Thumb up to this lady, she does an incredible job. I was helped at a nearby counter when she got assaulted by the customer I happen to know as "Hayley Gibb". The Lady remained courteous and professional. When this rude girl became very aggressiv, the lady informed her she would record the conversation for safety purposes, and she suggested her to come back to talk to her supervisor. It's crazy the amount of uncivilized customers these people have to pull up with. I am glad to see the members of Parks Canada and BLLT were supportive of the lady. All these people from the Visitor center are providing an excellent service, it is great to see them working as a community. I was going to leave a positive review when I recognize the situation in another review, I thought I could bring my version. Well done guys!

Helpful little visitor centre with plenty of info about what you can do in the area.
Wir haben super Infos bekommen und eine Karte voller individueller Empfehlungen. Dominique kennt viele Tipps und hat wirklich Spaß an seinem Job, das hat uns super gefallen!
'My gosh, what a place' I think, every single time I remember this place. Why?

- the worst smelling toilets I came across, everybody was wearing a mask or covering their noses and not because of the past pandemic
- a very rude girl (brunette, shoulder hair, a bit stocky, 5'7 tall and mid '20s) who did not even listen to me when I asked her a simple question and asked me to join a queue to learn the answer to my question. What was her role there? Because door usher she was not. She made me think of some retarded and full of importance commies with her negative attitude. Not good. If you do not like your summer job, do not take such a job, missy. You bring nothing positive towards this institution.
Nice, but very crowded during the week-end. Almost fight with a lady for à parking spot. Also the bellvedere of Champlin was closed for cars...Don't go there in the week-end.
A beautiful place to see the fall colours.. I would recommend pre booking the tickets online and we went on a thanksgiving long weekend to be honest it was crowded but the view was worth the wait! Be prepared to climb a flight of stairs!!!
The staff is great, watch the 15' movie that teaches about the park

The Dorset lookout tower is a must-visit for anyone seeking breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. This architectural marvel rises high above the treetops, offering a bird's-eye perspective of the natural beauty that Dorset has to offer. Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast or just looking for a serene escape, this tower provides an unforgettable experience. The climb to the top is a bit of a challenge, but the reward is worth it as you're greeted with a 360-degree view that captures the essence of Dorset's wilderness. It's a perfect spot for hikers, photographers, or anyone looking to connect with nature and take in the splendor of the area. Don't forget your camera and a sense of adventure when you visit this iconic lookout tower.
Need to make reservation for crowd control. There are staff working at the entrance checking your ticket or bar code on the reservation email, then staff everywhere to guide you to parking. The tower is just a short walk from the upper parking lot. Bring enough clothing as it can get really windy and cold. When we went there wasn't a line but when we came down the line started to build. Steps are quite narrow, need to hold onto the hand rail to be safe. Older and younger visitors, or if you have fear of height then you might need assistance. Take your time and be patient. The top looks like a cage but you will be able to take good pictures through the fence. Be nice, take pictures, enjoy the view, then leave so the people behind you can do the same.
It was a rainy/snowy day, so it was as clear and colourful as we expected.
The structure is very sturdy and it doesn't move a lot even with strong winds and people walking up and down.
It was busy at times, I believe on a good weather day will be very busy.
Going up the stairs is easier than going down. Also, the weather conditions might make it slippery as it is a full steel structure.
You need to book a reservation ahead of time.
There are two parking lots. One near the tower, and one at the bottom of the hill (15min walking uphill towards the tower).
There are portable washrooms available.
The view you get here is stunning. Even if you decide to not climb the tower, there is pretty good view near parking as well. Staff was super friendly & helpful
Great place to get detailed tourism information and the staff is very friendly. Took the walking tour and it was amazing.
A beautiful spot around 15 to 20 km off the highway 60. Wanted to visit this place after seeing lots of post or videos on instagram last year. I was driving to our cabin while saw this place was on the route we stopped by since it was a weekday and didn’t have lot of crowd. I would recommend pre-booking your entry online if planning for a weekend visit. The parking lot closer to tower and you have to climb at least 8 to 10 flights of stairs to reach the top. Midway to the top you can stand and wait checking out the scenery around since only 30 ppl can be at top at any given point in time. Once on the top you get a 360* view of Algonquin and Muskoka. We were lucky enough to get very good fall color sighting even though the day has rainy and fog. The last car entry is at 5 pm in the evening and on the stairs the entry stops after 5:45pm. Even the parking lot had lot of trees with a good fall colors.
Small but mighty! Wonderful and helpful staff who were eager to assist. Knowledge of the area was impressive. Gave us a great recommendation for lunch...superb food.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Because of her recommendation, we enjoyed a nice walk to see the fall foliage and a fall.
The information center in Quebec City falls short in providing adequate accessibility options, despite its role in catering to a large number of tourists. While they did offer information about a pharmacy and a nearby bathroom, it was disappointing to find that it was not handicap accessible, as I have previously mentioned in a separate review.

One would expect that a large building housing the city's information center would prioritize accessibility, but unfortunately, this was not the case. It is disheartening that they did not take the opportunity to provide a comprehensive list of accessible attractions and activities for visitors. Such a list would have been immensely helpful for individuals with mobility challenges, allowing them to fully enjoy their time in the city.

Considering the significant tourism industry in Quebec City, which includes numerous cruise ships with thousands of passengers, it is surprising that accessibility seems to be overlooked. On our cruise ship alone, with nearly 4000 people, a large majority of the population being over 60 years old, it is evident that a significant portion of visitors would require assistance in getting around. It is essential for the city to recognize this demographic and make efforts to accommodate their needs.

While it is understandable that the city's charm is maintained through its historical architecture and layout, it is crucial to strike a balance between preserving heritage and ensuring accessibility for all. A better effort needs to be made to include individuals who may not have the same mobility capabilities as others, allowing them to fully enjoy the city's offerings.

The information center, being a central hub for tourists, could play a significant role in improving accessibility. They have the opportunity to provide detailed information on accessible locations and attractions, helping individuals with disabilities navigate the city more easily. By offering accessibility mapping or guides, they could alleviate the challenges faced by those with mobility issues, ensuring a safer and more enjoyable experience.

In conclusion, the information center in Quebec City disappoints in terms of accessibility. The lack of a handicap accessible bathroom and the absence of a comprehensive list of accessible attractions highlight the need for improvement. With a large tourism industry and a significant number of visitors who may require assistance, it is crucial for the city and its information center to prioritize accessibility and make efforts to ensure that everyone can fully experience and appreciate the beauty of Quebec City.
It's not huge so easy for all ages to view. The lookout tower was awesome...views were fantastic
We were misinformed with a bunch of things. Went a long way to see something which turned out we needed to book ahead etc so we just wasted our time.
Obviously the scenic view is stunning and did not disappoint. Downtown Banff is very crowded even if we went during and off-season time. Recommend driving out to different viewing points which are located along Tunnel Mountain road, where it's less crowed, parking is free, and it's actually in nature. Great experience!

Gorgeous as always. It was a Saturday and we waited less than 10 minutes to buy our annual pass. The views are breathtaking.

The sky wheel was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend going at night if you can. You will be able to catch the fireworks over Niagara falls as well as the night light up of the falls in the changing of the color. It's also a great opportunity to view Niagara falls from all angles and you get a couple of go around so we really enjoyed it.

Long line but worth it!! It’s odd you buy your tickets online and still have to check in at the Kiosk, there is no scan mobile ticket at the line.
It’s a bit overpriced, $50 for a family of 4 (2 toddlers), but the scenery is worth it.
Our unit was air conditioned and that was great! We really enjoyed it.

Niagara has been my backyard growing up in Hamilton Ontario. I always wanted to try the wheel but they always had massive line ups waiting for hours. The day we visited Niagara Falls was busy but the line at the wheel was short so me and the wife decided to try it out. 15$ admission ticket and it’s a quick 10 minutes ride. Price is fair and the view is pretty nice depending on when you are taking the ride. We had a sunset view from the sky wheel. Good experience overall and good worth for the money for the 350 Niagara Falls views!

Absolutely beautiful view, you get a good time on the wheel itself as you get about 4-5 full spins before being let off. Hundreds of photos opportunities and you're able to get a great view of the volcano at the Dino Golf which occasionally spits out fire! (It'll probably go off about 4 times during your time on the wheel)

It costs $15 standard (13+) and $7 for children (12 and under)

It's first come first serve so unless you think you can get a discount buying in advance, I see no advantage doing so. Great views! Good thing to do early to get a lay of the land in Clifton Hill Park.

The pods are air conditioned. Also a great way to rest and cool off if needed. No need to bring a towel!
One of the best Parks I have seen in Canada until now, what an amazing, awesome, wonderful forest very quiet. We enjoyed a lot walking around crossing the bridge, I like that the people do not throw anything in the grass and it's very clean 👌 and well organized.
I love this Country.
Really Canada 🇨🇦 is an Fascinating country
Nice place must visit. there is 1.9km Sugarbush trail. there is a free shuttle service on weekend and holidays during summer and fall. many road access to private vehicles are closed during weekdays to plan ahead and search before going. ice cream shop and restaurants nearby. they center is good have clean washrooms and staff is friendly and give detailed information.
A beautiful park with so much to see and so much wildlife... Unfortunately we were there on a Tues and most of the parks trails and car parks are only accessible on a weekend and a Wed!! A shame as this was are only chance to see this amazing place whilst we were visiting Canada. I recommend planning your visit carefully.
Went to get a map and understanding of the area. They spoke French and English and provided me with a photocopy of the trail black 15 blue 15 blue 36 to pink Lake. They were very helpful courteous. They had small displays and some souvenirs. They can also guide you on which roads are closed where the parking lots are and parking fees if needed. If you are planning on attending any area in the park, I would stop in first just to get the lowdown.
Never been in a tourist information were I've been the one to try and start the conversation. Well I tried twice but no luck. Maybe the tourists of Inverness are to be seen and not heard. Strange.
I'm actually scared of ferris wheels but this one is very good! Amazing views of the falls, and the ride feels safe and smooth. It rotates about 3 full times around and the ride lasts about 10 minutes. Overall, it's a nice way to see the falls, and definitely recommend it!

Also, we got this with a bundle to see other attractions. I think it's a good deal!
Great place for kids to visit and learn about the flora and fauna at the Gatineau Park! Kids enjoyed learning names of the animals and identifying their sounds! Good interactive activities and a workbook!
Every minute that I called this location and spoke to Albert I got all the questions I needed answered. You would spend hours with me and then he would call back if I'm request as well. Amazing center! Great help. Made my trip enjoyable. Perfect resource for anyone that's looking for good information to get in and around Quebec City. I cannot emphasize enough how much patience he had to help me with all my questions and needs. He went above and beyond. I would give him a raise!!! Thank you Albert for making our stay amazing!! Naresh, first time traveler to QC.
Great park. Loved the experience centre. Use Google maps to find trail entrance
I highly recommend you visit the Parks Canada Visitor Centre. There is a lot to learn about Canadian geography and history where there is a museum. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They can provide valuable information about places to visit. Another piece of advice you will hear from them is "please don't litter the Parks". And I am repeating this advice since it is a big issue. Keep the Parks clean!!

Fun stop, beautiful views and friendly staff. If you are a party of more than 4, it costs less to drive up than to walk up, so keep that in mind. Overall I would reccomend stopping here for some great views (but not if you're scared of heights).

You should try it

Brought some friends visiting from Spain on a Thursday evening. We got our tickets and seats really quickly. Admission was $17 per adult. I would say the ride lasted about 12-15 minutes. We got 4 full rotations, so there were lots of opportunities to take photos. The last 2 rotations went slowly as they let off other passengers. We got a great view of Clifton Hill and the dinosaur mini putt lit up at night. The view of the falls lit up is much better than in my photos.
The park is beautiful and this visitor centre was very informative with the exhibits. The staff was friendly and helped me find trails to hike in the park.

Must visit place on your trip to Algonquin or Huntsville. Its not only the tower but trails and views around the area are all great. Entry to the area is paid, parking is free. Free drinking water & washrooms available on site.

Of course, fall visit is the best but the views in other seasons are breathtaking as well.

The tower itself is like a 15 minute thing and provides a 360 degree view of the area.

Spend some time sitting at the Peek a Boo Rock. Maybe have lunch or snacks there. Then take the trail down the hill. Its a nice long trail but the way back up is tiring so be careful of you have seniors in your group.

A great experience. Nice spot to take guests and tourists.

3.5/5 I was really looking forward to riding the Niagara Sky Wheel as I had missed out on it during my previous visit to Niagara. It seemed like an iconic activity that shouldn't be missed. However, once I got on it, I realized how high it actually was. I didn't anticipate feeling a bit fearful of the heights, so if you have a fear of heights, I would advise against going on this ride. The first two rounds on the Sky Wheel were enjoyable and provided a nice ride. I felt like we got a good view of the surroundings. However, by the third round, it started to feel repetitive, and we already knew what to expect. It would have been more exciting if there was some tour guide narration during the ride experience. I must admit that the price of the ride was a little steep. If the ticket price were closer to $10 or even under $15, it would have felt like a better value for money. Nevertheless, I'm still glad I got the opportunity to ride it, considering it is such a staple activity in Niagara.

However, based on my experience, I don't think I would choose to ride the Sky Wheel again in the future. The initial excitement and novelty wore off quickly, and considering the price and lack of variation, I don't feel it's worth a repeat visit. Overall, if you haven't experienced it before, it might be worth a try, but don't expect to be blown away
It was great experience. The parking is hard to find on weekends in summer. Would recommend going early.

Beautiful beaches.. witnessed the BMO walk to talk .. loved it .. it was rainy tough, not many people …
A beautiful sunny relatively warm March day so we ventured out to enjoy some sunshine and nature with a stop at the Gatineau Park Visitor Centre. The centre itself is beautifully constructed and completely accessible to wheelchairs in addition to some of its adjacent paths leading from the Centre. Inside the centre there is an information centre with recommendations for local sites or planning your visit at the centre, plus a selection of souvenirs for visitors. The are fully accessible washrooms and a nature museum with a history of the park and its wildlife inhabitants. The area next to the centre also has spaces for a picnic and benches. We took a short walk through the woods across a steel bridge over a small creek and enjoyed the quiet peace of the ancient forest that surrounded us. Lots of dog walkers on that Sunday and we had the chance to meet a few new 4-legged friends. Across the street from the centre there are several merchants and a variety of local restaurants/bakery. The photo attached is from the National Capital Commission library and features the interpretive display of wildlife and history of the park.

It’s where nature really praises God. The views are unbelievable, it’s mostly a straight road with clearly marked exits. It cost $21 dollar for our car and we were 3people so I thought that was reasonable. You get a discount for the gondola ride with any Alberta ID (yay locals).. what I don’t get is this culture of taking ride pictures and then charging a whole lot to print it out each, if it was made into a fridge magnet or something I will definitely want it but who wants a hard copy photo for $25 please 🙄🙄. Also visited Lake Louise which was 45mins drive from banff, if you want the lake view go in summer cause it was completely frozen but they built a cute castle on the lake which was cool for pictures and the famous Hotel Fairmont 😍
Great place for everyone. Brings you close to nature and forget everything. Short drive from Calgary. Just the drive itself is worth it. Great small town vibes with beautiful nature as the backdrop.
Great place for our 3 and 5 yr old grandchildren to wander through and explore. Lots of little rooms caverns and walkways and stuffed animals and exhibits to take in. It's about a 20 to 30 minute visit with kids that age.
You can park her for full day $12. Walk the trails to 2 lookouts. 1is like 6 stories high and the view is lovely. Other is very close to the water. 2nd lookout is a private place to swim and dive and avoid the big crowds of tobermorry
Stopped in to check out the museum and go up the viewing tower. Great museum and info regarding the area. The tower was good and views were awesome. Parking is available in the area and you can access the Bruce trail here as well as many other hiking loops. Will come again.

Banff visitor centre should be the first place to head when arriving to banff. The staff is very helpful, providing excellent information. what places to see, and must places to see. If one is taking the ONIT transportation up to Banff. The $10 CAD one way trip cost also includes the local Roam bus in the city of Banff. Otherwise . It will cost an adult $2. CAD. This is still a bargain. I highly recommend going to sulfur mountain and taking the gondola or for those that want to save some $$$. It would take nearly 2 1/2 hours to trek up the rough pathway. Is it worth it? YES!!!!

I spent a nice day trip to Banff. It cost me $20.00 round trip taking the ONIT transport from Calgary. FYI. It only operates Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It obvious the price is subsidized. If one travels to Banff, Monday to Thursday, expect to pay $45.00 CAD one way.

Besides the excellent staff at the visitor centre, The centre has clean restroom. Enjoy Banff, you will not regret it!
Barrie has a beautiful waterfront and a historic downtown. You can hiking, biking fishing, boating and canoeing, then eating and drinking.

Located in a historic bank building which is also a Canada Post Office there is lots of helpful information and friendly staff!
Very nicely organized place. This is the place you go to for any information regarding tourism. They even had one of the tour guide company which has 3 tours to offer. I personally will be driving a scooter just because it feels more lively to me. All the information about scooter, tours they have. They even have maps of the area and maps of the island and waterfall. Q
Staff very helpful and within the building was a very interesting museum about the local area.
Beautiful beach.
