Great location and variety of pastries, but food and drinks are average. I've been here many times. Today I got a plain Swiss roll, and it was mostly frozen. I told the staff, and she said yeah it's frozen. It's because they "freeze it overnight then cut it". It's mind boggling for me because if I'm eating it there, should it not be fully thawed before they serve it to the customer? They did not seem apologetic at all, so I ended up getting a to-go box to take it home.
Also, we had breakfast here once, with eggs bacon toast. Don't do it! It's microwaved bacon as they don't actually have a full kitchen in the back. It tasted like airplane food.

Great espresso! The latte art even in the to-go cup was a great touch. The peach danish was amazing. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I definitely recommend a visit here.

Staff are always super welcoming. Tip for first timer: bring your own joints, order drinks & food, and enjoy your time!! I like their downstairs lounge, but sometimes it’s closed due to events or something else. Sometimes I see people bring their board games too.
amazing food choice, got the avacado-me and service was quick, atmosphere was calm and the whole area was clean. The food was great too for a decent price!!

Would 100% come here again, they have delicious pastries and serve JJBean coffee (also delicious) I find usually cafes prioritize either coffee or their pastries but this place does both amazingly!

Great cinnamon bun! It's huge though, couldn't eat dinner afterwards 🤣
As my restaurant greeter told me,
"We are known for our breakfast egg sandwiches. Here's a list of options. Truffle mushroom...Avocado... I chose the cheese and bacon. Soft, toasty white bread, fluffy eggs...every mouthful delicious!
Awesome staff, great food and drinks. Atmosphere is cozy and welcoming.
So good! I got the Hawaiian 🌺 Luau
Brioche loaf, spam, scrambled eggs, cheddar, crispy seaweed, kewpie mayo
It was so good, I had to slow down so I can maximize the delicious flavors.
Toast was perfectly crunchy, while pillowy thick
Eggs. Pretty much the best, fluffiest tasting eggs ever!
Spam was crunchy and perfect thickness.
The rest were just matched perfectly.
This will forever be on my top breakfast places.
Enjoy! ☺️
Loved their fun selection of seasonal drinks (I got the Turkish delight latte)! They have all of the basics as well.

I got the grilled veggie sandwich, which was packed with flavour and served at the perfect temperature.

Bonus: spacious with lots of different seating options, making it a great spot to sit and study or do laptop work. I went mid-day on a weekday and it wasn't very busy!

My mom and I are a huge fan of the almond croissants here as they are loaded with almonds and baked to perfection. Normally they don’t put holds on food items as they are quite busy, but the staff made an exception for us. Very grateful for the staff going above and beyond to save 4 almond croissants for us!

My whole family was overjoyed by the kind gesture, made the experience exceed our expectations. Thank you Villagio Cafe!
A delightful breakfast lunch place across from the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Good egg toast sandwiches. Friendly staff and a nice courtyard you can eat at the benches when the weather is nice. Highly recommend you try it.
The atmosphere was great. Nice little coffee shop to pop into and experience - if for no other reason, then the acknowledge yard space. It felt like a little oasis in the middle of the hustle n bustle of the east side. Definitely recommend this place.

The place and atmosphere are great. We were a party of 5, and the clerk charged us an extra cover and refused to charge for the food accordingly. We noticed and asked for a refund on the extra cover. They tried to blame it on us and said they wouldn't be doing any refunds but could offer a joint. We disagreed, as this wasn't our mistake. They got upset and pulled out a $10 bill and said, 'Don't come back.' It's sad that a place that claims to be 'friendly' and 'safe' does not uphold this through their customer service.

This is our staff "go-to" for coffee in the morning, it's a cute little coffee shop with lots of seating overlooking the harbour.

My only challenge is the price for everything is high, and the staff service is non-existent. They wouldn't recognize a regular if their life depended on it. It's all walkup service so I guess that makes sense.

Still, nice spot for a coffee and a pastry in the morning!
Top notch coffee, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Bathrooms without codes. The pastries look really good but I don’t want to be fat anymore; thus I resist the urge to wolf one down.

The biggest advantage of this place is its location on the water front overlooking marina with some amazing views. There are few outdoor seats to enjoy nice weather on sunny day. Not too many food options, mainly pastries and cabinet cakes, nothing vegetarian or vegan. Coffee is decent, but they don’t know what flat white is. Service is Asian crew with typical don’t bother me and no smile attitude. Tables were dirty and not cleaned and at lunch time there was nothing left to eat anymore.

Came Lovelarte first time in the morning at 9 am. Busy inside the coffee shop. Lined up when I entered here. I ordered 12 oz Latte and Coconut Macaroon.
Macaroon was tough(hard), I wished warm one.

I can't believe how good this place is. I thought I reviewed it before. Maybe they changed owners, or I just thought wrong. You wouldn't think for a second that a coffee shop in the same complex as a municipal government building would be any good. You'd think it'd be a moribund half-hearted affair. Last time I went here I was impressed with the seating and the arrangement, but it was pretty dead. Maybe that was during The Varus. Well, nowadays it's poppin' off.

I love the huge selection of good indoor and outdoor seating. The bathrooms are clean and spacious and private and well done.

For my oat latte they offered me two different choices of beans, one of which was the local Pallet company. I went with that. Pretty good. I'd like to come back and get a regular black coffee to judge it with a little more discrimination.

This place is a good alternative to chillin' in the library.
Found this cafe by accident and I couldn’t be more happier I ended up at this place. The staff are very nice and helpful, the food was great, service was fast and best of all, I love the interior of this cafe. The place was clean, plenty of seating and chairs are comfortable. Great place to hang out and chill and have some quite time. I ordered Rosemary and Thyme Mushroom on sourdough bread topped with poached egg, and for the drinks I got the London Fog and chocolate chip cookie for dessert.

This is a fun welcoming place to smoke up, hangout, and have snacks. 💨 😊
The oat milk latte was good. I went to have the orange muffin, but it doesn't have it anymore, and the lady recommended a berryberry muffin. It was good, too.
I'm not certain this avocado is edible; it certainly doesn't look appetizing. After tasting a tiny portion of it and finding it unpleasant, I had to throw the rest of avocado away. How can they serve customers this kind of avocado with a clear conscience?
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Matchstick Cafe and my experience was absolutely outstanding! From the moment I walked through the door, Erin and Taylor went above and beyond to ensure that my visit was perfect in every way. Their exceptional service and genuine passion for their craft truly elevated my time at this delightful cafe.

First and foremost, I must commend Erin for her warm and friendly demeanor. She greeted me with an infectious smile, making me feel instantly welcome and comfortable. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she gladly took the time to explain the various offerings and make insightful recommendations tailored to my tastes. I really appreciated her patience and attention to detail.

Taylor, on the other hand, completely blew me away with their barista skills. Their intricate latte art is a testament to their talent and dedication to their craft. Not only did Taylor create a beautifully crafted and meticulously prepared latte for me, but they also took the time to explain the intricacies of their coffee-making process, showcasing their love for coffee and the art of brewing. Their passion for coffee was infectious, and it definitely added an extra level of enjoyment to my experience.

The atmosphere of Matchstick Cafe is cozy and inviting, with a charming ambiance that's perfect for savoring a hot cup of coffee or indulging in their delectable pastries. The attention to detail in the decor and layout creates a welcoming environment that is both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable.

The quality of the food and drinks at Matchstick Cafe exceeded my expectations. Their coffee is undoubtedly top-notch, with a range of carefully sourced beans that offer a diverse and flavorful experience. Their pastries are freshly baked and absolutely scrumptious, making it difficult to resist trying one of everything! The POWER MUFFINS are best in the city… 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Erin and Taylor's exceptional service extended beyond simply taking my order. They engaged in pleasant conversation, making me feel like a valued customer rather than just another person passing through. It's clear that they genuinely care about the satisfaction of their guests, and their friendly demeanor and attentiveness added a personal touch to my visit.

Overall, dining at Matchstick Cafe was an absolute pleasure, and that is largely due to the exceptional service provided by Erin and Taylor. Their passion for their craft, attention to detail, and warm personalities create a welcoming experience that sets this cafe apart from others. I highly recommend Matchstick Cafe to anyone looking for a memorable coffee and pastry experience, and I assure you that Erin and Taylor will make your visit truly exceptional.

Thank you, Erin and Taylor, for making my time at Matchstick Cafe truly unforgettable.

This is a hidden cafe/ coffee gem- it was recommend by our walking-tour guide.
Located just on the outside of the beautiful and unique public library.
The cafe has a nice space for working and hanging out, and there’s free WiFi too.
Coffee was excellent- one of the best coffees we had during our 5 days in Vancouver.
They also do a good selection of nice food and sweet treats too.
Highly recommended.

Matchstick is my favourite Cafe
They hands down have the best London fogs - hot or cold. And today I tried their jackfruit sandwich and OoooOo you'll love it. Smokey bby flavour with just the right amount of sauce, a photo was a after thought but you got one!
Highly recommend all their locations.
This one is cozy with plenty of seating.

Got here early in the morning and got a coffee, London fog tea, and a Vegan Chocolate chip zucchini muffin. Everything we got was fantastic. The ambiance was also very relaxed and they had a great 80s playlist going. Wish I was able to sit there the whole morning - would definitely go back!
Beautiful cafe, the iced mocha with oat milk and butter croissant were amazing, and the service was incredibly kind, quick, and efficient, and it was overall a great experience. It's one of the best cafes I've been to, I HIGHLY recommend. I love that it's supposed to look like a train, I feel like im inside the hogwarts express!!

One of my favorite coffee shops in Vancouver. Such a warm and welcoming energy that keeps me coming back. The chai here is my favorite! I’m a big tea person so I’ve been searching for the best chai in town and this one has been my favorite , enough spice and not too sweet, so good with oat milk 😋

What can I say??? Well, just that the New Amsterdam Cafe is undeniably AWESOME!!! We went early and opened the place up a few different days on our trip so it was quiet and all ours when we were there. A great place to chill and enjoy the lifestyle! The lady that helped us when we went was very nice and made great coffees. She was very helpful and knowledgeable with the Volcano we rented from them as well. Will always come here when in Vancouver. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for good, clean fun times!!! Thank you all at New Amsterdam Cafe.

Cafe Villaggio near downtown Vancouver is a hidden gem worth discovering. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by the enticing aroma of freshly baked pastries. Their delectable selection of pastries is nothing short of heavenly, with flaky croissants, melt-in-your-mouth muffins, and indulgent cakes. Pair these treats with their expertly brewed coffee drinks, and you're in for a delightful experience. But what truly sets this cafe apart is its breathtaking view of the Vancouver harbor from the patio. Sipping your coffee while taking in the picturesque scenery is pure bliss. Moreover, the prices are surprisingly reasonable, offering excellent value for the quality and ambiance. Whether you're a local or a visitor, Cafe Villaggio is a must-visit destination for pastry lovers seeking a memorable experience.

Nice to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather while eating delicious sandwiches and great tasting coffee. So happy we found this place and happier to find parking nearby
I was able to treat myself to a comforting breakfast Bread x Butter downtown in the beautiful Cathedral Place Building.

I had the Classic Egg Toast with Ham, a Flat White, and a Black Currant House Soda. The egg toast was fluffy and buttery rich.

Service was quick and friendly. Definitely a great breakfast option downtown.
A nice coffee shop
Specious with large patio
Prices are moderate
The plants are well taken care off
I have been living in Vancouver over 7 years but somehow I missed this spot! Amazing place, great vibe .. my new favourite spot to chill especially during summer time they have little garden where you can seat and relax
Good for light breakfast, however coffee is not great.
They have lots of vegan and vegetation options, even with Impossible meat.

Love coming to Crossroads, a hidden DT lunch spot. You don’t come across genuine small businesses like this much anymore. Appreciate the excellent customer service and classic lunch options at a great price.
Visited the local cafe and I was pleasantly surprised by the incredible service and latte. My latte was quite possibly the best I have ever had! The almond crossaint was a special treat that truly made my day! The staff was kind and welcoming and I was in and out in no time. Highly recommend this cafe, if you're looking for a great cup of coffee and a sweet treat.

Tea latte! We tried hojicha and mango hojicha. A bit weak but tasted ok. They have other interesting flavoured tea lattes as well.
We also tried doughnut and croissant. They were good though both on dry side with minimum fillings.
I never left the review saying that “it’s my favorite coffee place” or “best coffee in the city”, but I have to, so you can find this place. They do magic with their coffee. I place order usually for a regular latte and cappuccino, and I never have a “heart attack” 🌝 after it, and my organism is enjoying it. Also, the coffee tastes so delicious and smooth, so sometime I can order espresso. On top of that, it’s the 2nd time I've tasted a Jackfruit Sandwich. Love it!

Absolutely delicious sandwiches, stellar espresso, and lovely atmosphere. Extra kudos for the Latin American goodies selection. We were thrilled to find Salsa Lizano here!
An Egg Toast is one of the best breakfast sandwiches you will ever eat!

I read about Bread x Butter on Eater and I always like to make room for food created by a Top Chef contestant. So it was on my list as a must try and we had the opportunity the morning we left Vancouver.

I had the Hawaiian Luau and my partner got the Avocado-Me. They were both absolutely outstanding. You look at these sandwiches in the pictures and you expect huge and overwhelming. They are huge, they are overwhelming, BUT the brioche loaf is super light and fluffy like a Japanese milk bread. It plays the perfect role of a warm soft pocket for all the goodness inside. And the inside was SO good! My eggs were perfectly scrambled, the fry on the spam was just right and it (as expected) provided all the salt needed. With cheddar and kewpie it was wonderfully cheesy and creamy and the seaweed brought all the flavor around on the Hawiian theme. I also had a few bites of the Avocado-Me and it was just as fantastic.

Because my partner picked these up on the go I cannot speak to the restaurant itself, but the location is pretty excellent if you plan to visit the downtown area or want to stop off on your way out to the park.
I love breakfast and I love breakfast sandwiches and I will be dreaming about these Egg Toasts for a long, long time. As a traveler, I know it can be hard to turn down the often-available free hotel breakfast, but this is worth every coin for a sandwich you will not soon forget. Absolutely do not hesitate!
For its location and ambiance, this cafe is perfect. The interior is beautifully decorated and there is lots of mixed use seating available for whatever you are doing, whether it’s working or chatting with friends.

The coffee here though at least to me tasted just average. I tried the iced pour over which was served a bit too hot and the oat milk here separated/settled really quickly so my guess is it’s not a high quality barista blend.
Absolutely gorgeous location with the trees blooming outside. The iced espresso was bold and delicious, and the double baked almond croissant was perfect! YUM!

Stopped by as I was in the area waiting for people. Facilities nice cool vibe, pretty cool little place to grab a coffee or tea and a little snack. I had a coffee and read my book outside. Great vibes, there’s computer campers but it doesn’t kill it, still free tables available. Service is great, drip coffee is good and flat white was made to perfection (with oat milk). Pastries looked REALLY good, I had the vegan chocolate chip cookies and they were perfect with coffee. But what made me the happiest is that they sell Foonie cards which is an artist that I love love and always support. She moved to Montréal and it’s getting harder to find her cards around town (I personally like to touch the cards before I buy them, but you can find her on Etsy). There’s other cute merchandise, it’s a nice space overall.

My go-to when I'm craving a fresh + filling sandwich during the workday. Every time I've ordered their ham + cheese sandwich, it is toasted to perfection (with in-house bread!), the perfect amount of mayo + mustard, and fresh + vibrant ingredients. Honestly the best sandwich I've had in Vancouver to date. I keep meaning to try their other sandwiches (e.g. roast beef, spinach + feta + turkey, avocado goddess), but the ham + cheese is so good it's hard to sway away. The baked goods & croissants are gorgeous as well. They offer staples like chocolate or butter croissants or unique combos like a Matcha or Earl Grey croissant, or cream cheese + banana muffin (YES). Can't recommend this place enough, the perfect lunch stop!

Good coffee. Place is very clean, lots of attention to detail (for example cold drinks in the fridge always face label out). They sell name brand candy bars - doubt they make much money on them so I suppose it's just a little thing to make customers happy. Owners are hard working. The kind of people who you want to see succeed.

One of the best London Fogs I’ve had! Atmosphere is also very aesthetically appealing and there’s lots of seating in the cafe to hang or work. Music is loud and there’s usually lots of people though, not ideal for taking calls but there is seating outside
This cafe has a nice atmosphere, delicious desserts, and the shop is near the bay. overlooking the ship and the sea Suitable for drinking coffee and enjoying the view. The price of the bread is not very expensive. After eating, you can take a walk in the park nearby. I really like the atmosphere around here. Feel relaxed.

Nice staff. Quite busy place. Well located from the yaletown roundhouse sky train station.

Indoor limited seatings. It can feel quite crowded on the weekend. Outdoor is nice and spaced out. But no heating
I love to try different coffee and tea places and Matchstick had been on my list for long time. I finally got to try out coffee and tea both at Matchstick and boy it did not disappoint. The ambience of the cafe is amazing and they provide variety of coffee and tea. They also provide variety of food option. This is a must visit place if you love coffee in my opinion.

Really cool concept of a clothing store with a coffee counter in the middle. Barista was pretty nice and their espresso will give you the pick me up you need - it’s strong. I got an oat milk flat white and I like how the oat milk tasted unsweetened, I’d say some might even need sugar added. It’s not a place to chat with friends, but it’s a good place for a grab and go drink!

Such a bad cappuccino I needed to rinse my mouth out. What a disappointment. Wasn't cheap either. Too bad as I love supporting locally owned/operated places. Don't recommend unless you want to shop for clothes and maybe get a non-coffee drink? (and skip the cookies; they're overpriced)
Visited this shop for the first time today. Absolutely adore it! Super nice atmosphere with big open space and lots of seating possibilities. But what makes this place awesome is the super friendly and helpful staff, and the awesome espresso. Come check them out!

Tiny little cafe and Latin market (mostly snacks and sauces) tucked into a mostly residential area, but it’s full of character. The woman working the front was so nice and her attitude warmed the place up. No seating inside, but four tables outside. The two near the store are small, but the two on the other side of the sidewalk have seating to accommodate 4-5 people. When I got there for lunch around 12:30 Friday, the tables were all full, but one opened up right when I needed it and things had slowed down by the time I left about an hour later. It’s a nice location to relax for a bit (if it's not busy and someone doesn't need the table). One thing to note is that they don’t have reusable house mugs or plates, everything is packed to go, but they do accept personal cups for drinks.
I had their Vegan Panini, a Tres Leches Cake, and the signature Dulce de Leche Macchiato. The panini was alright, but could’ve used more filling. I thought I could taste the eggplant, but couldn’t really see much eggplant. The mustard was kind of overpowering and probably would’ve been less so if there were more vegetables to balance it. I think their ingredients were good quality, they possibly just didn’t really know the right ratios for a vegetarian sandwich. The tres leches was the thing I had the lowest expectation for only because it was in a fridge to grab yourself and was packaged in a plastic cup, but it was possibly the best tres leches cake I’ve tried. The layering was so nice and I really enjoyed the light caramel-like flavour. The macchiato was also very good and the foam on top was cool. With a name like dulce de leche I was expecting very sweet but it was a pretty medium sweetness level. Their espresso is really good, I think even without the flavour, it’s very smooth.
I’d say generally the prices are really good. The panini ($10.5) was a little expensive for what it was probably worth because there wasn’t a whole lot of filling even though it was a good size, but the other sandwiches are similar prices and look like much better deals. The drinks and baked goods are pretty affordable compared to other coffee shops downtown!

This place, with a small space did manage to pull up a good amount of crowd, which of course because of the coffee and bakery items. Tried the Iced latte and chocolate croissant (recommended by them) and I actually it. The half an hour I spent there was quite relaxing. Simple, wooden aesthetic, definitely one to try if you're into exploring local coffee shops.

A very well rounded, well priced (for downtown location pricing standards), central cafe located right by the waters of Coal Harbour and directly across the street from Cardero’s. The perfect location for moms to grab a coffee and delicious snack or breakfast/lunch while waiting to pick their kids up from the Coal Harbour community centre two blocks away which is why I love this place! I enjoy grabbing a coffee and a pastry and sitting by the bench to enjoy the scenic harbour views.

The only problem? The lineups are extremely long here and the staff are working extremely hard already but since this is the only cafe in the area, they get super overloaded. Watch out for seasoned line budging here; many of the regulars will step into the front to pretend to look at the case of pastries and when you’re a tourist you are chatting away and the next thing you know they are in front of you. There is a dark haired Caucasian lady that I see every weekend that budges in line in front of chatty tourists that don’t notice her slipping in. She’s always 2+ people ahead of me or else I would speak sternly to her about her terrible behavior.

Anyway, there is free wifi here and I love the outdoor patio seats. Even if you don’t get to sit outside, you can sit anywhere along the Sea Wall as there are benches. The bathrooms are large and spacious and wheelchair accessible; the women’s bathroom has a baby changing table too, which is amazing! There is also ample indoor seating and a table for you to add your milk and cream (did not see soy or other milk alternatives on the table but I think you can order it); both white and brown sugar were available as well.

Recently I ordered a jumbo iced coffee and it was only $3, while the almond croissant was $5 and very tasty. I can’t tell if they bake in house or if they get their pastries/desserts externally directly from bakers at Doe Cafe (my favourite almond croissant place!), but the almond croissant here was flaky but not super soft on the inside. Still excellent and very enjoyable though.

Beautiful cafe, really enjoyed the atmosphere! The staff was very friendly and nice. Love the concept of the cafe where it’s decorated to be like a platform at a train station. The small details throughout the cafe was a great touch!

Coffee loaf was really delicious and the vanilla latte was really good. Would come back again to get work done as it was really quite and there was a plug for your laptop.

Hole on the wall coffee/clothing shop. Had an Iced Americano there with their beans which were butter roasted. The coffee was very enjoyable, and the staff were also very nice to talk to and friendly. I would definitely recommend trying this place out.
Great atmosphere with nice open spaces to sit and chill. Staff are super friendly and helpful, the coffee is pretty damn good too. The outstanding though is their food, hands down best mushrooms I've tasted and the eggs were damn near perfect
BEST vegan chocolate banana bread!!! Wish I would’ve bought them all! So so good! Great little cafe, was able to connect to the wifi quickly and get some work done while enjoying my tea and delicious banana bread! Highly recommend coming here I will for sure be back for another slice!

Found this cafe by accident and so glad we did. My husband likes his plain bacon sandwiches for breakfast and the owners were so obliging and friendly we went back for the 3 mornings of our stay in the city.
Thank you for the breakfasts and the information about the city..and our conversations

Major 5 stars for their ultra flaky croissants! There is a full bakery in the back so it appears they bake their pastries fresh daily, yum! I couldn’t help myself so I ordered a butter croissant, almond croissant and strawberry jelly donut. The almond croissant has a creamy runny condensed milk almond filling; so delicious but also a tad too sweet. The donut was quite dense, still good, but my pick would hands down be the croissants! Also ordered a cappuccino, which were average. I would say come for the coffee but stay for the croissants!! Definitely recommended

Beautiful cafe, cozy and old train station-themed place with great drinks. Their panini pressed sandwich was great! I tried their tuna melt and loved it. It wasn't too greasy.
Red velvet latte was too cinnamony for my partner's taste, but I enjoyed it. Come for great coffee and relaxed atmosphere. There was small space that was children-friendly, and a nice cute garden space at the back.
I really liked this place, its a super chill atmosphere. We had a great night. The food and deserts are really good.
You can rent all smoking tools and devices by the hour. Even rent a rolling tray kit with a grinder, different rolling papers, filters, a lighter and the tray for $4.20😍
The staff are all super sweet. It's a $10 membership fee to get in and then once your member, its $5 each time.
My only complaint( if I can even callit that) is that the seats are not comfortable.

Such a wonderful place. A real treasure. Wish we had more small, character shops like this. Great coffee and all kinds of Latin American staples for sale too! Sandwiches look fabulous too, so will be back to try one.

Working in a new location brings with it the adventure of finding new lunchtime treasures. Yesterday I found such a place and saw pierogis on their menu for today. My morning has never felt so long! Finally, lunchtime rolled around and the pierogi and kielbasa special did not disappoint!! Loaded with sour cream, onions, and mustard PLUS Caesar salad!! YUM! So happy to have found this friendly and delicious cafe!! Lunchtime will be the bright spot of every work day from now on!! Delicious!!!!

Came here on a whim because we saw it from the outside and thought "how cute!". It is definitely more of a place for studying and taking photos, but the food wasn't so much my thing. I think the scone was a bit on the dry side and the earl grey muffin a tad too sweet. The latte was also not as creamy/foamy as I would've liked for the price, however I can see that might be challenging with a dairy alternative. The one thing that was redeeming from the latte was that you can get a non-dairy milk option for free, which not many places offer. I think that's awesome to allow more people to access this option without the burden of paying more when dairy wreaks havoc on their body!

Totally love this place, beautiful neighbourhood, cute totally unique place, a mosaic of everything Latin both to eat or take away. So go have a coffee with a side or something sweet or savoury and take some unique groceries home. Love the Argentinian alfajores.

Burnt milk, shots poorly pulled... definitely the worst cappuccino I've had in Vancouver. The only reason to visit this place is to check out the owner's artwork, which is gorgeous. Otherwise - skip it!

Wow, keen to try new places and the reviews were good. We ordered two lattes but they were so bad. Couldn’t work out if it was the beans or the milk. Unfortunately couldn’t recommend this place.

Love this little shop, the owners are so kind and the food is such a good deal and delicious, especially for an office building cafe. I think they get overlooked a lot because of the myriad of options downtown, but I've never been disappointed by them. The only disappointment is that I changed jobs and no longer work nearby.

Great soup and sandwich for around $10.

My go to place for a fresh homemade lunch. Service is always friendly. Good selection of sandwiches and 2 choices of daily soup.

The Cafe is located to the right of 777 Hornby lobby.

I don't know what the two star review is about??? I've been going to Crossroads almost since the owners took it over and it's probably the best and least expensive place for breakfast, lunch and snacks in all of downtown. The owners genuinely care and and whenever I'm there they greet everyone by name which shows that people are going back over and over. It's always busy as well, but the owners are really fast and efficient, and there is no long wait. They have specials every day, along with a huge sandwich selection, soups and lots of snacks, drinks, salads, fruits etc. And also very important to me is that it's super clean and I love that they wear gloves making sandwiches and food prep. Honestly, you never see that. So for sure this is a five star cafe. Extra note...you have to walk into the building and look to the right to find it, as there is no street view. A hidden gem!

Found this coffee shop using the Google Maps. We tried the pour over coffee here which was not bad. The atmosphere overall is quite nice. See coffee did come slow not because of poor over but because there was only one staff working, this really slow things down perhaps they should have one staff covering the tail while another one is making the coffee.

Tiny romantic cafe with great cafe and interesting interior with floor made from pennys! Nice patio front of the cafe to sit and enjoy your cafe. They also have traditional Czech honey cake called Marlenka.
Come to try it!
