It is super expensive but super tasty.

We've tested the menu dégustation, this is a good way to be served when you can't choose what to pick in the huge menu list.
However, I would expect more exotic choices from the waiter. Everything was pretty basic (hommos, moussaka, tabbouleh... Lettuce (°-° ) )... Entering was pretty good though.
The tea was slightly warm, even after asking to add hot water in it, tea bag couldn't infuse correctly.
I don't want to make bad promotion of the place as it is q great restaurant, but for the price I'm a bit disappointed.

Amazing tasting food and excellent quality of fish, shrimps and meat. Taboulé was very tasteful as well. I recommend getting the dégustation menu if it’s your first time and you’re looking for a traditional experience. Also plates are available in both small/large so you could go for drinks (a good selection of beers and wine) and order some mezze on the side.

Everything was amazing, not a single miss in what we ordered. The skeweres were a must get and the dips were perfection. The only disappoint thing was the pita that comes with the meal is just okay, but as a vessel to get all the other delicious things worked.
I rarely write reviews but I have to this time. This has been the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. Extremely rude girl (short brunette), not sure if she is the owner but the attitude and the rudeness was unbelievable. We kept thinking why we are getting this treatment and the only thing that we could think off is that they don’t like English speaking people.
Also the portions were more like samples and very expensive but that’s really why I’m writing the review, I just want customers to know how this place treat others

Amazing food, seriously. Everything we ordered was excellent. The staff are wonderfully kind, knowledgeable, and helpful, and the atmosphere is surprisingly quiet and intimate. Having an on-site sommelier is a treat, he was able to suggest wine pairings to the food as we ate. 10/10 experience.

Overall we had a great experience. I would revisit.

1. I expected the portions to be slightly larger.
2. Music could be improved. Since it’s a Syrian restaurant, I expected to hear Maqams instead of «house of the rising sun»

They are close!!!
The website indicated they are open. i called phone rings, so I thought maybe they were just busy because it was lunch time, and I drove 45 minutes just for nothing !!!

The flavors blew my mind. Pretty much everything was great, but the chicken chich taouk was particularly flavorful and well spiced. The mazza was so good, I was almost full just from eating the different dips with the libanese pita bread. The M.O.M. (Mango, Orange, Mint) drink was excellent. We were completely stuffed and hope to go back some day.

Delicious Armenian and Lebanese cuisine. The appetizers were very tasty, but the kebab was a little heavy for me and with a lot of extra spices. Other than that it was all about taste and friendly service
Great place to celebrate events and try some good Armenian food for a night dinner. Armenian food is a mix of Mediterenian and Eastern Europe food. Try their juicy chebureks (deep fried flat meat pies) or grilled dishes. Their babaganush is simply amazing. It has something secret in it that chefs dont want to share, but the flavor is superb. Service is quick, polite, but has a strict feel to it. Like all easter europe places.

I went with my friend here for the first time to try the authentic Syrian food. We ordered Fettouche, Taboule salads along with Kabab Khach- Khach, Chicken Taouck for main course. The food had appreciable taste and the portions were filling.
For cherry on top, we ordered Red Wine as well which tasted pretty decent too.

We had a takeout order and a sit down meal within 2 days at this restaurant and had a chance to eat pretty much every single item on their menu.
It is hands down the best Armenian in the GTA. Their beef, chicken and lamb shish kebabs and lyula were cooks to the absolute best possible juiciness!
Loved their khachapuri and chebureki was to die for! Do not miss out on their Armenian sale either!

Food is average. The restaurant did not appear to be very kids friendly. The waiter made unnecessary remarks directly to my kids and he gave them bad look. I was disappointed . I recommande to make some change by ensuring your restaurant welcomes kids and understand that they are many other restaurants that can offer better food and better service

Wonderful service and delicious food! We had a Birthday party and 35 people attended. We couldn't have asked for better service, copious amounts of tasty food and served quickly and efficiently. I will definitely return again and again.
Really good food and service! The tasting menu was excellent, and they made everything very vegan friendly.

First of all,I asked for garlic sauce and they said that it was include in the sandwich. It wasn't. The sauce was a mess I got my shirt all dirty because of it. They took like 10 min for 1 sandwich. This is really disappointing dont fo here, go to Amir instead

I went to eat here because of the 4.5 stars reviews but unfortunately I was shocked at how inedible the food was. I ordered cheese sticks, arayes, baba ghanouch, and mixed grilled plate. Everything had literally too many spices to the point that you can’t decide. At the end, didn’t eat the $60 mixed grill plate. Very disappointed.

A Hidden Gem! Amazing food! Quick & courteous service & solid recommendations when you want try something new. We ended up ordering take out appetizers on top of full meal to enjoy at home. 100% will be back when in the area for sure. Place was quiet with few patrons. ( visited on a Sunday mid-afternoon )
P.S. Meat Kutabi are to die for! A must. & was our 1st time tasting.

Went here for a bday celebration and had a decent time. Based on the servers recommendations we opted for the tasting option where the server selects dishes and goes on till you indicate whether your appetite is satisfied or not. Also opted for the wine based on the sommelier recommendation. In general the food is 50-50, ie 50% of the dishes were good rest were average. The wine recommended was not very good unfortunately. Very light bodied so did not go well with the course (we had requested for a medium bodied wine). Not sure given the price we will come back but overall recommend the place for a visit.

Great food overall and so happy I got to the Syrian cuisine. We tried the “tasting menu” (basically a la carte prices but they pick an assortment based on your preferences). Highly recommend asking for the labneh, Muhammara, beef tartare, fattoush salad and taboulleh. The kebabs (chicken & beef were good too). The only setback was the wine. We did taste it at first, but it didn’t sit well, and no one did a quality check on it after - and it was a bit poor to our liking. Service was also a bit slow and underwhelming (server forgot my cocktail a few times, was quite slow). Overall, great food - be prepared for a long and really unique meal!
Delicious Lebanese cuisine. Totally recommend it. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked and was juicy and quite tasty. Great taboule, and the baba ganoush had an amazing smoky flavour.
The service was helpful and quite friendly. Good portions that were enough to satiate even a hungrier than average person.
The food was amazing , the service that we had was fabulous, the atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy with some dim lights, it could be a good spot for a date.
We had no reservation , but the reception found a solution for us.
I would recommend the Akrass naanaa (starter) , cream stuffed atayef (dessert) , and the fish was good , but I believe the lamb would have been amazing

Super delicious, great pricing, nice people.
Very good food and friendly staff. For me, the Chicken Tarator appetizer really stood out. The waiter told me that the Chicken Taouck recipe was the same for 40 plus years. I can see why, it was fantastic. Highly recommend it. Be careful when ordering, everything looks good and tastes even better. Ordered too much food and didn't have any room for desert. It's a shame, they looked amazing.
They were not open for dine in due to a party going on but they accommodated my take out & made the super meat combo fresh. I loved the juicy yummy meat and tabouleh combo. The food lasted me for two servings even though I was famished. Will visit again.

The tastiest grilled meats cooked to perfection every single time!!! Always A+ service from the Massis team!!!
Authentic well executed dishes and very friendly service.

I loved the fact that all dishes are available in small or large portions.
We had taboulé (excellent), fatouche, hummus, and falafel (excellent) , Kebbe Naye and Armenian sausages to start and then had the schiche tawuk and the Kefta.

The waiter helpfully saved us from ordering too much.

They have a truly amazing natural French wine selection (a bit pricey) with every region very well represented and some hard to find wines a work of a passionate sommelier.

I guess this is 5 stars for Armenians standard. The sandwiches need a bit of juiciness but they are still good. Lovely owner.

First time trying Armenian Cuisine - it did not disappoint! The exterior is nothing special, you would probably miss it or just keep walking by if you didn’t know this hidden gem existed.

The service was very friendly and attentive with an atmosphere that created a mix of casual / fine dining. The restaurant is small but they do have a private room for larger parties.

We ordered a few items off the menu, all were quite delicious. First came the complimentary warmed bread and pickled cabbage (questionable). Then they brought out the salad, which was very fresh, and fried potatoes- delicious! Mains were cooked perfectly and flavourful. Portions are large and very filling. We ordered the beef kebabs and shared it between 2 people.

Overall, food was delicious and service was great. Definitely recommend and will be back!
Amazing Armenian food! The owner is pure Armenian, extremely respectful and classy. The food is phenomenal and the service is great. The prices are more than fair. For those who want to try a signature Armenian dish, you absolutely must try the pork ribs at this place with the house salad (or even better the Armenian salad) and potatoes. Their soups are amazing too, harcho or kyufta is what I usually get and they are awesome! I also need to add that their pork ribs reminded me of the wonderful time I spent in Yerevan. It really tastes very authentic and Armenian/home-made. If you would like to get an alcoholic beverage, they have Ararat Armenian brandy which is a must, or if you would like a non-alcoholic beverage, they have magnificent Armenian coffee which is a must also! Definitely try this place. It's magnificent!
