A nice little oasis within the city's core. I like it and it can be quite relaxing at times. There is a nice little playground for the kids a d a great place to chill, eat or even read. Sometimes you even get a person playing the piano there.

25 years ago when I last went it was called Eaton's centre, the gardens were much larger and more beautiful back than.
They are still beautiful but would love to see more flowers.

I realize it's allot of work and money to provide a free inside garden to enjoy year round so I dare not complain and I love that there is still water falls through out and a piano anyone could play, as I sat there enjoying my lunch I was blessed with 3 different people playing beautifully.

I definitely recommend going there especially during the long winters to sit back and relax soaking in nature and sounds of water.
When I lived in Calgary I would often go there with a book to get some greenery and sun to liven up the long winters, I would still do that if I still lived there.

It's a little difficult to navigate to! The easiest path we found was to get on an elevator and go out to the fourth floor! There is a play ground, piano, and food court up there as well!
I looking for a picnic from breakfast pancakes, sandwiches, eggs, egg sandwiches, cake, juice and bubble tea for enjoy the day!

What an amazing place! We only went to a couple of playgrounds this time with our 4yo, but next time we will have more time to explore more. Just beautiful
As a realtor I'm fortunate that i get to see a lot of places and visit a ton of parks as my dog travels with me. This is a beautiful park in a stunning neighborhood. We just helped a client buy near here and they love it!

Great use if indoor space. As a interior architect, this was great to see. Urban use of city space is a valuable used one large commercial building space. Though there was area cut off for a private event.
Riley Park is an urban park in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is located in the neighbourhood of Hillhurst, bounded by 8th Ave. NW, 10th St. NW, 5th Ave. NW and 12th St. NW. The park plays is host to Calgary's Cricket Leagues and Calgary Concert Band holds free concerts in the park during summer. Amenities include a wading pool and playground. The park was once part of a 146,000 hectare parcel of land known as Cochrane Ranch. The area was homesteaded between 1888 and 1909 by the Riley family, and willed to the City of Calgary following the death of the family's patriarch, Ezra Riley. The 20 acres parcel that is now Riley Park was donated to the city in 1910.

An indoor garden situated in the heart of downtown Calgary and within the mall. It is open all year round. The place is clean and well-maintained. If you are working nearby, it is a perfect place for lunch breaks to get away from the daily grind. Visiting the place makes you forget about stress and deadlines at work, even for just an hour.

Kids love this place and it's so close to downtown but yet away from the crowd that it makes it enjoyable. Pretty quiet for where it is. The kids did find a few questionable things but the city does usually do a great job at keeping it clean.
It's just a garden on the 4th floor of a mall. It has small pools for fishes and fountains. There's a place for kids so they can play and small tables for eating in the garden area. There is no need to pay to entry. When I arrived there was a guy playing piano which made the ambient very relaxing.

Took my toddler here for a fun summer afternoon. Safe playground with ample space for the little one to run around.
Mediocre playground. A bit dirty. Although have many swings. Parking is terrible.
Very nicely built! We rode bikes here from Tommy Thompson park.

Devonian indoor botanical gardens in downtown, Calgary, managed by city of Calgary parks, is a wow place. Situated on the fourth floor of a high end mall on the East bound 3rd Street railway platform, this stunning, beautifully crafted, pristine-clean, and very well-maintained garden is simply amazing and awe-inspiring.

Had I not seen it, I would not have believed the indoor garden could be so stupendous and astonishing.

The stunning, uscenic, breathtaking views of gardens with a variety of trees, plants, flowers, shrubs, cacti, living walls, alluring ponds, water fountains, and walls decorated with artifacts are beyond words - it is just phenomenal.

Moreover, like outdoor parks, there is an eye-catching play area with some enticing equipment to amuse children with sitting arrangements for parents to keep an eye on their children.

The park that has benches at numerous places, also, has a humongous food court with several eateries to choose from and hundreds of cozy sitting arrangements.

This is a must visit place in an outstanding mall in Calgary which is in the vicinity of the Calgary tower and the famous Stephen Avenue known as pedestrian mall. It is a heavenly place that has everything to fill its visitors with elation and tranquility.

Entrance to the Devonian Gardens is free, but Unfortunately, the mall and the gardens close by 6:00 pm; I wish they were open until 10 pm, in summer.

Really unique swings and slides in a unique location! An interesting mix of urban landscape and bee-friendly gardens as well. It is small but worth a visit and you can walk to St. Patrick’s Island bridge in about ten minutes.

My only wish would be for a picnic bench or seating under the overpass to get out of the sun. And the glass stucco is coming undone and laying around, however it doesn’t seem particularly sharp.
Good playground suitable for smaller kids. There is another playground nearby, suitable for bigger kids.
Great playground with a big, open green space that's often bustling with happy kids and friendly parents.
In Stanley Park
Two different play areas and swings
Some seating is in the shade

Lovely little park. Quite slippery in the snow. Excellent in the summer. Great way of activating an otherwise unused space.
Hidden gem of the city. Lots of parking. Great for kids and washroom facilities on site! Recommended to all. Close to Cherry Beach so added amenities close by.

Neat park, urban style park with soft rubber floor. Great little spot and use for a hill by a over pass. Stopped to waste some time.

A nice park/playground within the neighborhood. Lots of children play together here. There's a few playground structures here in the bed of sand. Swings for both older and younger. Slides, spinner, seesaw and a splash pool.

Paid Parking available on the side streets.
This is a great small community playground. The people are nice here and the kids like it. I like the public bathroom

We *loved* this park! The roller slide was so fun, I went down it multiple times, until I was too tired to climb the hill again. Ping pong table which was in the shade was fun, too. What an amazing space!

The park was well maintained and clean when we were there.
The kids enjoyed it.
I found the '70s stucco style concrete, with embedded pieces of glass, at the bicycle parking spot and as a border throughout the park, rather unusual and a little concerning.
Incredible atmosphere for families, people exercising or those looking to have a nice evening.

There is play equipment, food trucks, movies in the park and near by a public swimming pool. Lots of birds, so do not encourage them with food.
Awesome wading pool, and playground for kids
It's my daughter's favourite spot to play. Good vibes. Lots of nice people and family here.

I use to take the kids here often. It is more suitable, and fun for my 4 year old. Not alot of options for older kids.
At the moment there is alot of construction looks like they are expanding 🤞🤞Limited parking near the park. You can find parking down the road .
Great place for kids (and parents) to play or picnic or cycle or walk.
This playground kept a 7 and 9 year old entertained for 2 hours and they still didn't want to leave!
Nice little playground next to second beach. Good place to keep the kids engaged if beach is crowded. There are slides and enough swings for small kids and toddlers.
Good for colder sunny days as the play area is not having shade of any tree.
This is a great playground! There are two major areas, one with gravel and swings and one with the tire ground and the helicopter. Great for younger and older kids. There is also a huge field behind the park for running around, soccer etc. Plenty of benches, a couple of picnic tables and parking is just along the road or within the neighborhood.

What a wonderful experience we had at this playground. There are variety equipment options the your different age kids. It also offers the unique “helicopter” your kids can climb. It’s a very spacious green grass area that you can play sports with your team or family. It also provides with picnic tables and bike or waking path. We came here before the sunset. With the yellow leaves and perfect temperature and quiet community around , it was great.

Great new park! A couple of really nice long slides (roller style & regular), and some fun swing sets (one is a tandem seat swing!). Rubbery flooring to soften falls. Games including ping pong, tetherball, ladder ball, & bocce. Climbing poles that look like bamboo, ropes & nets to climb up.

Several seating areas for parents in various parts of the playground.

Smaller kids (under ~ 5 or 6) will be thrilled by the swings and slides, but there isn’t as much for them to climb up and down as for bigger kids (6+). Would be a good park to visit if you have multiple kids of various ages.

Also, walking distance to Lukes Drug Mart, Village, Una, Phil & Seb’s, and many other locally owned businesses if you need a tasty treat!
Very nice neighborhood park, perfect for after school or weekend play.

Nice park playground... Tallest swings in Toronto (maybe)... Small splash pad... Close to Trinity Bellwoods and continues at South Stanley across King Street... So the north side had the splash pad and playground and a ping pong table and grass... The south side across King has two tennis courts (concrete surface ... busy on weekends) and a small swimming pool 11 people max during covid... And a ping pong table... And an offleash dog park area... And a baseball diamond... The south side also connects with the new pedestrian bridge to fort york...

Flooding in the winter on the north side may result in skating conditions...

The playground on the north has some monkey bars and swings for babies and older kids and a see saw... The north also has a nice basketball court..
Quiet place, friendly neighbors. This playground has a wading pool under sunshine, shared toys, sand box, as well as washrooms. Surrounding are Chairs under shades. You feel safe when leaving children inside the playground as they have fences. Free limited hour parking can be found along the roads. I love this place.
The central part of the playground is still roped off due to Covid19. The rest of the playground is open though. The airport theme is always popular with the kids.

The parking here is ok. It can take some time to find a decent spot but at least it is free.

A cool feature is the solar powered seating area that has a plug in for phones or laptops. That is a pretty nifty feature for parents waiting at the table while their kids play.

Always a fun and relaxing time at the farm
Lots of variety to play with but the equipment needs up keeping
A nice little playground. It is well kept and not too busy. It isn't near a busy street so I feel safe letting my daughter run around and play. There are swings, a full play set and a clean sand box. There are also benches nearby for parents to sit on while the children play.
This playground is awesome. It is open concept in that everything is quite spread out and allows space for kids to run between each section. There's also no gravel! Huge win! There are baby swings, slides and a fun spinning seated-go-round. The park also has fencing to keep kids from running into the neighborhood. Great design!
One of Calgary's better playgrounds. Lots of older kid structures, lots of jiggly stuff for toddlers. Lots of free on street parking. Plenty of mature trees and benches for shade as well. Currently in a construction zone. Really recommend.

This is a standard playground but nothing special about it. There are toys kids can play with. It could use an update with soft playground flooring. The wading pool is large enough for the amount of kid there. Check the website for updated seasonal hours. Note no pets are permitted in the wading pool.

Very nice and spacious playground located in a beautiful area. It has a lot of different playground areas and devices to keep kids entertained and safe. It also has a softball field and a large open grass area suitable for any outdoor sport. In addition there are trails to walk or ride your bicycle.

Beautiful park located in Currie Barracks. Lots of open area for kids to run around and the whole park is on a soft rubber floor, no gravel or wood chips. There are several play structures; the aircraft control tower, climbing structure, airplane, and a lot of smaller play items like a 4 person teeter totter, small airplane rockers and a spinning platform. All of which are pretty easy to use, even for little tots.

There are also 2 large swing sets and los of nice benches surrounding the park to sit on. There are also a few shaded areas because of the beautiful trees in the park itself.

Parking is streetside and there is plenty of parking. There are no washroom facilities however.

Overall a great place to spend a few hours with the family.
Such a great park sort of tucked away from the hussle and bussel of 29th and memorial.

The park has a double playground setup with a soft rubber ground and a pea gravel ground. The swing set has a full harness locking system for your kiddos or adults if you fit! Helicopter park has a nice variety of easy old school kiddo play zones and more big kiddo play/climbing gyms. Bring your bikes the playground has a path system and even ramps for your kiddos to take jumps. The path system is a loop with wiggles in it so it makes the kids swerve around.

Fun airplane themed park with slides, swings, airplane looking rocking horses, a teeter totter, and even a merry go round. Rubber squishy ground which is soft in case of a fall. Plenty of seating with some of it in the shade. Sign says for ages 5 to 12, but younger kids have a great time too.
