I've been working with Guillaume for a while now and he's a great guy to work with. Always honest and very hard working. I have a lot of respect for his work. Definitely would recommend working with him.

We hired Dave to paint the ceiling in our family room and kitchen. He did a fabulous job! Dave was prompt, thorough and professional. We would most certainly recommend him without hesitation!

Hardware heaven for people living in the neighborhood. I had great experience visiting this store, and I was looking to buy furnace filters and some brick wall screws. They have a lot of on floor staff, so if you've a question, don't shy to ask.

Well-run, typical big-store prices. Tool rental, etc. You can find knowledgeable staff, typically not the younger staff though. Look for the old-timers.

Generally far better than the RONA+ in the vicinity (e.g tool selection).

Victoria who helped with my paint just the other day provides absolutely superb customer service. The way she works stands out by a perfect fusion of expertise and sincere concern. She has been a pleasure to deal with, and I have found her to be very noteworthy in her responsiveness and attention to customer needs. 10/10 thank you!!!!

After not being able to find a flashlight that they showed 3 of in stock, I had them place an order for delivery from the warehouse, which showed 56 in stock. This order has now been cancelled twice since Dec. 22nd due to "the item not being in stock".. Now I have waited an HOUR on hold first thing in the morning, albeit not consecutively, since the call was ended multiple times while waiting. I have given them 2 stars because the times I have managed to get a hold of the store, they have been helpful, but I am leaving the country on the 31st and this was supposed to be a replacement for a defective one of the same model for my father, where there are no home depots. Utterly disappointing service

Visited this Home Depot to pick up Christmas decorations and some home decor. Love that they have such a festive holiday display. Recently had been to this location to purchase shelving units, paint and an area rug. Great store layout and lots of stock to choose from. Easy self check out process. Staff was helpful too when I asked about a garden plant product. Would definitely recommend store. 🥰☃️🎄

We just had our house painted with Paul and his son and they did a fantastic job. We couldn't be happier with the result and Paul is so pleasant to work with, I'd highly recommend his services.

To be honest, I was actually blown away with the service I received at this location as I haven't had the same experience at other locations- Guillermo helped us with an issue we had with installing our new dishwasher. His patience and care came shining through as he took the time to look through user manuals and ensure we had the right parts so we got it done properly. With his advice, we got our installation done right and we didn't have to go back. He honestly exceeded our expectations by leaps and bounds - service is a lost art and many people don't care if they lose a customer but I will say this: where I had no loyalty to any hardware store prior to this, home depot has won over a customer for life solely based on the experience Guillermo provided. I recently had an outstanding experience at this store, all thanks to Sam Davidson in the hardware department. I was disappointed when I couldn't find the Milwaukee tool I was looking for due to a mislocation. Normally workers say it’s not in stock or can’t find it .However, Sam went above and beyond to assist me. Not only did she help me find a solution, but she also offered me a fantastic discount on a Milwaukee jacket that I couldn't refuse. Her exceptional customer service truly made my day. I highly appreciate his dedication and willingness to assist customers. I'll definitely be coming back, thanks to Sam's helpful and friendly demeanor. Highly recommended

I just bought 30 pieces of plywood. Pro desk refused to help with forklift and even help to load it on the buggy. He was not rude, but no help.
Is that Home Depot policy?
In a month I will be 62, dear Store Manager, try to do it, and then push the buggy.
Avoid location!!!!!

Great job, great eye to detail and great advice on paint colours when requested, professional, on time and very meticulous. Very happy with the results, lots of positive comments from everyone who has seen it. Highly recommend Paul to all friends.

Paul recently painted 2 bedrooms that had horrible colours chosen by the previous owners. Paul was very professional and easy to work with. He was always on time, responsive to our emails, and he does excellent quality work. He provided excellent advice on the colour selection to cover the previous room colours and we are very impressed with how the rooms look now. He did an amazing job at covering up the old dark wall colors! We highly recommend Paul.

Paul recently painted our entire house and we love it. He was organized, detailed and fixed many things. He was very reasonable and timely. I would recommend Paul for sure!

Worth every penny! There is no way that I could have pulled off the clean, crisp finish David achieved. The job involved lots of exposed ductwork that I wanted uniformly painted with the walls and ceiling. It went from being an eyesore to a beautiful feature of the space. 5 months later, I haven't seen any streaks, drips or peeling. Dave was the most responsive of the 7 or so painters I'd initially reached out to for quotes and I appreciated the time he took to not only answer my questions but visit my house for an in-person consultation. He showed up on time, worked diligently, and made sure to get the project done within my time frame. Dave is a seasoned professional and a friendly guy. Highly recommend his services.

As a realtor prepping a house for sale, my stager and I were very impressed with Dave’s professionalism and the quality of the job. He came and did a thorough consult to define the work, helped on colour selections, determine time, labour and materials, providing a detailed quote. His work was excellent and impacted positively on our ability to generate a fast and high sale. The job was particularly challenging as it required painting out an original wood kitchen and a number of interior doors (also wood). Highly recommend!

Dave did an amazing job of Painting our main living area. There were high walls up to the 2nd floor that I wouldn't be able to reach without renting ladders. There's also a stair area to be done which also poses difficulty without the right tools. To save myself from renting various ladders to do the work, hiring a painter was key to complete. Looking around, lots of companies offering interior painting, it's hard to know which to choose. I had reached out to a few companies for quotes and it gives me a view on what they're like when they come for a consultation. There was a huge difference between the big guys and Dave. Dave actually is the painter who also does consultation, the others send estimators who don't actually do the work. Got a much more personal feel from Dave. When the quotes come in, Dave was the clear winner with not only price but comfortability he knew his stuff. The others could send anyone for the job. I scheduled Dave and he came pretty quick for a 2 day job. While he was here, Dave was professional with all the work he did and care of the area around him. He was neat and tidy with his equipment and tools, instead of having it spread all over the place. My wife and I were working from home when he was here. We were able to walk around and take our dogs outside with no issue. Dave was great with the dogs. The final product after his painting was incredible. He turned a golden brown paint job which always looked dirty into a light grey paint job which adds a lot of light to the main living area. Amazing what a clean paint job adds to a room.
Long review I know, but Dave is well worth your time and money. He was fantastic and I'd recommend him for any painting project you have. Much better to hire him for it than do it yourself. His price is great and nearly half the other big companies. Don't get scared by the big guys, give Dave a call and get a quote to see how reasonable his price is compared to the others.

Dave did an amazing job painting our entrance and up to our second floor walls. He is very professional and meticulous in his work. He is such a friendly person it was a pleasure to have him in our home. We would not hesitate to hire him again!

We cannot recommend Paul highly enough! He is professional, meticulous, and such a nice guy. He painted our entire home, while offering us valuable advice from start to finish: his keen eye for detail and design sense brought our home from the 1960s to the 2020s. Hire him! You will not be disappointed!

Can't say enough good things about Dave and the paint job that he did for our home. He did all of the walls, ceilings, baseboards, and doors in our home and did a great job. He is so kind and friendly and just a great person to have to do your painting. I got into long conversations with him about all sorts of things which makes Dave someone everyone would want to be friends with. Great communication, great work, and reliable. Guillaume and his painters came and painted my house and did a marvellous job I’m giving them a 11 out of 10 them did more than I expected and even had a cleaner in to clean-up after. This is a very good group of painters.

I had a water stain on my ceiling. Paul was able repair only that area without having to repaint the entire ceiling. It involved fixing the old drywall tape and re-applying several layers of drywall compact to smooth the ceiling. He used leftover paint I had. Paul did an amazing job, you cannot even tell that area had a stain where it was repaired!!!!!

He also repainted the main bathroom for me and I was also just as happy with the quality of his workmanship.

Dave was great to work with! He answered every question we had, he knew exactly what needed to be done and did it to perfection. We had a lot of issues with the walls that needed to be fixed prior to painting and he did an amazing job fixing the walls and then painting. You could tell he took his time and cared about providing fantastic quality. I would recommend him to anyone who was looking for a painter.

I had Ottawa Gatineau Painting paint the exterior of my home. The following is my experience:
-Damaged my property. They damaged my roof.
-Didn't take responsibility for their damage. Although Guillaume (the owner) was nice when we first met, Guillaume got aggressive with me when I talked about the damage to my house and he didn't take responsibility although his crew had been the only ones on my roof.
-Never received an updated receipt.
-Crew members are very loud, lots of constant shouting. It was embarrassing.
-Generally disorganized and poor planning. Examples: I had to provide some tools for them to do the job; They miscalculated the amount of paint needed for the job.
-Didn't finish painting my fascia because it was 'too hard' and required 'too many' coats (although I was ready to pay them for their time).
-Left a mess with my garden water hose and hose nozzle: paint all over it and damaged.
-Cleaned their brushes and rollers in my plants.
-Many paint dribbles on my exterior flagstone front steps and walkway. The dribbles won't come off now and it looks ugly. This could have been 100% prevented if they had either been careful and not dribbled on my flagstone walkway and steps or cleaned off the dribbles with water.
-Crew members were nice.
-The Sico paint they use is a good exterior paint that is working well for me so far.

I would not recommend them. My experience was not a good one.

Salut Guillaume,
First things first, I’m not angry with you, you’re not important enough for that. What I am is very dissatisfied with this project. I would also suggest that you do not post all your dirty laundry online.
Regarding my damaged roof, in your last communication with me, you stated that you would borrow equipment from your roofer friend and you would complete the flat roofing repair by yourself (although you told me that you had never installed flat roofing before). In the review response, you are now saying you would have come with your roofer friend to complete the job. You are altering the facts. More importantly, you now accuse me of trying to gain financially from it (which doesn’t make sense). To make this clear, you were the only ones on the roof that could have caused this damage and your initial response to me was: “I’m starting to see that there is someone who is trying to convince you that we are responsible for all the problems of your house, and that is starting to bother me.” It is more than clear by your responses and lack of ownership; these issues will never be resolved. You continue to not take responsibility and seem to like drama. I’m sorry that I every requested your services. I have better things to do with my time than to continue these conversations.

They did an excellent job and they where fast Guillaume and his guys came and actually did à bit more work than they where suppose to so thank you very much.

Guillaume and the Ottawa Gatineau Painting team came to the Ottawa Tennis and Lawn Bowling Club for a last minute job of painting the whole building, the inside! They were wonderful - fast, professional and the job was pristine. Would definitely use them again!
