My experience with this private parking agency was nothing short of a nightmare. Despite consistently paying for parking and having clear receipts, I found myself slapped with four unjust parking violations – conveniently absent from my windshield. When I discovered these phantom charges on their site, I promptly disputed them, providing rock-solid proof of payment. Shockingly, my attempts at resolution were met with an eerie silence, leaving me hanging. To add insult to injury, I was then pursued by a relentless collection agency on their behalf. Forced to cough up an exorbitant $700 to salvage my credit record, this agency's utter disregard for communication, unjust fines, and resorting to collections paint them as a disgraceful, untrustworthy entity. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy being robbed of your money and peace of mind

Their tactic is wrongfully issuing you a ticket and then wasting your time in disputing( if you kept the receipt as ppl don’t usually keep receipts when there is no ticket on the windshield), then ignoring your disputing and sending it to a collection agency..
Thieves protected by their lawyers!!

Have to say the older gentleman who works security on Sundays is super rude, asked him a quick question regarding a payment issue and he pretty much scolded me for asking a simple question... I guess that's not in his pay grade...

Terrible. Stinks of urine, the ceiling is peeling apart due to water damage and the elevator to the surface never works, so good luck if you have a stroller or wheelchair. This place is what folks in business call “minimum viable product”. It works and makes them money either way so why fix or improve it. Since it’s so close to the ROM they basically have a guaranteed source of clueless customers who don’t know what they’re in for. Hopefully this review helps them avoid this dump entirely.

Elevator was broken - but for the ease of access to the ROW, the price is worth it. Just fix the elevator because several parents we saw were struggling with strollers, one can only imagine how wheelchair users manage.

You'll liked need to drive around a bit to find a spot, but pay attention to signage prior to turning in this tight space. It's affordablish.

Quite dirty, but functional

Great location but as many reviews mentioned it not safe. My car was broken in and all contents was ransacked. Luckily nothing was stolen as they couldn't find anything worthwhile. No camera near the parking spot. Filed a report with security, but it seemed just a formality and the guard indicated it's very common occurrence there.

Convenient parking location in the market ! Can be busy at points but overall easy access and right in the centre of Ottawa

One of the nice place to park your vehicles in the Ottawa city before visit to the any of the places in the city. Easy to access and paid parking just behind the cathedral.

The elevator has been out of service for more than a week. The only way out with a stroller / on a wheelchair is through the car ramp. Spots are narrow. Getting in and out from both sides of a vehicle is impossible.

Returned to my car after an anniversary dinner with my wife.
It took 20 minutes to get to the exit gate of the parking garage. When we got there the payment option failed and the gate didn't open, for anyone trying to leave. The person working there literally did nothing. Many many cars were trapped driving around in the parking garage for almost an hour trying to pay and leave. Surprised nobody broke the gate, as we all had every right to get out. Nobody should have had to pay for that experience, and that employee should be dismissed.
NEVER PARK HERE.

Parking was good, little tight. Hint: back into your parking spot if you are there for a show at the Theatre. Saw some cars having trouble backing out to leave during end of the show.

This is my first time using the GrrenP app to find this GreenP Parking. I am pleasantly surprised how easy it is to pay from my cell phone... just put the number on the parking meter, put in the time needed. You can add a debit credit card to your GreenP account and the parking is paid electronically, just like you use your debit card shopping anywhere you normally go shopping. I love this new modern way.....no more coins, no more guessing, no more ticket stub in the dash to avoid a ticket...if more time needed, just add it from your app on your cell phone

​We paid $16 from 7 am to 6 pm the time we parked @ this parking lot on weekdays.
Same as what other reviewers (Zac Johnson, and L) commented in the past months, we (including the vehicle in front and behind us) paid the ticket at the ticket machine (located right in front of the gate) but the gate doesn't open at all and none of us able to get out until we showed our parking tickets to the attendant (luckily, there's one on duty at that time!) who also was very busy to deal with the exact same situation on another lane.
We prefer to park outside meters ​on the same street, if available. ​We don't have to deal with that 'gatekeeper' issue again, at least. ​

Amazing location, great to explore downtown Ottawa. Just walking distance to many facilities around the suites.
The room is clean, and has a kitchen including a fridge, stove, utensils, coffee etc.
There’s no check-in desk and they use the Yale smart system and access codes to enter the building and the room as well.
I got quick help and a fast email reply when I inquired about door access.
The only challenge is that you have to park your car in a public parking space because the place has no parking facility.

Very reasonable prices for the long term lot, a couple minutes walking distance to the entrance of the airport.

$16 for 7am to 6pm on weekdays, and $8 for weekends. Night rate is $8. If you park there from 11am to 7pm, you will pay $22. Still good price for parking, and it has parking spots available in the lower levels (B3 when I was there). Elevator available for going upstairs but not for going down, and this is something I am really unhappy with.

Parking was incredibly easy, garage is clean compared to others and the rate isn't bad. Why did I give it 5 stars? LOCATION! This is in an ideal location to sight see, visit the ByWard Market, short walk to Parliament Hill. I agree with a previous review that the pay machines are finicky, seemed to be easier to use a credit card. Streets are a little odd, too, need to pay attention to the one-way streets. I used Apple Maps and they missed a one-way street - switched to Google Maps when I left and it nailed it!

Their machine on clarence street double charged me and I have been trying to contact them to get my money back but no one is responding to me. They are simply crooks just use the regular street parking or garages cause these guys are shady

Expensive.....over priced. Spent just over 2 hours dropping off family due to a delay and was charged $24.00 for parking.

Lot at Slater and Lyon at 5:30 PM Dec 1. The pay station was NOT lite and the machine rejected my coins. I inserted my credit card and selected amount of time...it show the amount of the ticket, I pressed print...nothing..display showed please wait, I pressed the print ticket...it showe please wait...it went on like this for 10 minutes. The $14.00 was charged to my credit card, but it never printed...I had to move my car to another location!

FYI: if you noticed free spot on ground level but skip it to find better on second one and a bit later changed your mind, then there is no way to get back. Once you reached upper level, you have to leave parking and enter again to occupy noticed free spot on ground level.
Fortunately first 15 minutes parking is free.

UPDATE:
This parking lot has turned into a living nightmare for me. Far from feeling safe and secure as I always had in the past I now feel completely violated and there is absolutely nothing I can do to fix it.
A security guard took it upon himself to break into my van which is set up as an rv. He suspected that my propane tank, which I use for camping, was a bomb threat and called in the RCMP. The RCMP contacted me in the Arctic and I allayed their fears.
BUT:
I fear that they have interfered with my personal belongings and may have done damage in their zeal to catch a bomber. I contacted 3 different numbers for the RCMP and was unable to track down the officer who called me. I had hoped he could put my mind at ease.
Because of covid I am afraid to return to the south at this time. My Christmas with the children has been ruined and the whole situation makes me feel sick to my stomach all day every day. I feel trapped in Rod Serlings Twilight Zone.

The longterm parking lot has been reopened.
BTW:
When I returned after 4 months I could not find my car because it was covered in so much dust I couldn't recognize it and the battery was dead. A car wash solved the dust and Good To Know: they keep portable chargers in the office. Also there was no evidence of anything being stolen from my car.

Lots of parking lots in the area. I always go to this one. It’s conveniently located and the full price of $12 for the day isn’t too bad. You’re close to everything from the national art gallery to Majors Hill Park and of course the Byward Market itself 👍😎

You pull in the driveway, and get your ticket from the automated ticket machine. Then you turn into an underground parking garage. The spaces are very tight, and the ceilings are pretty low, (6.5ft maybe).

It has a bit of a creepy vibe to be honest. The stairwells to get to street level are kind of dingy. There are pylons randomly laying around.

Leaving was easy enough. I drove out of the garage, and there's another automatic ticket both. You insert your ticket, and you can pay with debit or credit. There was an attendant standing next to the ticket machine ready to assist if needed.

At the end of the day, it's not the nicest parking garage, but it's the cheapest parking in the area, and closest to the ROM.

Because of the restrictions still in place regarding shopping, dining, and attending live performances, there was easy access to the parking and plenty of spaces available.

Don't be deceived the parking sucks pack lots of patience because you will circle the mall a few times before you find parking.

Sometimes their machine doesn't work and also I wrote a note with my phone number that if anyone comes to give me ticket, he will see it and will call me. So that I can go and pay him money for the parking or he will show me how to pay by machine or will fix the machine, so that I can pay or other people can pay for the parking. Instead of doing that they just gave me $75 ticket without understanding their problem with the machine.

Great location, tiny parking spots, and quiet expensive ($16 for all day). Lots of parking spots are available at this location. Very convenient location, close to ROM and Yorkdale. You gotta be good at parking because the parking spots are tiny.

Super fast and convenient. Would've given it 5 stars if it wasn't expensive, but long term parking is expensive everywhere I guess. Book your parking online in advance and save a little $.

Beautiful parking structure

Run by indigo park, pretty much all that needs to be said. Vandalized cars, dirty garage. Gates are well maintained (because that’s where you pay)

The walking distance of everything I could get with two children was amazing. The price wasn't bad. And the day was done with a nice chilled drink nearby.

The kids loved the stairwells (as most kids often love the cadence and echo of course ) and the parking was super easy to get into and out of.

Can't wait to bring the wife to the captial.city and walk to Gatineau.

Excellent parking. It’s free weekdays after 7p and weekends. I use to work nearby, I parked at 10am and left after 7pm and it was free

This is technicly the 4th parkin garage for Rideau Centre. It's not own by CF, but it is in front of Hudson Bay that is connected to Rideau Centre by a bridge on the 3rd level.

Do not park here - very expensive at over 20$

New, so it is nice and clean, very open, elevators, heated ramps for the winter. Digital displays indicating how many parking spots there are available on each level. Most people still seem to be in the mindset of parking in the regular lot. Parking in here out of the sun in the summer is good, helps keep the car cool.

Very well located. A few minutes walk to the entrance of the airport. Also the price is very good especially when booked at least a week in advance. Also did not charge extra when my flight was delayed for 24 hours. Got a days free parking. Not sure if that is a regular thing but it was a thing for me. You can only save for long term parking. Not useful for a 1 hour to a day parking when it comes to cost.

If you can park on the street it is more recommended as it will be cheaper. But if there aren't any spaces. This works great. Always parking spots available and its covered if its raining or in the winter.

SUPER expensive. I was there this morning in around 9am, out at 11h30am, used it for 2hours 30 minute, drove out with a $22 fee. Street park, if you have time it is much cheaper. Never ever again at Market Garage!

Location is great for work and play. Prices are comparable if not slightly better. Never had an issue parking there for about 1 year.
