This place has one of my favourite interiors out of all the Vancouver "speakeasies". The prices for the cocktails are reasonable for the yaletown area, BUT they are all fantastic. They do have some zero-proof options, but those aren't extensive. The food is alright! Nothing standout, and all the burgers are from Hundy. I would really recommend this place for anyone looking for a cool bar, or just a fun new date night bar!
This is such an elevated atmosphere with exceptional drinks. Unfortunately, the bartender's personality didn't quite fit. He was rude, deafeningly loud, & slammed shaker cups on the bar 2" from every guest's face during service. As someone with plenty of bartending experience, this is completely unnecessary. It destroys the bar & the overall experience.
Been there on Sunday night. Service was very fast. Food taste was great and prices were reasonable. Liked the decor and privacy walls. Drinks were also great. Our server Naveena ensureed we had everything on time.

Great meal with decent beer selection, I thought they brewed their own but they just serve local beers. Unfortunately no IPA's were on tap and of the beers that were available the server didn't know much about a couple of them we asked about.
Fun spot, was staying at Tru Hotel on my way to India and it was a great place to get the vibes started. Arshnoor, Jaey, Garima, and team were great help as it was my first time in a Hookah lounge, lots of space and great decor. Falafel was great!
Me and the wife are from out of town and had to check this place out first hand . All in all a great experience . Got a quick tour around by Veronica ( I believe ), told the rules and given a free drink card for each of us . We thoroughly enjoyed the different themed rooms , the outdoor heated pool in January is super awesome . Didn’t find too many pushy single males most are fairly respectful will likely be back again . Thanks for a great time !!! On a side note though the drinks are way too expensive and when I was waiting for my wife to get her towel on upstairs I had a staff member approach and ask “ are you up here with your partner “ . This same staff member, had just served us downstairs 5 minutes prior . Was kind of off putting for me a bit . I know they have rules and I like that they are enforced but also common sense should come in as well . So tips for newcomers , pre drink or you’re in for an expensive night and stand beside your partner all night . Won’t deter us from going back but just putting out the only two downsides to our night .
We paid 50$ for nye tickets. Our friends were kicked out after politely complaining about obviously being overcharged for drinks. Not only were they kicked out, cabana staffed treated them with zero respect or understanding. My friends are polite and understanding people, which makes this occurrence all the more enraging. We will never be going back and encourage anyone else to do the same.

It totally doesn't worth the money. They take decisions like if they were in elementary school. No good judgment, common sense or customer experience analysis. After the bartender served me 2 drinks with less than 1/6 of the glass and charged me over $40 dollars.
Her colleague at the bar tasted it and agreed with me that it was too soft and without Alcohol.
I called the manager and after he tasted it he offered me more alcohol, to which I disagreed because at that point I had less than 1/8 of the glass left.
When he saw that I was right, he asked the guard to expel me from the liquor supposedly for being drunk and forced me to drink the glass or trhow it.
They ended up turning it over in less than 30 seconds.
They wouldn't let me retrieved my belongings and when I called my partner to do so, the guards outside also ended up insulting her and denying her entry.

I'm glad I visited the Stock Room though. Everyone loves their cocktails. Poutine and bacon cheeseburger worked as a great compliment to the drinks.

Absolutely amazing, me and my gf visited here many times and always had a great time.
Staff was amazing especially the bar tender with the long moustache, (super professional and very respectful for the way he serves drinks) and the security guard always made us feel very safe and comfortable! 11/10 experience, pool was amazing too!

Such a good vibe with amazing selection. Go with your friends and you will have fun. Just make sure you bring cash! I’ve been multiple times but this one was most memorable. You can do minimum spend or hourly!
Chill vibe and quick service. Shisha is well priced and they have plenty of seats to sit at.
Great place to spend the evening with your friends and have hukka. There are variety of flavours available but Pan blend with mint kiwi was our choice and it was amazing.

Justine at this club is a standout bartender! Her courtesy and genuine smile made my night memorable. Polite, attentive, and dedicated to serving guests with a positive attitude. A true asset to Cabana, and I hope every guest get to experience her excellent service. Cheers to Justine!
What a great place! Incredible atmosphere - love the decor/layout - and EXCELLENT cocktails. And of course the food from Hundy never disappoints. Easily one of the best veggie burgers I've ever had.

Visited this place on the weekend. Overall, an okayish experience. Nothing special here. I noticed the food options are pretty limited. The drinks are expensive too. There was a Bollywood party downstairs, but attending that incurred extra charges.

Absolutely best best best best middle eastern food in Winnipeg. Have went three times and gotten the chicken shawarma platter with hummus and tzatziki. Inside isn’t very cozy but great service and makes for a delish takeout option.
We've been coming to this place for years—reasonable happy hour prices for enjoyable karaoke. It's clean and the service is consistently excellent—friendly and eager to assist. The drinks are good, although we haven't sampled their food. However, our disappointment stems from the limited variety of English songs, considering we're in Canada. It seems their primary customer base is Mandarin-speaking, with even Cantonese songs limited. The karaoke system is not user-friendly I believe they have recently updated the system and songs making it challenging to find songs. Also inside the karaoke is clean, but once you step outside the entrance, the common area is disgusting. The washroom, elevator, and floor give the impression they haven't been cleaned for years. It seems like the building management is doing a poor job. Take One should take action to urge the building management to address this issue, as it could negatively impact their business.

A couple of my friends and I got a booth for a birthday party. It went great. service was super helpful and kind. The music was great throughout the night. A lot of other clubs music only starts to get “fun” by like 12am but this place has good music throughout the entire night. I definitely would recommend it for anyone that wants bottle service or just a great night out!
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.The worst experience ever in this bar. They don't understand the concept of customer service and how to communicate with them. We were mistreated so badly by the Bouncers who were on duty on November 25th Bollywood party night. In my whole life I have never came across with such a behavior from the staff.

Food service and atmosphere were all fantastic. Wonderful waitstaff, super comfortable... but with long pauses between telling us things are out of stock and even longer pauses between bringing out food in parts, the experience was inconsistent across the table.
If you have a handful of people or more, be ready to watch your friends finish their food while you wait for yours.

Really great spot for brunch on weekends. We tried a few different dishes and everything was delicious. There is also a nice heated patio outside. Definitely recommend the pork belly bites!
I’m so disgusted by the treatment of the girl bartender (black short hair and tattoos) on Thursday night, we just asked for a silver tequila and she said “We only have premium tequila I’m sorry if that’s not on your budget “ with the worst possible attitude, we just asked for a silver tequila premium or not. The hundy burger was really good but had too much sauce on it, made it soggy. The fried chicken sandwich coleslaw wasn’t my favourite but the chicken was excellent. Really enjoyed all the drinks however, the service was a little slower than we liked. They were very nice but, maybe just a little understaffed.
Amazing food and great value. Look at the size of plater and all that for less the $20. You can't even get anything under that price at a fast food chain these days and it's way fresher and actual food not processed garbage.. Was blown away.
My friends wanted to go KTV. I looked up multiple places in Richmond Hill and Markham and decided in Take One due to rates. They charge $15 cash per person from 9-3am. The other all had $200+ minimum spends for small parties, so that put us off. The place was clean, the front desk lady was efficient and got us a room immediately. I had some technical issues with the machine and they switched us to another room without a fuss. The song selection for non Chinese music is limited and difficult to navigate. Western artists are listed under "other" however you'll often see Chinese artists mixed in there too. It was a good night and everything I expected it to be.

Ramallah Cafe has been a longtime favorite of mine, and I've been a regular customer for years. Throughout the challenges of COVID, I was relieved to see them survive because their food is truly unbeatable. They have the platters and shawarma.
Garima was really amazing and helped us with best customer service!! Would recommend her ! She deserves promotion. Lounge is amazing with good vibes!
Amazing!! Thank you for having us at your Halloween event. Half of my group got denied entry to Club Lux so we went here. Extremely nice staff, clean washrooms and friendly atmosphere. Cheap drinks too! Stayed under budget the entire night it was nice to be able to afford to tip well.
The worst experience ever. We were a group of 12 and we all purchased tickets online for the Halloween night. Once we reached the location we noticed that the bouncers were not even checking our tickets. They only let half of us in and said that the other half had blurred images on their IDs. After that the bouncers proceeded to ask for 20$ per person on top of the tickets that we had already paid for. It’s a shame! The management was useless and did not bother to help at all. Do not recommend this place. The bouncers should seriously face some serious repercussions for how disrespectful they are and for the amount of money they pocket.
I live next to this place and it’s impossible to sleep. They are so disrespectful blasting music on the patio until 2am SO LOUD. There is a bunch of other clubs around yet they are the only one we can hear. We are on a pretty high floor of our condo building and yet it sounds like we are in the club 😭. This needs to stop.
I was just here on a first time visit. I was with my lady for my birthday this past weekend. We had a blast. It was very comfortable and we played in many different areas of the building. I would definitely recommend and will likely be back soon.
DO NOT GO HERE! Had my phone stolen from my purse within 6 minutes of entering the club, several other girls phones and wallets were stolen within the next 20 minutes. Security would not allow us to view security footage and brushed off the situation saying that it “happens at the club all the time”. Security refused to search a man with a large backpack and 3 phones in his back pocket exiting the club. After talking with other people at the club they said that they had multiple friends also have their phones stolen at 5th Social just the week before as it is a common occurrence there and security has not done anything to stop the situation. Do not take the risk, there are many other better clubs that are much safer. It is NOT worth it.
I had a fun time loved the free lolipops, and enjoyed the music with my friends. It’s very basic pop music and some rap, but when you’re drunk it’s great. I did get my phone stolen, ID, and all my other things I brought but it happens in Toronto at any club 😭.. so just make sure to have a good bag, or hold on your things

The place is so nice and the atmosphere is relaxing and the light is low all the time, the food is good but most importantly the cocktails are good.
My visits to the Oasis Aqualounge throughout the summer were filled with sweet drinks, relaxation, and fun. The staff are friendly, enthusiastic, and courteous to guests. I will never get tired of their hot tub and dry sauna. Congratulations on acquiring another patron to the club, I'm going to keep coming back here!
Amazing Shawarma, fresh and tasty salads, toum is really good, hummus is great and the Shrak bread is good too. Photos are a mix shawarma platter, no rice, extra Greek salad with a serving of Shrak and a Turkish coffee
This place has been playing extremely loud music open air past midnight almost on a daily basis. They have a patio hidden away in a back alley and we couldn’t pinpoint the location the music was coming from for the longest time. It’s now 1AM on a Thursday night I went out and was finally able to trace it to here. There are a lot of clubs in the area and none of them emits this much noise pollution, affecting all the residential buildings in the area. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS, THEY NEED TO BE FINED.
My recent visit to Cabana club left me with a sense of bewilderment due to their policy of automatically adding a 20% tip to your orders without seeking your consent.

Parth is undoubtedly one of the most caring individuals I've encountered in the Toronto nightlife industry. Not only did he generously offer his assistance in setting up for our private event on his day off, but he also dedicated his time to oversee the entire event as it started, ensuring that everything ran seamlessly. Furthermore, considering this was our first private event, Parth provided invaluable insights and guidance on its execution. Truly, a remarkable individual.

I have visited this place twice and had a great time. The place is huge with plenty of seating. The customer service is always friendly, quick and attentive. Every food item we have tried there tasted amazing. I would prefer this place any day for food and beverages over any other restaurant with similar menu.

It is not an upscale place, good for rogue parties. Went to this bar after party as this was open till wee hours. Drinks are expensive and no cocktail options in the basement section. Bar Staff was cordial and so was the staff, especially the bouncers. Uber and taxi is pretty quick from here. Good vibe if you are with friends or a date to let your hair down.
Definitely one of my favorite places! The burgers are super tasty and the vibe of the bar is unmatched - it really reminds me of my favorite bar in Greece and I’ve been looking for a similar place since I moved to Vancouver. 🤩
This place has fantastic food. Personally this is the first middle Eastern restaurant I have gone to in winnipeg. The food quality was the best I've had in a very long time. Everything was well cooked and seasoned perfectly. The staff here were very encouraging and helpful as some of the dishes I had trouble pronouncing. The portions were well worth the cost too. I got a kafta platter dish for 16$ and was so full I had to take about 1/4 home with me. I will definitely be going here again.

We went there on a weekday night and ordered Mezeh appetizer and two of their wrap combo. The restaurant always reminds me of the old cafe' in the Middle East and finally, I went there. The Mezeh which is a combination of 4 of their popular appetizer where recommended and it was good. However, the wraps (beef Shoverma and Donaire) were not the best.

Would have been 5 stars except for a disappointing experience with the wings and the bill. My order was to go but the server was great and very friendly. I took her suggestion and tried the burger which was great.
The wings were good but only got 7 not 8 as promised and nothing else came with them and they charged an extra $1 for the hot sauce on the wings even though menu says they come with sauce.

Great first time clubbing experience here. All the staff were very nice, bouncer was kind the bartenders were very nice and listened to our requests. Even gave some waterbottles for free without us asking later in the night.
They seem to not be that strict with their dress code. I saw a lot of sneakers at least I know for next time.

A chill and relaxing place. Has a nice vibe and great service. Great people that will give you the best options on hookah’s and of-course you must try their desi chai as it’s a must have with whatever you are getting.
Where do I begin, it’s all fabulous at this place. The staff are very helpful and clean all areas perfectly. They care, and are super fun. This environment truly is sex positive. Being a single lady new to the club visiting from out of town I was as comfortable as if I’d been always going there. Elegantly decorated, all amenities necessary were easily accessible, questions were readily answered. Open Mic was awesome thanks to the all inclusive welcoming vibes. I'm definitely a repeat customer, I've been coming to Take One for a few years now, the cost is more than affordable and the customer service is amazing as well. From 1pm-9pm it's $12/pp + you get 2 beverages (obviously non-alcholic) which is very helpful if you sing a lot like myself and my friends. From 9pm-3am it's $15/pp and you have to bring ID. The party room is very spacious and there are a few screens, +3 mics, +dart board (bring coins). I had my birthday party there with about 18-20 people it can definitely fit a bit more as well. Everyone had a good time. There was another time I've gone from 1pm-2am. Jen is my favourite person there, she's always welcoming and radiant. They have many song options and they always try to keep up to date, usually if there isn't a song there, you can just go on YouTube. Their system is very user friendly, and if you need help they are really good at helping you right away and explaining how the system works. I suggest making reservations, it can be the day of, as they can get pretty busy. I highly recommend Take One, it's one of my most favourite places to go, and no one beats their cost.

Went there on a Saturday afternoon while travelling on the 30 heading home to Ottawa a few weeks ago. All we wanted to do was to purchase a few cigars to take home but the place and the people were so welcoming that we decided to stay for a cigar and a drink. The Gentleman who greeted us at the door was very knowledgeable and was a pleasure to speak with. He asked what our preferences were and made some very good recommendations based on that. He suggested we tried their House Blend which we did and we were very impressed at the quality of them for such a great price, all under $15 per stick. Lauryn was our server at the bar and she was very much fun to talk with as well she was very attentive. The Gentleman who helped us select our cigars even came back to see us to ensure we were comfortable and if we needed anything which was also very amazing.
Overall I highly recommend, Great place to purchase good quality cigars, reasonably priced and with a great atmosphere and staff. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to the South Shore.

Great beer selection. Great location. Cool beer garden. However. Service is inept. We waited over 25 minutes for 2 beers. Server brought both of us the wrong beers, probably forgot since it was over 25 minutes. Apologized and brought my wife the right one, but said he thought mine might have been what I ordered? Taproom only had 9 tables, so not busy. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I really enjoy their food! I wish they had more cocktail drink options or cider on tap for people who don't like beer. Their Moscow mules are good.
We had beers in the beer garden with the guys for a bachelor party last week and it was awesome! Ryan, the server, did a great job keeping the jugs going. Some of the guys had fries and other apps which looked great. The huge selection of beers on tap and having a spot to sit outside made it a really awesome time. I can't wait to sit outside there this summer. Highly recommend!
DO NOT recommended this establishment!!! Visiting from Vancouver , we came across this bar that had a sign listing “free cover entrance all night”. However, cover fees were charged and pocketed by the bouncers. No duty of care was provided to the customer from all levels of staff. In addition, after requesting to speak to the Manager, no explanation was given and to make matters worse , we were walked out on by her.

I tried their original burger, I'll be honest I was expecting something tasty because I'd read the reviews before, but I was suprised by how tasteless it was. It wasn't bad at all, but there wasn't a lot of flavor. I don't think I'll eat there again but I'd like to try more of their beers. There was a beer I wanted but they didn't have it. I was not that impressed either by their draft beer selection/variety. I'll give it another try one day, hopefully on their terasse but it's not a priority.
Bought two types of cigars. Both were so dry that they were un-smokable.

Went for a quick purchase. Knowledgeable staff, great selection and professional. The cigars are kept in a controlled environment and well priced. Definitely my go to from now on.
The best cigars you'll find on the South Shore. Conveniently located next to Playground Poker, you're able to smoke and have a drink, while watching sports on TV, or chatting with friends. Food is possible by ordering from The Rail next door, to have it delivered.
The new renovations are fantastic. The V.I.P lounge is dope. I had Aeon shisha in the V.I.P area they also let you select your own music. Shisha quality was amazing.
Very fun first clubbing experience!! The atmosphere is amazing and the music is great as well. Yet my friends’ jackets got stolen, so remember to keep alert on the personal belongings or place them in coat check. Have fun!!
01/20/2023 We went to Ramallah about 3PM. We ordered 4 wraps one vegetarian, garlic sauce plate,extra bread, Strawberry banana smoothie and a canned ginger ale. Ordering was easy and all the prices were good. All four of us thought that the time to to prepare the food was slow. The appetizer came out at the same time as our wraps. The smoothie was not cold and the banana over powered the smoothie taste. All four wraps were very good and the portion size was large. As for flavour it was very good. The appetizer was oh my gosh exceptional! We were happy we ordered the extra bread.
All in all a good experience. Our time in the restaurant was just over an hour. We did have some wraps left over which was nice because we love leftovers.
The highlight was our garlic appetizer with extra bread.

Went to Take One for our holiday gathering, and had a great time there. Staff are dope and prices are very reasonable. We can pick songs from the karaoke machine's song list or YouTube, and if you have WeChat you can use your phone to pick songs. The system is quite easy to use.
They have a pay-as-you-go system where we would be ordering at the front desk and paid. This worked out well for our group as we were paying for our own drinks and no one had to do the math at the end of the night.
One thing this place is missing is a service button in the room, we had to walk out of the room and ask questions at the front desk or at the bar. Not a deal breaker but definitely room for improvement.

Nice atmosphere. Artists bring the crowd. However low A/C and ine bartender thought they were slick and didn't give me my change. Common ethics to always return that. This is the real reason why I made this review. Sorry lady, you shouldn't have thought I was intoxicated.
Their VIP lounge is amazing with very unique flavors. Great ambiance and great customer service from the team. Def will come back more often.
Love to try different cuisine especially Middle Eastern. I'm a big fan of their fries so crunchy and delicious, love it! Falafel also was good and full of flavor. On top of that their generous shawarma plate with rice, veggies, hummus, and garlic sauce was delicious too.

Nice looking club and good music. But the vibe was way off. Me and my friends tried to sit down to have a drink and to chat but got kicked off the sitting area because we didn't do bottle service. So we moved politely. Then got kicked away from another seating area again. When I told the lady that I didn't know this, this wasn't informed she just responded with "Well that's just how we do things here so you need to get up. " This wasn't very comforting since we payed 30 dollars entree per person and about 100 dollars on one round of drinks, we just wanted to relax and enjoy for a bit.

Awesome lounge with great vibe and friendly staff. The food was good and Shisha as well. The place was not very busy when we went there and service was very fast as compared to some other places in the city. Ordered the Habibi Mix and it was very good. Competitive prices both for food and the shisha.
Was really impressed by this place! Stopped in for a drink and snack before our reservation and was blown away! The beers on top are varied and unique. Ordering from the bar made our stay easy, and at our own pace. The Chips and Dip, while on the higher end of the price point, we're fantastic and definitely worth the money. I would recommend this spot to anyone, will be back for sure!

Good was good but the service was average at best. My colleague is celiac and asked the waitress a few questions. The waitress responded very vaguely to every question and we didn’t feel confident with her answers. And on top of that, she kept on mentioning “ok we know about your severe dietary restriction” and it was pretty rude... she mentioned that maybe 4 times and it got sort of awkward.

Came here for summerlicious 2019. The experience with the elevator was certainly a fun and novel way to set the tone for dinner. I was immediately captivated by the decor, and we were seated in the nest. When the sun went away temporarily while I was trying to capture a photo, the server was gracious enough to light our photo with his phone and the staff by the bar took note and turned up some of the surrounding lights for that moment. Talk about attentiveness!
The food was a feast for the eyes and absolutely delicious! It was filling and had precise and attractive plating, enhanced by all the colours. It was obvious that the chefs and staff took pride in their work. I would come back to give the regular menu a taste.

We had a wonderful experience here. My boyfriend and i celebrated our anniversary and made a reservation for summerlicious. We were greeted and escorted from entry all the way to our table. Our server, ROB, was amazing who not only recommended good wine and food but always made sure that we were being looked after. The food was of course thoughtfully crafted and exceptional! We even had a mini surprise of a happy anniversary chocolate made by the staff which made our evening even more special. Overall, the experience was unlike any other restaurants and we are definitely coming back here!
I went to this place only once. The interior design is very good and stunning. They have two big hall and patio as well. Their music is not the best and it wasn’t my taste and I was wondering with playing good songs this place can be amazing for Friday/Saturday night. We got bottle service and it was pretty pricy. I think this place is good for having parties and they do that too, because when we were there it was a group of people getting ready for birthday party.
Feels like Home. Ali always gives everyone a nice welcome. Good, fresh and reasonable price food (Chicken Wings, Fries, Samosas, Mozzarella Sticks ect.) Good Chichas flavors, Good music. Different night themes. No alcohol but good non-alcoholic flavored beer: Barbican (Mango, Strawberry, Apple, Pomegranate, ect). Milkshakes, dessert card and tea. It's not a big place but normal size. Cozy, Friendly and drama free. You can also ask for a pack of cards (if they have any left) and play a card games with your people. Really nice and fun concept. Definitely encourage everyone to go at least once and see for yourself 😃👍
