italian restaurant.

Great place for a first date.

I can't remember the last time a server not only cleared the table but also kept the table clean through the meal.

Martina was wonderfully attentive. Thank you.

A must go to in Toronto.
Came here for Saturday brunch with friends + baby & it was really good!

I shared the breakfast burrito and strawberry banana pancakes.

The burrito is in a crepe instead of a tortilla and that’s a substitute I would always choose for a burrito if I could.

The pancakes had crispy edges and were fluffy - strawberries bananas, and all other ingredients were fresh.

I’m a big coffee drinker and the coffee tasted like diner coffee - better coffee would make this 5 stars.

The wait for the food was pretty long so quicker would make service 5 stars.

Booster chair / table / baby and kid friendliness was great
We went here for Father's Day dinner and it was a wonderful experience.

The restaurant is so cute and esthetic. We got to chat with the owner and she is such a lovely lady.

Service is outstanding and food extraordinary. My 11 year old son also enjoyed it.

For dessert, he asked for chocolate crepe, but they made orange one by mistake... When we pointed out, they apologized and happily made him a new one..
Have been going here for years. Today I ordered Green Chicken Curry/Noodles. Barely any noodles and two pieces of chicken. Quality of food wasn’t what it used to be. You lost a long time customer today. I won’t be back.
This was the worst food experience I have ever had and would award it zero stars if I could. I threw out 2/3rds of the order of dinner for 6. Also, website has price at $69 but price charged was $99. Such a disappointment. Don't know how they can stay in business

The food here was fabulous! We had the grilled octopus and it was delicious! The seafood pasta with mussels, clams and shrimp was very well made and very tasty. We also had the squid ink risotto however we weren’t as impressed with that dish. Our server Carl was probably the nicest, funniest and best servers I’ve had the pleasure to deal with. He was top notch ! I’d highly recommend this place!

If you remember the chain of Chinese restaurants around toronto called HO LEE CHOW . They abruptly closed back in 2005. I used to get couple of dishes from them and I always had one favourite dish. After the closure of HO LEE CHOW I went on a Chinese food hunt to find my old favourite, after many searches and trail, I found this place, as soon as I found out that the owners are ex owners of HO LEE CHOW on Winston Churchill I was ecstatic. I’ve been their customer since 2008 and I always get one dish (satay chicken). They make it very well. I like that dish so much that I would choose that as my last meal before checking out.

My family and I have made “Egg Smart” at the Yonge and Sheppard location our go-to spot for weekend breakfasts, and overall, it continues to be a delightful experience. The food has consistently been delicious, and we appreciate the warm and inviting atmosphere.
The breakfast menu offers a wide variety of options, satisfying both savory and sweet cravings. The dishes are well-prepared and flavorful, and we always leave with satisfied taste buds. The service has been friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive dining experience.
However, we have noticed a slight decline in the quality and portion of the fruits served with our meals recently. In the past, the fruits were fresher and the portion size more generous. While this has not affected our overall enjoyment of the meal, we wanted to provide this feedback in the hope that it could be considered for improvement.
Despite this minor observation, we still highly recommend Egg Smart for a family breakfast outing. The menu variety, tasty dishes, and friendly service make it a reliable choice. We hope that the restaurant can address the fruit issue, as it would elevate the experience even further.

I ordered takeout from this location around a week ago, ordered through them by text (you can call or text the number to place an order), and they were quick to respond with prices and negotiable times for pick up. Good customer service!

Was greeted upon arrival with a warm welcome and good interactions with the workers, picked up the food shortly after and paid. The process was quick and easy, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced.

I noticed a few sushi takeout places around Yonge and Finch are skimpy with their fish and high on prices, but this shop is the exact opposite. Worth the visit.

While I normally don't enjoy Italian cuisine as much as others, I did rather enjoy the dishes I had.

Our waitress was friendly, and food was served rather quickly.

Everyone rather enjoyed their meals, while my favorite was the Bruschetta, I also did enjoy the Lamb Skewers. Both were appetizers.

Worthwhile, if you enjoy Italian and are looking for something on the more affordable side.
It was my first time in this establishment in London. I was meeting a friend for breakfast and I ordered 10 start omelette.
Omelette was fully loaded with a lot of items like ham, spinach, fried onions, mushroom, sausage etc topped with cheese and side of 2 butter bread of your choice. It also came with a piece of cantaloupe, pineapple and a strawberry which was nice.
Coffee re-fill was also available with no additional price and since I like my black coffee with breakfast so it was kind of amazing :)
Service was great and our server was kind enough to bring our food early than expected in that rush hour.
I would definitely recommend this place and would visit again for sure :)
It used to be decent quality and a good price and the quality went down slightly and the price went up drastically. Some items are 3 to 4 dollars more than they used to be a year ago and you can get the same exact thing the taste way better, and are far better quantity from Bangkok pad Thai and thaiphoon. Their fresh rolls used to be a decent price but they went down in size and our way over priced now as well as their coconut rice is ridiculously overpriced for what it is. And the curry was never really that great. Just a very watery yet flavourful sauce but now they just charge you way too much and put almost nothing in it but watery sauce. You can get the same food at many other places. For sometimes the same price for way better quantity and quality and sometimes a few dollars more but the quantity and quality is just so much better. It’s worth a couple bucks. This place was great when it was so much cheaper than the rest that you quality it was just a cheap, quick easy and somewhat tasty order and now it’s just not worth what it is. I would not recommend it anymore unfortunately And the pad Thai was never good. It was it was always garbage.
Low quality and waste of $. More vegetables than meat in the dishes.. like you really have to dig to find a meat piece. I love hot and sour soup. You can say I am a connoisseur of hot n sour soup. Lets just say this place is doing an injustice to the soup. Would not recommend. Please make the prices appropriately reflect the quantity and quality of the food.

It was satisfactory. I had the midi express which is the poutine of the day and a drink. I got a chicken poutine today. I am used to a lot of squeeky cheese so not my favorite but it was good. There was cheese don't get me wrong. I liked the sauce too! It was different from other places as well.
We have ordered take out from here for many years minus covid. We ordered last night for a special occasion and everything was SO disappointing . Chicken balls rock hard, other Chicken dish was rubbery, I could go on. We won't go back, and will not recommend
Vegan pad thai was delicious and filling. Thank you!

Their sushi platter is truly delicious! We enjoyed it so much. Just wanna suggest for them to update their prices online. It is deceiving because what you see there is different from what the actual price is. They claimed it wasn’t updated but we’ve been ordering for almost a year now and then and in that timeframe they never updated it🙈

Eggsmart is a great place to have a good chat over breakfast, brunch or lunch. They have a great selection of breakfast items and cater from the sweet tooths to the the fit conscious crowd. The staff are all very warm and friendly. I had the meat eaters 4 egg omlette with the side of homefries and rye toast, it was 10/10 for flavour, taste and presentation. The strawberry and banana pancakes were good but does not differentiate itself from the crowd, saying that I would still be back and try the waffles instead.
The atmosphere is light and positive and again the staff are amazing and make the whole experience pleasant. I gave it 4 stars because my purpose was I needed to have a conversation in a comfortable environment with some good food. The eggs were great but the pancakes were not but I feel there is potential to improve.

Excellent food and wonderful staff - awesome stop on our travels through Quebec!
Update: just sharing my experience, I don’t mind waiting for food but the food experience that night does not worth the time.

Yes I expect it comes with lemon flavor, but I don’t like the fact that it only has lemon flavor and no taste of meat. So I simply don’t like it. Maybe others will so I just want to make sure people don’t have wrong expectations like me.

And unfortunately the linguine comes with sand and rock…

Service is 4 star. Reduce 1 star because of food wait time, which was expected before I go because it’s a small restaurant according to their reply. Their kitchen probably couldn’t handle that much order at same time.

Food is only 3 star, which is unexpected for a 4.6 star restaurant I picked. Appetizer and drink is great, but when entries served the experience starts to go down. The veal seasoning is weird. Some spice (or lemon) makes it very sour so I couldn’t taste any other flavor. The seafood linguini flavor is decent, however they didn’t clean mussel/clam properly so it contains sands/rocks, which is a big thing for this dish.
the atmosphere of the place is nice, the service is slow, and the food is for people with no appetite, the portions are very small and the taste is not good, the price does not go with the quality and quantity, expensive and regular.

Ordered the Cora Special and Eggs Benedict with spinach + mushrooms for breakfast today and is was delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly and portions were plentiful. I only ate half of my food and was already full so my partner had a really great time having a second breakfast 😅

My server gave me the wrong tea but was kind enough to bring me the right one. It took longer than we thought for the food to arrive because we ordered when there weren’t much people in the restaurant however I will definitely recommend this place and come back to try their other items!!

Awesome!!! 👏🏼
My review is based on my first experience today. I happened to walk by and decided last minute to order the Black Dragon Roll. In one of my previous reviews, I ordered the same item at Sushi One and dined in. That was a mediocre experience. Today’s Black Dragon Roll here was ginormous, fresh, had a really good taste and the unagi (eel) tasted so much better here. I waited around 10-15 minutes only for my one item order. This place has no seating - takeout or delivery only. Highly recommend. The photos speak for themselves!!! The price is the same as Sushi One. I would therefore rather eat from VIPS Sushi.

I cannot recommend this place. the poutine is downright awful and unpleasant to eat and the fries are completely bland. The only saving grace of this place are the hot dogs and even then they aren't fantastic, only tolerable.

Was disgusting and disappointed I ordered off of uber I was missing a full trio and my other two trios were cold the hotdogs were disgusting soggy and cold the onions looks rotten will never order here again . 60$ for what?
I’ve been to many locations of Cora Breakfast and Lunch restaurants and I’ve never been disappointed. The food and service has always been great. I like the colourful artwork on the walls depicting the menu items. Very cool. I always order a skillet item. The Theo skillet was delicious. 👍☺️
June 14- Had a great breakfast today and our server Nohra was so nice and friendly! Thank you 😎
It's a good local place and has been in our community for many years. Food is usually fine but sometimes heavy on the vegetables / breading and less meat than average. On one occasion, ordered dinner for four and specifically asked for no onions. Was assured that only the spring rolls have onion. This is one of the dishes that arrived :(

Good price and food. My main gripe however is I they forbid me from filling my cup more than two times. That's just so cheap and unacceptable given how little wholesale beverages must cost to the restaurant.

Edit: some colleagues had the same experience. We won't come back.

good customer service, fairly clean and fast order time
Friendly staff, good service, I found the filet mignon sauce and fried a bit to salty but the meat was good

A usual valentine, but service a bit slow
Quaint, personalized service with consistent, delicious food. With kids or with adults, everyone was satisfied with their meal. Tender gnocchi, perfectly prepared veal and tastes-like-home spaghetti. They even do take out if you ask. Great any night of the week.
Seems the workers there are authentic Thai. This is the small size pad Thai which costed me 7.92 CAD with tax. I bought it and had it just a few minutes after paying…It was the most dreadful pad Thai I had ever had in my life! They claimed that they had fish ingredients in it, which I guessed that it was Thai fish sauce. It was not lightly fishy yet appetising as I expected. It was unpleasantly sour and the pad seemed to had been kept for long time in storage which became rancid! The shop claimed that they sold the best pad Thai in London. You are warned before trying! I shall never be there again!
I ordered pickup, Black pepper beef with steamed rice ($17). Food tasted OK and had good amount of spice but portion was unbalanced and could have used more beef, it was basically all onion under the top layer. This is a very small takeout place with no seating and it looks pretty dingy on the outside, the inside is not much better as it's very cluttered and not very appealing. There is parking available and service was pretty quick. The experience was definitely not anything special, I don't think I will be back anytime soon.
I had a vegetarian dish but, it really neither tasted nor smelt like a vegetarian food :-(

But, for those non-vegetarians who wants a vegetarian dish, they atleast have more options. The quantity was more as well.

Cheeseburger and poutine combo. Cheeseburger was okay, nothing to write home about. The poutine was not the greatest. Cheese curds weren’t fresh, the gravy was clumpy, the only thing excellent were the fries.
What a lovely Italian restaurant. This is definitely our favorite in Laval, we will be back for sure. Great ambience, great food ... what a lovely night with my family,
This is my go to restaurant..Friendly staff. Excellent food. Nice atmosphere.
First date or date night, this is the place to go.

Ordered a #3 hot dogs were awful, the bun was soaking wet like it had been soaked in water not steamed. I took it all dressed what I got was a triple mustard with cabbage, no onions or relish in sight. The hot dogs were then wrapped into another piece of wax paper where they smashed up against each other and let out their contents. The poutine, I used to love Valentine's poutine, home cut fries rich brown gravy what's not to like,
this poutine. The gravy was flavorless, fries were burnt and yet not crispy. The only passable thing was the cheese. Will not be returning as my 12$ meal went in the trash.
This is the second time in 2 weeks that I've gone to La vielle Banque and we were 6 each time.
The food was exceptional as was the Wine which was reasonably priced.
I recommend that you try their Foie poèlé and the Veal Marsale..
