One of the best sexual clinics in the GTA. Its free yes. It doesn’t require ID. The staff were very helpful. They have free condoms and tampons and lubricants for those in need.

Like many others, I don’t understand why this clinic has such negative reviews.

I don’t understand all the negative reviews. I have been going there for the last 4 plus years for my routine checks and pap. My experience has been wonderful both over the phone and in person.

This is the best pharmacy in Toronto, hands down. You get treated like a person and not just a ‘number’. It’s owned by a LGBTQ+ community member and they got a lot of resources available! Look no further. Forget Shoppers and come to this pharmacy!

Anyone that knows the people that work here know that this place if filled with good energy. Just genuine good service and love in the community. Dr Michael is an ally, very communicative, caring and empathetic and I see that in all the people I have interacted with at medsEXPERT.

I want to give 1 star but they did give a reasonable service. But like 2-3 years back they discriminated me. I put my gender as "other, Male. I am from a different culture, I did not know what Cis-male means back then. The guy at reception got irritated "are you a biological male?" Then crossed out my choice and ticked "cis male". I asked what it ment and he was sarcastic. To cross out my answer to gender I choose seems hypocritical now I think about it. Couldnt care less what anyone identifies as so why cross out my choice. In a professional medical enviroment to do this seems discriminatory. Mentioning this incase it happened/happens to others

I moved here to this pharmacy from Shoppers Drug Mart on Younge and College. While there has been a few hiccups with a few meds during the transfer (to be expected) they have been quick to rectify and extremely helpful!! Things that took hours or days at my last pharmacy takes minutes here! It also spectacular to see lots of items in store that are important to LGBTQAI2 sexual health needs as well. Keep up the awesome work and I will be telling my friends how great my experience has been.

Update*** I have now been a client for almost 1 year and am still constantly surprised by the level of support and friendliness here! Highly suggest giving them your business! Bravo team!

This pharmacy brings the idea of 'medical care' to a whole new level. As soon as I walked in, it was calm & relaxed. A wonderful atmosphere.
Not only did they make it extremely simple for me to transfer my medical needs to their location, I noted that they know their other customers well & treat them with great respect. While I was there with one staff member, another customer had to discuss some of their medication situation; the staff member was gentle, kind and took them further back to a consultation area so that they could discuss their medical needs openly in a safe & private environment.
I was VERY impressed and I'm 100% confident that I've found my neighbourhood pharmacy for life.

I just called in to ask for information on my file from 8 months ago, just for reassurance and the doctor of the office was no help whatsoever. He rushed the call as if he had no patience. It’s good places like this exist but sad people like that exist.

As someone without a family doctor, Hassle Free has been a godsend. Dr. Arlene is thoughtful, thorough, and kind; reception is great and super accommodating. If you need reproductive healthcare, I can't recommend them enough.

The all-female staff is professional, kind, helpful, and lovely. Not judgmental and offer a lot of great thorough important services.

Yes sometimes it takes some time to be seen for your appointment, but it is a well-run, important, and let's realistic probably underfunded and underpaid clinic so people should stop complaining.

Came here for this first time and was called in 5 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and I was out of there in about 45 minutes! Really grateful for the positive experience, would highly recommend!

Non-Canadian visitor here, and it was a great first experience with their focus on privacy and comfort. I felt seen and cared for by both clinicians who saw me. I would definitely return for regular check-ups if I lived here. Thank you for the quick and effective treatment!

Not great experience, the Dr. made assumptions about me and gave more push back to than necessary when I explained my symptoms. She pushed back against getting an ultrasound. The Dr. also did not provide said results of ultrasound and had them completed by the medical receptionist, who did not provide enough detail.

Honestly, hands down, the best pharmacy team in Toronto! They truly care about their patients. 2 years ago, I was temporarily relocating across the country and during my stay, I received a call from the pharmacy owner — just to check in on my well-being. I will never forget this, or the care, attention and love they offer their clients. Outstanding!!

I’ve been a patient at this clinic for over 5 years and the experience I have varies.

In the beginning they were helpful, compassionate and empathetic. They are incredibly resourceful and responsible (as of this date) in ensuring all your records are on file (as far as I’m aware).

In 2020, there was an incident where I came in and was told that I was unable to change my IUD with a doctor because it wasn’t deemed “a medical emergency” given that COVID was at it’s peak. Although true, the doctor on site failed to show empathy or even care to hear why I came in and wanted it changed to begin with (was experiencing major discomfort and was overdue for a change). She refused to change it and gaslit me about coming into an appointment that wasn’t “necessary”.

The receptionists in person in my experience seem content and respectful vs to on the phone (rude and dismissive). I give this place 3 stars for their efforts that have helped me in the past but agree with the other reviews in regards to getting a 50/50 overall satisfied or dissatisfied experience.

I had a great experience removing an iud at this clinic. The procedure was painless! The nurse and doctor were very friendly and professional and made me feel comfortable and at ease! You do have to wait in the waiting room for a while though so make sure you have something to keep you occupied… but that’s how every one of these clinics are so it’s not too bad or out of the norm. Would definitely recommend this place otherwise

First of all, the staff, nurses, and the doctors here are so welcoming and make you feel safe. I got my IUD back in September and I was so afraid to get done. The doctor was a female, so I felt safe, and I swear it only took 5 minutes to get it in. It was not that painful. This is the place to go.

When I called to get info, the man hung up on me. At 1st I thought it was a mistake, but, I tried 3 times and 3 times he hung up on me. Odd???

Based on all of the negative reviews, they clearly must have replaced some of their staff because my experience here — from making the appointment to the in-clinic experience to following up for test results — was extremely pleasant.

I came to this clinic for an IUD removal, and calling to make the appointment itself was hassle-free. When I arrived, I was late due to a traffic accident, and despite being the last patient of the day and presumably cutting into their free time, they were extremely kind and understanding upon check-in, which made me feel at ease.

The nurse was very personable, compassionate, and she made sure I understood all of my options for birth control going forward without placing any pressure on me. The doctor who removed the IUD was also very friendly, comforting, and most-importantly, efficient with the way she handled the procedure.

The aftermath was great too, as the nurse made sure I had plenty of resources before I left and provided me with a website and phone number to reach out to in case I had any questions.

They did some testing for free while I was there as well, and when I called for the results a few days later, the receptionist I spoke to seemed very kind and eager to help (despite me having called before the results were ready).

As someone without OHIP, I don't plan to go anywhere else for my gynecological needs. It was a very comfortable environment, and in my opinion, very worth the commute from downtown — I highly recommend this place.

Amazing place for lgbtq+ needs and medical care. Get your prescriptions here super clean and safe space with a great staff right in the heart of the village community! Stop by!

I LOVE this clinic. I have been going here since around 2010. Everyone is so nice and the place is so lgbt+ friendly. I get my paps and tests done here and I very much trust them and they also give the plan b pill for free. I really love it here.
