The parking space is so tight - I saw 3 accidents in total while cars are trying to back out and park. For your own safety, I would avoid this parking lot.
Safe place to park and easily accessible to Rideau Centre. Attendants are always around to help.

Not maintained, yet paid, and pretty expensive for its condition. I have no problem with paying parking fees, but not for a muddy bumpy and at times dirty one. I expect these funds go to maintenance though and once I see a proper parking like the other three that this park has, I keep this rating. Would have been a three stars if it was free. Not recommended.

Great location to park if you're visiting downtown Ottawa. A bit pricey during the week but great price for the weekend. Safe and clean.

Yeah… I never ever saw cheaper parking in my life! Place is very conveniently located and I spent like 4 or 5 hours in there and I paid $5 bucks. Insane!

Cheapest in the Byward and the parking machine is very efficient and easy to use
Best for weekends. It used to be free. Now, it is $2 for all day at the weekends. Perhaps they can add more signage to get into the parking. There was another parking door which was occasionally open. You might mistaken it.
Nice location for city parking.
It was easy to access and enter/exit within. We parked there all day and it was safe, secure, and easy.
I love Ottawa :3
They have a parking near bathurst and spadina which is not located in the maps that messed me up really bad when i was trying to remember where my vehicle eas also when you scan the code for phone parking id doesnt tell you the parking locations very very poor company

Overnight parking in the ByWard Market is attractively priced at $10, although it may pose challenges in terms of availability. Despite the occasional difficulty in securing a spot, the location proves advantageous for its proximity to downtown bars and clubs.
Clean, central and secure parking.
This is an excellent location for parking when visiting Parliament Hill.

Plenty of spots, but $$$ super expensive for a municipal parking lot. I get cheaper parking downtown Toronto.

50$ for a saturday that's mad!
Cheap and easily accessible parking in downtown Ottawa. Walking distance to many attractions! $2 on weekends and public holidays, and after 6:00pm weekdays. $18 weekdays from 6am-6pm. There are always parking spots available. An amazing feature besides having the digital signs with the number of parking spots available for regular and wheelchair accessible parking spots on each level is the lighting system above each parking spot! You don't have to drive around looking for a spot, just look down the parking lot aisles and if there is a green light, the spot is available. Blue for wheelchair accessible parking. Every public parking should be like that!

one of hardest parking I even been, I don’t understand why they has to put so many island in middle of road, they has absolutely no point!
This is a great heated underground parking with 2 entrances and exits on Laurier and Elgin. Within walking distance to most central businesses and commerce.
$2 after 6 pm and whole weekend is a great deal especially in winter. Heated under ground parking !!!!! ( still in effect in 2023)

Every time we go to downtown Ottawa, we always park our car in Lot 5 parking. $4 after 6:00 P.M. Enter via Clarence St and exit via Murray St. (which is a one way street, and drivers must turn right upon Exit).

There is also a gap between each parking stall so that the adjacent car's door will not easily touch your car.

After I revived a parking ticket this lot’s customer service scammed me out of more money. I’m never parking here again.

I brought my aged parents to see the place & enjoy the weather. I parked at the "drop off & pick up only" which that time around 845pm when we decided to call for the day. i assisted my aged parents who my dad used wheelchair & my mom could hardly walk, & i myself have problem.with my left foot. I helped my parents to ride at my car & trying to put the wheelchair at the trunk of the car, but this security car who doesn't have any considerations at our situation & send me a ticket worth $80. Kindly have some heart to elderly people with dissability.

For the area, it's dirt cheap, clean and we found it safe - left our car here for three days and it was only $38. Only a block or two from the ByWard Market, easy in and easy out. And, the urine smell wasn't bad - definitely not as bad as the ByWard Market Parking garage!

This review is for the P2 parking lot on the mainland side. I prepaid on-line yet was prompted to "add billing info" each time I scanned the barcode. Both in and out. What is the point of paying advance? On the way out, I sat buzzing forever to get someone to answer. I kinda feel bad as took it out on the guy who answered but really whoever acquired that technology s/b fired.

Had my vehicle broken into
Couldn't get use the elevator to get down to the parking lot, door to the stairs to get down was locked. We had to go all the way around and walk through the lot to get back to our car. At least it was clean and didn't smell lile pee and sometimes that's all you can ask for in a Vancouver parkaid

We parked here since it was close tour destination restaurant. The thing I am most disgusted is the urine smell in the stairway, it is unacceptable! It is nauseating! The area should be disinfected with bleach regularly.

Too expensive. Today is a holiday and suppose to have a weekend day rate. But this place still charges $2.75 for 20 minutes.
Had a great experience using this 24-hour (mainly because it was free during the entirety of my stay in Ottawa), completely automated parking garage - Some doors needed maintenance, but nothing too serious.

Visited the city from March 19 to 22, and it will be free until March 31. I don't know why this is the case. I'm speculating and thinking that may be because it is low season.

I have read about this place being "confusing," and well, the first time I used it kind of was, but after you start paying attention to the different levels (P1 and P2) and the exits that are more convenient to you, it will be really really easy to use.

I had no problem finding parking from Saturday from Monday, although, last time I tried to enter on Tuesday 22 at around 10 am, I had no luck because it was completely full!

Paid for 6 hrs longer time than actual time parked there and contacted the company which says no refund of the time over purchased, totally the opposite of the patrolling staff promised for refund of the difference which is very unfair. Very small parking spot on a busy day like new year eve will have giant trucks parked next to you and hard to find how you don't get scrached.

Well priced and convenient location. Found a rude note taped to the back of my vehicle, just glad I didn’t run into whoever was wandering the lot and creeping behind the cars doing this.

City of Richmond hill should be ashamed of itself for robbing people with parking fees, even during pandemic. $5 an hour parking by a man make lake is ridiculous. The equally greedy city of Ajax charge $20 for a whole day on lake front, but it's at least lake Ontario. If you don't want people from Toronto to go to your city, please also don't expect us to go to your restaurants and business

Why doesn’t a park in Richmond hill have a free parking? It is 5 dollars per hour to enjoy the nature there and take a walk around the lake... it used to be free but now you have to pay. Very disappointing to pay to enjoy nature in your own town. If it was cheaper to support the community it would be okay but 5 bucks for an hour is very expensive amount to spend every time you come here. Otherwise the lake and view is stunning! I live within 10 km of this lake but my address is not considered in Richmond hill... i’m not sure why that means I have to pay that much. People need parking to be free in the public parks or AT LEAST affordable.

Easy to drive there from garineau. Take Murray Street. Afterwards exit towards King Eddy and back to Gatineau.
Parking is clean and spaces available are on the sign before you enter. Great walking access to the byward market. Pay cash or credit at the machine before you leave.

Great price, easy access to downtown Ottawa and short walk to museums/park over in Gatineau. Even on Canada Day 150 there were spaces. Maybe i shouldn't tell people about this.

Good parking rates, right across from Science world and the False Creek Seawall
