Purchased a car from here to take to Ontario, they made the process very easy and took care of everything. It came with Ontario safety and Ontario taxes deducted so I didn't have to pay the tax twice and wait for a Quebec tax refund. The car has been great and I highly recommend this place!

Unfortunately I was having car issues and needed to pull off the 401, I headed straight to the ESSO. Unbeknown to me - Mechanic Dan was right next door. I went over and he immediately offered to come take a look at my car. Dan offered help in a moments of notice when he didn’t have too, his knowledge and kindness didn’t go unnoticed and I’m super thankful he was able to help in a stressful time. Thanks Dan!

I have had three recent oil/filter changes at Riviera, two on a Kia Rio, and one on a Lexus ES350. The Kia oil was overfilled to 5 litres (it takes 3.5). Had to wait 3 days before I could take the car back to have the excess oil drained out (8 Dec 2022). This week the oil was overfilled again, this time 4 litres. I drained the excess oil out of the crankcase, using a vacuum pump, through the dipstick tube. My Lexus ES350 was returned with the dipstick twisted by 90 degrees caused by forcing it into the dipstick tube. If this garage cannot do a simple dipstick check after replacing the oil and not damage the dipstick there is no hope. I have had work done at this garage for over 15 years but no more. I will never go back.

They were a huge help getting my car safetied to get Ontario Plates back on after I moved from Alberta. The customer service was excellent and very honest- another mechanic quoted me over 2000 for the replacement part however Riviera was able to fix the part themselves instead of fully replacing, which saved me about 1800 bucks! Would happily return.

Look for Anne Reyes! She's amazing. She found the perfect car for my partner and I, explained the process very well, and gave solid advice. The service is always exceptional. The service front desk is helpful and I want to shout out to the shuttle gentleman (very sorry I forgot his name) who picked me up from Costco and drop me off right at the front desk so I would not need to carry all heavy stuff around. Also front desk was very considerate to bring the car back to me, again, as I have lots of grocery with me.

Brought my 2020 Sienna to Charlesglen Toyota twice, spark plugs filled with oil, and engine rattled heavily when idle . Service manager said " It's normal to have spark plug filled with engine oil" , and deemed the car as " normal condition" , so they don't fix it. Will update video of the " normal rattled engine " soon. 5 start for their "bravely normal honest behavior" :)) , but not for their expertise :))

Great experience at this dealership. I was paired with May and she was both personable and professional, and we quickly developed a good relationship. May was very knowledgeable about the differences between trim levels and was able to help me choose one that best suit my needs. All staff I engaged with were helpful and very friendly. I have gone through the purchasing experience from numerous dealers over the years, and Charlesglen has been by far the best.
Stephen was a great salesman to deal with. Very knowledgeable of all things Toyota and the dealership. He genuinely seemed to be caring about getting the best deal possible.

This guy is a bust. He is so unprofessional. He books appointment and then when you are about to leave and out of courtesy call him that i am on my way he said sorry dont come today come tomorrow. What if customer dont remind and reach the place. Total waste of time. He fixed my car bumper and it came out in a month and he totally said there is nothing wrong and all and he wont do anything until i bring the bumper hanging with the car. He left me hanging there and went with other client and totally ignored what i was saying and then went inside without saying anything. He took so much time to do my job and then dont take responsibility for any mis-happening. Total fraud.

Went shopping for a used 2018 Civic. Grace Taylor was amazing at explaining everything to my daughter (she knows her Honda products!) dealing with her trade in.
Unfortunately we ended up going with a newer 2020 model elsewhere. Grace handled the refund of the deposit promptly and very professionally.

Really bad experience with these guys . I gave my car to them for quater panel work . Mohammad told me will get the car in 1-2 days . After 1-2 i was calling him to pick up the car but no reply on the phone . Went there nothing was done on the car . I dont know how these guys get these reviews here even they dont know how to fix a car leave the paint job . Really really disappointed with work and attitude towards customers. Better donate the money rather then fixing your car through them .believe me worst experience ever

I took my car to get the bumper fixed and the owner of this place told me that he will fix it in a week . He took 1 and half month to get it fixed ( which was beyond my expectations) He charged me for something which was i was never told .After refusing to pay the amount , the owner did not allowed to release the car which affected me to pay the charges which were never disclosed.
I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Can I have a few more stars to pass out? Knowing we had only a few minutes to get our RV connected or we'd have to return to Kingston to wait (tis the season) until we could book into a garage to see why our RV lights wouldn't work. Rick, the owner, fitted us in five minutes flat had the problem fixed and us on our way. Riviera Automobiles are now our "go to" for our vehicle needs.

Not very impressed. I brought my vehicle in on December 22nd for a rear quarter panel / rear bumper paint service. The owner Mo at time assured me that I'm leaving my vehicle in good hands. I took a gamble and brought my vehicle here and not to my usual bodyshop due to the positive rating from Google. After the winter season I started noticing blemishes with the paint and clear coat. White streaks started showing up around the rear bumper and rear quarter panel. The imperfection was so noticeable and instead of repainting the vehicle again I decided to wrap the vehicle... The wrap installers did a great job on every part of the vehicle except the parts that got repainted. The clear coat was terrible, I didn't notice all the runs till the wrap was on the bumper. The clear coat was so thin it peeled with the wrap when they tried to reapply the vinyl wrap to remove the bubbles. I asked the wrap company if they used a torch, and if they applied to much heat to cause this damage.. etc. They actually showed me video footage of the installation. The clear coat lifted as they tried to reduce the bubbles by lifting.
I contacted the owner Mo and sent him images of the damage. He quickly went on the defence and said that it was not their fault and will not take any ownership for the issue even thought this paint job was completed in Dec. He then added "we can sand down and prime for you then you can wrap it at a discount" No thank you, I will not take any of my vehicles nor will I ever recommend this body shop to anyone. I will instead warn people, colleagues, business partners, the automotive community etc about this place.
I should have brought it back to the shop to get it fixed when I started noticing the poor quality, and all the clear coat runs. Lesson learned.

I have been looking for a car for almost a month. I have dealt with several dealerships from Quebec and Ontario. After several appointments, I finally came accros Honda Lachute and I was astonished by the quality of service, the follow up and the deal I was offered - especially in the context of the car market today. Although I have decided to buy a new car from a local dealership (because of the interest rate) I would recommend Alexis and Grace for any future business. They were very professional, HONEST and worked with integrity. They also offered to do the safety in Ontario - most dealerships in Quebec don’t. They also reimbursed for the deposit I put on the car.

Absolutely horrendous experience, specifically dealing with Alex. I have never in my life been spoken to so rudely and condescendingly in a dealership. Not only would I never go here again, I’m curious how this guy still has a job. What an infuriating process, I urge everyone to take their business elsewhere.

I had urgent unidentified car troubles during lunch hour with 3 kids in the car and while driving 2 eldest children to their vax appointment on a very cold winter day (-27C). Despite an already busy schedule and no appointments or history at this dealership, they squeezed me in and provided excellent curteous service, put the car on a lift and found the source problem with fix. Beyond that, they showed genuine concern and offered solutions to get my family home safely!!

I recently had my car in for service at Riviera Auto and was very impressed. Within a few hours of Riviera Auto having my vehicle, they called me with a very detailed explanation regarding the exact issues my car had, the prices I was looking at, the options I had and a way quicker timeline than I had expected. From the beginning this team was awesome to deal with. They called me with updates, waited until I had made a decision to do any work and were very reasonably priced. I will be bringing my vehicle back to Riviera Auto for any future services.

I bought a car from Honda lachute that was told to be in working order, turns out car needed a whole new motor.
Edit: The car left me stranded not even a week later after buying, the car needed many things to be safetied even though I was told it was in working order.

We drove here from Gatineau and it was well worth the drive. Professional friendly service from Marie-France and the rest of the team. I love my "new to me car". The car was prepared for us at short notice and the brand new mats were a real bonus! I would recommend this dealership to anyone. Some dealerships seems disdainful of those not buying a brand new car but none of that here!

Worst experience buying a car.
I thought buying from Honda would mean first class service or at least good service. Not the case. I didn’t haggle the price even a dollar and when I came to realize that they are selling me a car with winter tires on it in the middle of June I asked that they put a set of all seasons on for me so that I don’t spend another $800 on tires after buying a practically brand new car from them.
Long story short they sold me a set of good tires for $300 which I agreed to prior to showing up. No problem. I came from another city about 2 hours away and gave them a heads up that I’m going to be there soon. When I get there the finance manager was nowhere to be seen and I spent about an hour just hanging out. After getting all the paperwork done I was told by the salesman (who was a cool guy just stuck working at a bad dealership) that they could not install my tires for me. That’s another $100 out of my pocket. No problem.
I get into the car to take off and I realized I forgot to pay the $300 so I go back in..... they charged me tax...... on the tires that were not brand new.......
On top of everything the car was below empty with gas..... I have never in my life been to a dealership that would do that.....
My father made me put some gas in before I dropped off my trade in because he said it would be disrespectful to give them the car with the gas light on.
Eitherway right before I left I forgot to get the second fob for the car. I went back in a second time before taking off to get the second fob. He goes to check and comes back empty handed saying that there is no second fob and that a second fob is almost $300......
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I am shocked by the service I received and quite traumatized to be honest.
If you live in Ontario do not even think about going here because there is a big difference between the professionalism and business ethics the dealerships share.
I thought buying from Honda would mean first class service or at least good service. Not the case. I didn’t haggle the price even a dollar and when I came to realize that they are selling me a car with winter tires on it in the middle of June I asked that they put a set of all seasons on for me so that I don’t spend another $800 on tires after buying a practically brand new car from them.
Long story short they sold me a set of good tires for $300 which I agreed to prior to showing up. No problem. I came from another city about 2 hours away and gave them a heads up that I’m going to be there soon. When I get there the finance manager was nowhere to be seen and I spent about an hour just hanging out. After getting all the paperwork done I was told by the salesman (who was a cool guy just stuck working at a bad dealership) that they could not install my tires for me. That’s another $100 out of my pocket. No problem.
I get into the car to take off and I realized I forgot to pay the $300 so I go back in..... they charged me tax...... on the tires that were not brand new.......
