We went to Marked restaurant in a group of 6 for dinner and decided to go with the chef’s selection. What it means was that we tried everything in the menu. We liked many things but not all. The highlight was the corn, ceviche, and bacon wrapped date as appetizers, pineapple shrimp and octopus tostadas as medium course, and whole fish as the main. Ribeye steak was ok but not a wow. About the drinks, we unfortunately selected the popular 5 elements, the 16oz group cocktail, but there were a lot of complications with this drink. Once the device in which they served it was not working properly, then there was a seed stuck in the entrance of the device, then the fruit was stuck there, …. Long story short, we could not experience the whole change of taste thing that they were talking about. They gave us 0.5 shot per person instead. When we received the bill drink was included which was $140 before tax and tip for the drink only and we asked them to talk to the manager and adjust the price, as we couldn’t enjoy the experience. We would have been better off if we would’ve each ordered a cocktail. Cheaper and more alcohol and the right experience. I expected them to offer us the reduction instead of us asking for that but they reduced the price to half after we asked, which was a nice gesture. Note that they add 20% to the bill as we were 6 people and they give 1 bill which can be split between max 4. Overall it was a nice experience and we may go back to try the popular brunch but this time I will adjust my expectations.
I enjoyed an expertly made and delicious bevy called “the flamer”. I love cocktail rooms and enjoy the experience of trying a new spot. Going on a weekday night for one drink was so nice and only one other group was there.
Persian Palace is a top-notch business! Their service is amazing, and their prices are very fair. I appreciate their honesty and expertise, and I'll use them again for future needs!

My friend recommended this place and I'm so glad that she did. My partner and I were here last Saturday and we agreed that it was fabulous. The exterior is rather misleading as it looks like an office but then you open the door and you're inside the bar. I was worried that they wouldn't have a table for us but thankfully they did. It is a small bar so ideal for a date or an intimate conversation with friends. It wasn't too loud and the interior deco was beautiful. We each ordered a wine but they have several cocktail options. I understand that they don't take reservations but it would be great if they did. That said, I do recommend this place.
Excellent food, nice servers, beautiful rooms. There were dancers as well as a live dj. We went for the bottomless brunch and bubbly - there is a 2 hour limit but it’s plenty of time to enjoy.
Gluten free - their menu is clearly marked for GF and the waiter started off taking note of food allergies and talked about the safety and knowledge of cross contamination. I felt very safe with their info

We recently had the privilege of holding a memorial dinner at the Persian Palace and were truly impressed. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, and the food was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every guest had a memorable experience. The food was great and presentable. I am incredibly grateful to Persian Palace for their outstanding service and for creating a memorable evening to honour my father-in-law. I highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion or event.
This restaurant is definitely on the pricier side, but it's worth every penny. The quality of the food is outstanding, with each dish expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The ambiance is elegant, and the service is impeccable. If you're looking to treat yourself to a special occasion, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Stumbled upon this place by accident and we were so impressed we went back. The food is great and really good value for both quality & quantity. Can highly recommend the cassava fries, jalapeño corn bread & Latin mess. The cocktails and mocktails are brilliant, the beer selection is not bad either.
They have salsa sessions every weekend as well. The decor is pretty cool and the seating comfortable. Definitely going back here again

Wonderful Dome experience. Beautiful scenery, decor is not bad. Would not recommend on any sunny day above 18 as it heats up really fast inside. Even with a/c on at full blast, when the sun is on you it gets crazy hot.

Great place with an amazing atmosphere. Great place to see local musicians and have a pint or two.
I hosted my birthday dinner at Marked restaurant and we had a fun time, the cocktails were really great and at 11pm we had a free salsa dance class. I now know how to dance salsa😂. It was an Amazing experience.

Key Party was an absolute delight! The warm, dim lighting along with the classical style artwork and heavy drapes create such a cozy and posh ambience. The drinks were presented well and you could tell they put a lot of effort and care into each cocktail. The staff were very hospitable and friendly, giving us a knowledgeable recommendation from their list of drinks.
The drinks can seem a bit pricey, but I believe they're all totally worth the price you pay. 10/10 would visit again!

A fun experience lunching at The Secret Garden Dome. Service was superb and very much appreciated for my daughter’s bday. Some food plates were underwhelming and some were not. Really loved my Laka o Lono drink.
Dome was retaining heat as the sun perched up on it. The A/C unit inside was no match which made us a little uncomfortable. Not the restaurants fault but just an FYI for future patrons. We still really enjoyed the experience regardless.

Escape Manor is easily a top tier escape room experience!!! We have been impressed with the Hamilton location prior, and Toronto is just as awesome!!! Does not disappoint . . . I suggest all rooms available, but Cabin 13 has a particular fun creep factor that the others do not possess. Zander - the supervisor and actor of said room during our visit, fabulously managed the settings yet kept in character the entire time!
Don’t miss out! Food is absolutely amazing too! We shared the nachos, I had the beef sandwich, my friends the club, chicken and brie, and the macaroni - all awesome! Drinks unique and wonderfully thematic to the experiences!!! Luke, our server, was darn cool, efficient, and simply awesome!!!

Nova was extremely amazing. Kept the energies high and guided us with the game really well. Keep it up! Love the place but could be priced a bit better since we buy food and drinks anyways so 160$ is a bit too expensive for 4 people for just an hour. Our drinks bill was probably more than 150$ on top so 160$ for an hour was a bit too much
It was a fairy tale dining experience in the harborfront dome. The food was beautifully presented and tasted good. I came here to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant provided some drinks as a birthday treat.

The escape room itself was challenging but definitely not one of the hardest we've done by far, really great puzzles and theme though!
We also did axe throwing after. HAYLEY IS A SUPERSTAR AND ONE OF MY NEW BEST FRIENDS. If we were local we would join the league just to hang out with her. She made our experience so exciting. The space is great and the variety of axes and games she took us through were fantastic. I brought my boyfriend here for a pre birthday dinner adventure and it was hands down an amazing experience.

Unapologetic about their awesomeness - that's the claim that Haze Lounge makes. Eager to try out this awesomeness, I decided to sample the menu at their Mississauga location. Family-friendly, with an array of food and beverage options, this was one of the better brunches I had in a while!

The two main courses made the meal even better though! A twist on the classic benedict, the Nashville Hot Chicken Benedict was topped with a creamy and smoky sauce, creating a bold and flavorful profile, made only better with the fluffy tater tots. Meanwhile, the avocado toast offered a delightful combination of rich, buttery avocado and crunchy, earthy toast that was simple yet satisfying, especially with the side of fries. Washed down with the sweet caramel frappe and the refreshing pina colada, the meal was utterly wholesome and delicious!
Should you find yourself in either Richmond Hill or Mississauga craving a halal meal or just some shisha, Haze Lounge may be your go-to. With an aesthetically pleasing vibe and enough halal and vegetarian options on their menu, it goes without saying that this place is highly recommended!

One of the few cocktail bars worth going to in Vancouver. Each drink delivers on balance and quality.
Absolutely love this lounge. Come here at least once a month for date night. The music is always a vibe!! The environment is so welcoming and positive, all the workers are so polite and I love to converse with them. The manager always goes above and beyond. This place is the definition of how customer service should be!! Service is always quick and efficient. Never had any complaints about my food, delicious, fresh and the portions are great. (Rasta pasta with chicken- I highly recommend) Definitely with your time coming here :)
My last visit here was a solid 8.7/10. I don’t remember my servers name but he was a white guy. First server in a long time who actually went over the menu briefly and was attentive. This was a weekend too
Beautiful ambiance and good drinks. The ceviche was particularly enjoyable, and the prices were reasonable. However, the absence of valet or indoor parking could be an inconvenience. One unique feature is their postcard concept, where they provide a postcard for you to write a message and an address, and they send it for you. I tried it by sending a postcard to myself, but unfortunately, it never arrived, which was disappointing.
Decent spot for shisha near square one. We come here during lunch and sometimes in the evenings as well, the service can really lag. The shisha’s are decent and they have set flavours. Their service can be pretty inattentive. I was here recently and it took them over 30 minutes to bring out the shisha when the place was empty with just 2 tables occupied.
Their pints on tap are fresh, pool and other games are cheap. quick eats.

We loved our experience at Cabin 13! We wished we would have discovered Escape Manor way earlier, as it could be an amazing go-to place with friends during the cold nights of winter. Escape Manor offers board games, axe throwing, escape rooms, and a seating area with a fantastic drink and beverages menu that covers a variety of tastes and preferences. Also, the ambience was cozy with a mysterious vibe, and the staff made our experience even much more fun with their friendly jokes, artistry, and helpfulness. We will definitely be back!
I just went to the Moxies restaurant for dessert and had their Sticky Toffee Pudding, which was delicious. Mya, my waitress, was really kind and quick in bringing me a to-go box when I asked for one. The pudding tasted great, and Mya's outstanding service made the visit much more enjoyable. Would unquestionably suggest this location.
Okay cocktails and space! But after waiting 45 minutes for a seat, I was surprised that we weren't warned we would be sitting at the bar, which is very busy since it is a cocktail bar. This location makes for a great date spot, but when sat at the bar there are many distractions (noise and cramped space between yourself and the bartenders making drinks) that take away from the experience. When you go into a space like this you also expect a higher level of service than a standard bar and I found while staff were competent, there seemed to be an overall general lack of caring

I’ve been to the h tasting lounge a few times and decided I would hold my niece’s bridal shower there, as the service was always impeccable (thanks to all the staff and notably Jennifer), and booking / organizing the event was made very easy by Jonathan Hunwick. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the event was last weekend! The food was amazing, the service, as always, perfection, the menu choice for our group of almost 20 was put together thoughtfully by chef, and they even managed to get the Ferris wheel and cotton candy for dessert for our guests! I can not recommend this space enough for anyone thinking of doing a smallish gathering! The east wall of tables has a lovely separation for a more private feel, and you still have the wonderful harbour views! I would recommend working with this restaurant and these wonderful people at any time and point!
It was my first time visiting this lounge. Their customer service was exceptional. Staff members greeted in a professional manner and communicated well. Their Chicken Shawarma Platter and Vegetarian Poutine was delicious. The food tasted very fresh and I definitely recommend their Poutine as it has Vegan gravy.

Even though it was late and they were very packed for a Friday night. They seated us within 20 minutes (we were told it could be a 30 minute wait).
Their calamari is my favourite. Their truffle fries are decent too, but a modest portion. The spinach artichoke dip was a sizable amount and their fried pita stayed crispy the whole time. It was delicious.
The atmosphere of this place is very dark at night time. But it keeps a nice vibe. Feels somewhat intimate.

Enjoyed our time here as we needed a place that could accommodate 10 people for a reunion of friends. We had a fantastic time and with the variety of preferences and palates we all left happy and hung out on the sidewalk for another hour catching up. Service was great.

I’ve been to quite a number of fancy restaurants in Vancouver, and have honestly been disappointed more often than not, but this place is a total exception. The food was absolutely divine, we enjoyed every single bite of our entire meal. The burrata was fresh and the pesto sauce goes so well with it. The mushroom and tofu dumplings had the best chewy bouncy dumpling wrapper texture and the gingery sauce is to die for (wanted to lick the plate). Don’t even get me started on the mains. The chicken duo looked so simple, but had such a robust flavour profile, every bite was full of flavour. And the ninja seafood pasta was insanely good too, I have never quite tasted decedent flavours like this in a pasta dish before (I was again wanting to lick the plate at this point). Dessert affogato was also delightful. All the food aside, our server Mel was also an absolute gem. He was so sweet and funny, made our whole dining experience so unforgettable!
Visiting from Toronto and this place didn’t disappoint. It was a small and intimate spot with amazing drinks. Server was phenomenal and the drinks were amazing . Loved the whole vibe of the place. We got the spicy potatoes to snack on and it didn’t disappoint either. Definitely would recommend for an intimate date night out for drinks.

Seafood tower ($130) is a disaster with 1/5 rating - we ordered the 4 people portion and they have oysters, mussels, clams, prawns and crab. At the bottom tier it has (canned) tuna dip which is very very salty. Cannot understand why a seafood tower has potato chips, Japanese seaweed. Really weird combination. One of the steak is slightly overcooked. Sablefish is normal. The seafood pasta is overly spicy. The chocolate dessert dome is very thick and hard to break and the chocolate mousse inside is on the sweet side. Overall the food quality does not justify the price. Given the minimum charge requirement, it is one of those places that visiting once is likely more than enough.

We choose Persian palace for our wedding, and I’m so beyond happy about everything they offered us. Mr Behrang was an absolute help, and his understanding management and communication was everything we needed. The food , their timing, and staff was incredible.

My group and I definitely had a fun time doing the Wine Cellar escape room. Our host played the part very well and we enjoyed the challenging puzzles. We managed to make it out in time and the story was very interesting. The only thing is that the room is a little dark and they don’t provide you with flashlights so be prepared to use your phone’s flashlights. I went back with another group to try the “Death Row” room and it was so much fun. The puzzles weren’t too bad and the actors/actresses really made the experience worthwhile.
Amazing time at Escape Manor! Went for the axe throwing, and it was a great time, especially for a group. The location was pretty accessible, close to the streetcar within walking distance. Love how there's a good variety of activity options here. I would definitely come back again to try out their escape rooms!
Sat at the bar and loved every minute of this place. Drinks were different but really tasty. I had the The Flamer, Lovelace, French Tickler. All delicious. I didn’t eat so can’t comment on the food.
Had a great experience at Marked. It was a rough night prior to arriving, and the staff gave us a complimentary shot of tequila to change the mood right at the beginning. The service is an 11/10, which would be the main reason I would return here.
The food is also good as well, a bit overpriced but that’s Toronto for you. Definitely recommend getting the Corn Ribs, Shishito Peppers, Grilled Wings and the Fried Chicken. The cornbread was also good, but the sour cream ruined it. I would recommend removing that when ordering. Atmosphere and mood were great. Very trendy spot with a live DJ playing great music.

The food is also good as well, a bit overpriced but that’s Toronto for you. Definitely recommend getting the Corn Ribs, Shishito Peppers, Grilled Wings and the Fried Chicken. The cornbread was also good, but the sour cream ruined it. I would recommend removing that when ordering. Atmosphere and mood were great. Very trendy spot with a live DJ playing great music.

A beautiful speakeasy with a fun concept. The drinks are so good and creative. I ordered The Lovelace; it is sweet and sparkly, not that strong, perfectly fitting my preference for sweetness. My friend ordered The Virgin's Prayer. It's my second time here, and the staff is always remarkable—they are so nice. I will recommend this place to all my friends and will continue to visit!

I have booked one month in advance for 4 people for New Year Eve. They charged me all the money in cash and when we came there.
They said you have to sit at a table shared with 8-10 more people.
That is because they were overbooked and they sticked together.

Service was amazing 👏 and super awesome. They forgot the chicken on the jerk chicken pasta and it was very very 🧂 salty. Which they promptly replaced and didn't charge for but the second round was salty too. But the service is amazing atmosphere and the shisha was very flavorful. Loved the vibe will return again.

Came to see Barney Bentall. His performance was great. Crowd was really interactive and fun. Sound was good. Sound guy adapted to Barney's on the fly addition of a fiddler to the stage. Great night.
Had a very nice experience on my birthday. I, my husband along with my toddler was welcomed by them as soon we reach there. Service was really very very good. We took margarita with coronita upside down, chicken burger and white chocolate brownie. All of them was superb. Will definitely visit again.

everytime i come here they’re always closed and not ready to open. what’s the point of having a place and not opening on time ever? i’ve come here 4 times in total wanting to try the place out this place and each time they’re not open on time. and when you call they say 5 minutes but open 20 minutes later. so today i tried coming in at 6:30 instead of 6 even tho it’s the opening time and they’re still not open. management really needs to reconsider the dude that opens this place and find someone hopefully a bit more reliable
Contrary to other negative reviews, I think the food is actually pretty good here. Not to mention, the portion sizes here are fair, and the prices are cheap, even outside of York University. I recommend giving this place a try. The environment is lively and worth a visit for any student attending YorkU.

The food is so bad and expensive! Especially considering it’s in a university where students are already spending so much money, the least they can do is make an affordable menu for students. The portions were so small and expensive it’s ridiculous. The vibe of the place is nice to chill out but something should seriously be done about the prices or portions of food served.

We could not resist ordering the special Mussels (1lbs) with sundried tomatoes and pesto, accompanied by sourdough toast. The combination of flavors was simply astounding, with the sun-dried tomatoes and the pesto. The mussels were delicious and almost wanted to order more. The addition of the sourdough toast provided a delightful contrast in textures.
We also decided to try their signature Ship Burger, which we opted to have with a substitute of Cod Chowder Soup instead of fries for an additional $4. The burger was bursting with flavor, with the bacon infusion and spice blend. As for the Cod Chowder Soup, it was light and packed with generous portions of cod, although some may prefer a touch more salt and pepper. Also, we ordered the Quidi Vidi Iceberg beer, which was light and refreshing.

Total dive bar but has good beer on tap and great conversation with the bartenders. Kitchen was closed when we were there so did not try the food.
I have been coming to Karnak for a couple of years now and they’re constantly upgrading. I recently got the coconut coal and ice pipe and it made the flavour so much smoother. Definitely check out their patio too!
karnak cafe is by far my favourite place to shisha, it’s got the best calm vibes for you to do work on your laptop or if you wanna watch the game or listen to music and unwind! very chill vibes and i’ve been to a few other shisha spots this one’s def my favourite. aron and anthony have the best customer service and they’re very professional.
Quick and friendly service! They gave us a pretty cute seat in the corner over looking outside the window !! I love their lettuce chicken wrap starters… really yumm !!! Their entrees never disappoint!! A shout out to the night manager there, very friendly and suggested a great wine !!
This visit was for a girl's night out. We loved everything except for the chipotle mango chicken. It was spicy but had no other seasoning. A little salt would have helped. The sticky toffee pudding was the best one I ever had. The wings and sweet potato fries were very good. Our server was great.
Although the place looked nice, the food was so mid. I ate the roasted mushroom tacos and it was absolute garbage. It was blue and it tasted disgusting. If you’re vegetarian I would strongly recommend you get something else. Has to be the WORST thing I’ve tasted in a long time. Not sure why it’s even being offered on the menu. Even the tacos my friend got (not sure if it was beef or chicken adobo) but that was trash as well according to him. However, the banana split tasted good. They need to bring back the old breakroom menu because the current one sucks. I think this place is only good for games and hanging out with friends, but for food you should get it from somewhere else on campus.
This banquet is very professional and experienced in delivering luxurious and high end events. The staff was professional and well trained. Food was delicious and well served. Reasonable price. They have 2 large salons. I didn't see any weakness in their work. I would definitely take my next event there.

Wonderful pirate themed bar with meals to order and ‘the best drinks in town’ that I’ll second from what they’re describing except I did not ever have one, only seen. I hope the drinks are as good as they look and are described. I like my drinks thick like how gravy is thick.

C'est un bar très calme et sympathique, le personnel est vraiment gentil et accueillant. Pour une première visite, moi et mon amie à vite été à l'aise. Je recommande à 100% pour une petite soirée entre amis pour boire un verre ou deux. Malheureusement il n'y a pas bcp de choix d'alcool, mais ils ont les classiques et ce n'est pas plus dérangeant. C'est pas trop chère non plus et ils acceptent juste le cash mais il y a un ATM à l'intérieur.
Went to Moxie's for an impromptu lunch after a movie. Service was great! We were seated right away. Food tastes great and was served fairly quickly. We ordered the Prawn Tagliatelle, Chicken Alfredo, and Blackened Shrimp Tacos. For dessert, we got the Bite Of Brownie, which is just a mini version of Moxie’s famous White Chocolate Brownie (a must-order dessert in my opinion). Nice private seating arrangements and classy atmosphere. Clean and aesthetic bathrooms.
